It's a good idea to look at existing UA-camrs for a frame of reference, but it's also important to note that it gets harder and harder to be a UA-camr every day as more people create content. People complain about the algorithm but it's got billions of videos to sort through with more coming every day. Older content creators had the luxury to just keep uploading but I believe videos need to be of very high production value to actually benefit a channel.
