Without question one of (if not THE) best sketches of recent times, I can sincerely say that it was a return to what made Studio C so great to watch, well written, well acted out, with humour that flowed naturally rather then forced weirdness. Good work.
I think it's because one of the cast is a producer now and the executives of Studio C let the actors/writers do whatever they want I guess. They also did not hire back some of the writers and producers of last seasons.
About halfway through the sketch I was thinking "The only thing that could make this even better than it already is is if they suddenly changed into victorian clothing" I was incredibly delighted to see they went above and beyond my hopes
Dearest, Studio C. Your play on the passing notes was truly a spectacular show. It had me guffawing out of the chair, truly it was such a fresh breath of air that we all needing this dark times. It has my mind racing with thoughts of attempting to do this in a local education building and seeing what the people think of this idea. Thank you for such a wonderful time. Sincerely your, a fan of your work.
Great Eric Huber, I express great satisfaction in seeing your comment; amazed and delighted I found myself to discover the intellectual response. I do so lament that not all comments can be such as this: refined and expressive. It is to my agony that I recognize the painfully inadequate quips given by our fellow commenters. I write to you in sorrow and yet hope that one day, perhaps, we may all be able to celebrate a new era of a comments section: one more so akin to the old era when mankind’s letters contained true thought and courtesy. With a heavy heart, SirMister
Dearest commenters, I know not who you are, nor what you look like. I know not your interests, personalities, or mannerisms. All I know is this: by this glorious coincidence of commentary we shall summon the greatest minds hither to this reply thread, and we may delight in their tasteful humor as they delight in our own. What was once an entertaining play on the standard UA-cam comment may lead to something much greater; something far beyond what it could've been on its own. Though you must understand, we must be forgiving the vulgar vernacular of the commentary from the uneducated sea of viewers; they may not have entered the replies of the comment that started this and may simply have regarded it as a joke to be forgotten. Such is their upbringing and education, and we must be magnanimous. Though if by some wonderful venture someone new enters this reply chain, they may be blessed by our humor and may themselves heed the call of silliness. Truly yours, Press Y to Honk
Golden. I love how it built and built. So fun to hear language used so intense, dramatic, and almost poetic. Far from what we hear and say today. To the teacher's defense, it's easy to get pit stains wearing layers, such as a vest.
Dearest, Studio C. I humbly enjoy this take on the age-old passing note in class. It had me guffawing out of my seat like a madman. Truly an excellent play! Sincerely yours, Zero Shadow.
My heart is overcome with inexpressible joy! I wait with baited breath for the sequel. I do so hope I shan't have to wait long. Parting is such sweet sorrow. Studio C, you are a cherished part of my week. This sketch is truly a monumental one.
Studio C has helped me build a stronger relationship with my sister and helped me through the passing of my pet gerbil. Rest in peace Henry 'Reepicheep'. P.S. You should do a Narnia sketch!
I ADORED this skit! Many hearty congratulations to you, dear Studio C! The jubilation that I have rendered from watching your comedy has been so uplifting to this pitiful Soldier's dreary days. Thank you ever so very much and I look forward to your next skit with fervent anticipation!
The music that sounds like it was ripped straight out of a Masterpiece Theater show was the cherry on top of this quite above average sketch. Nice touch!
Dearest Studio C: The bell hath brought news of thy newest work to mine attention. Your work was as radiant as the midsummer sun. Thine comedy ‘twas pure as day’s first dewdrops nestled on the flowers of my heart. May ye continue to soar to new heights on the back of thine messenger pigeons. Sincerely yours, MyNameHere
Your hilarious content in your videos has inspired me to make my own scetches and movies, which i have posted some on my channel. Thank you for being so funny and creative! You guys are my absolute fav channel to watch.😁
In high school my cousin tori and I had almost all of our classes together but thier was one teacher that separated us so we'd txt each other in class until he took away our phones so we stared yelling to each other from across the room
Me and my friends are in the middle of a massive texting battle where every text (read: speech) is formatted like this. It's almost two am and it's getting pretty intense- my second friend threatened to put my first friends limbs in a blender and listen to her scream. Friend one played a verbal uno reverse card, friend two insulted me of holding myself at a higher power than I do, and friend three is a cinnamon roll that must be protected, thrown into this madness and trying to make herself heard, only to be overshadowed by friend two, the most violent of us four.
Dearest Studio C “I do hope this latest damp has not aggravated your grey lung." Dip-dip-dip-dip-dip. "Matters stateside have taken a tragic turn as this year's gourd crop has fallen prey to a rather unexpected infestation of salt marsh cutworms." Dip-dip-dip-dip-dip. Wife yells at me. “ marital concerns continue to bedevil me.” Family guy
I remember doing just that in elementary school. What mess it was when occasionally our correspondence was intercepted by the teacher and what transpired after that is unspeakable
Dearest reader, It has being years since we last spoke. I send this letter as a sign of good faith. I hope that your household finds good harvest this year. Also you are like really cute. Yours truly, Your lover. ❤️
Wow. This is pretty funny! I love how everyone around them is like totally oblivous to everything going on! (also WAS THAT a real pigeon? Or am i just thinking that?)

Agreed!

My thoughts exactly.
You said it brother!
Agreed.

Well done! Every Jane Austen and Anne spelt with and "E" loving person shall swoon over this sketch. Bravo! 👏😆

To the teacher's defense, it's easy to get pit stains wearing layers, such as a vest.
The lecture in the background is crazy. "He was blind, but he wasn't... not on a boat. That's what I always say."
What a very dramatic way to pass notes. It's so inspring too. I love these guys.😄
"Playdough is also a toy," such wisdom!!!!
This reminds me of Rachel Maksy reading her middle school diary as if it was a classic work of literature
"Plato is Greek. Do you know what is not Greek? Playdough..."🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dearest, Studio C.

Great summary of the first part of the Odyssey. Mr. Farkis is so insightful

So it's Studio C's doing that we're still friends? interesting...
Yes I sure see them as the girls.

The boat! & pigeon?!🤣
Dearest studio C, I must say I did greatly enjoy the video and hope to see another soon
The music that sounds like it was ripped straight out of a Masterpiece Theater show was the cherry on top of this quite above average sketch. Nice touch!
Dear Studio C,
This play of yours was wonderful and gives me joy that I have felt since that bordem.I loved so much
From,
a fan
Megan and Naomi are two real gems! And kudos to writer Kasbian. Jocularity hath brought us joyful diversion.
Can we talk about these costumes?! Better than some period dramas, love them 🙌
Dearest Studio C:
The bell hath brought news of thy newest work to mine attention. Your work was as radiant as the midsummer sun. Thine comedy ‘twas pure as day’s first dewdrops nestled on the flowers of my heart.

I was hoping the teacher would take one of their notes to read before the class, and then he'd realize "oh sh*t this message is encrypted"
The writer deserves appreciation for this sketch👏
Why, why, why, is there a seemingly endless supply of pigeons...? :)
Love it! These last two were surprisingly good!
This is the best sketch this season! Lol
Just like a jane Austin movie. This sketch was flawless!!! Love it!!!
Ay, that final harpsichord arpeggio with the modern Hollywood instrumentation underneath it was super dope.
The escalating costumes 😂
MY HEART!!! SO MANY TEARS!!! DO NOT SEPARATE THEM!!!
Let me know if you have any questions about the Odyssey
Did Odysseus have pit stains?
@@josettejoy6003 Yes. Boats are very sweaty places
Did Odysseus ask a cute maiden to Spring Formal? 😘
Did Odyssey get detention?
What makes you say the Oddyssey overrated?
Your hilarious content in your videos has inspired me to make my own scetches and movies, which i have posted some on my channel. Thank you for being so funny and creative! You guys are my absolute fav channel to watch.😁
Honestly, this is what it feels like to be separated from your best friend in the classroom lol.
Would love to see this become a series.
Classics student here to say: Plato is a Greek philosopher...and also a toy.
tanners lisp XD its driving me mad I can't stop thinking about it "hey tall girl. I can't thee"
This brought me back! The humor of this sketch really felt similar to what I loved about the original cast! Bravo!
Agreed! I feel like Naomi has been really great at making the humor feel a lot like the original Studio C.
The clothing had me laughing so hard!!!
One of the best recent sketches. Well done!
this really took me back in 3rd grade when me and my friends would pass notes and we would right stuff on the back of the note not to waste paper
Well... this all escalated quickly.
It feels like I’m watching a scene of “Bridgerton” here
please more of this!!! this is great lol
I never leave comments. But this was excellent 👏🏻 bravo!
"dearest sister from another mister"
Megan's dad: "I knew that bch was cheating on me!"
I need a part 2 of this… 😂
Here, here! 👏🙏

Dalton: “Boats!” Hahaha
In high school my cousin tori and I had almost all of our classes together but thier was one teacher that separated us so we'd txt each other in class until he took away our phones so we stared yelling to each other from across the room
This was one of my favorites
I've seen this video many times I still laugh and I love the part with the pigeon!!
THIS IS SO GREAAAT
Hey tall girl I can't see!🤣
I wish
HS girls really be this dramatic. Also, love the mincing exit. Really sells the dichotomy of past/present day.
This reads like the old classics. And the "I have a chill scene is straight from Pride and Prejudice.
How the heck did all those people keep straight faces? 🤣👍
Naomi makes me laugh so much! :D
What it looks like: People passing random notes
What it feels like:
Lol the boat makes this show the goat
Seriously so good, that was hilarious
Amazing writing, and so well executed!
The immature whine at the end really sold it
I love all the studio c sketches with old Shakespearean language
One of the best recent ones.
It feels like it’s a trailer we need a movie 🎥
bro i wish Dalton was my history teacher.
This was legitimately funny! Make more like this!😂
I was a roller backpack kid, and this sketch called me out so strongly with Meg’s roller backpack. Oof!
Now this is a classic Studio C sketch
No, this is a new one. Lobster Bisque is a classic.
@@OneWeirdDude I know, I just meant this had the feel and quality of a classic Studio sketch

This is so me and my bestie, it's almost scary 🤣🤣🤣 even down to the Victorian era styles
IT'S just me and my bff if we r to be kept away😢😂
He jests at detention who never felt the wound!
1:19 Hey tall girl.
I'm just imagining Anne of green gables and her friend doing this
This is what I want to happen if I ever get moved away from my friends in class
Bravo! Loved this one
This was a good one! You guys can get there
Best episode!!!!😃💗

They are way more entertaining then snl
The escalation
Why am I crying and laughing so much
I remember doing just that in elementary school. What mess it was when occasionally our correspondence was intercepted by the teacher and what transpired after that is unspeakable
This must have been a very long class
I love it!
I thought they were going to act like everyone around them heard every word they were saying as they wrote the notes
Dearest reader,

Coming soon to Hulu
this is so cool
This is fantastic!
Dang this should be a show 👌🏼
Wow. This is pretty funny! I love how everyone around them is like totally oblivous to everything going on! (also WAS THAT a real pigeon? Or am i just thinking that?)
Those two remind me of Riley and Maya. They would also be that dramatic.
I died laughing.
so funny!!🤣🤣❤love your channel!
Two decent sketches in a row?! Don't toy with me, Studio C! Can this truly be the end of the drought that began in Season 10?
This was awesome!!!
4:13 You gotta love teachers taking pride in being jerks to their students. It's way too common.
