    We read news in the media that doom and gloom is coming and we just accept it, doom and gloom doesn’t always have to be coming, I’ve read numerous success stories of people that are pulling off tremendous gains of up to $250K within weeks in this crazy market and I just want to learn how to achieve such figures.

      Since the crash, I've been in the red. I’m playing the long term game, so I'm not too worried but Jim Cramer mentioned there are still a lot of great opportunities, though stocks has been down a lot. I also heard news of a guy that made $250k from about $110k since the crash and I would really look to know how to go about this.

    These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market.

      Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. I know someone who made over $350k in this recession influenced market, but to the best of my knowledge, it was through a financial advisor.

    • @theresahv
      @theresahv Рік тому +2

      Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2019, and I return at least $21k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

      It's funny to me when I see people who think of "sales" as a way of saving money. Take a buy one get one free on two pairs of shoes. Say a pair of shoes is $75 dollars but if you buy it, you get another pair of shoes for free! But that's not the case the cost to make the shoes is 30 dollars. This can also apply to other brands of clothes. For the most part you're paying for the BRAND and not the quality, same applies to sunglasses. A $5 dollar pair of glasses vs a $500 pair of glasses only the $500 pair of glasses has the word "coach" or "Gucci" inscribed on it.

Well over 80% of that money averaging about $2 million was made because of taking advantage of buying high-end stocks at a deep discount during the Great Recession. 2009 I fired the stockbroker got rid of all mutual funds and bought individual dividend stocks. The US-Stock Mrkt had been on it’s longest bull-run in history, so the mass hysteria and panic is relatable, considering we’re not accustomed to such troubled mrkts, but there are avenues lurking around if you know where to look, I’ve netted over $850k in the past 10months and it wasn't some rocket-science strat. I applied , I just knew I needed a firm and reliable technque to navigate better in these times, so I hired a portfoilo advlsor.

      pilotx3mm For her to say poor ppl is wrong !! Perhaps if she would phrase this video that suppose to motivate you or inspire you to do the most to get rich she should of gone about it in a whole different way !! More like to succeed in life set short term goals and long term goals you need to get a degree find a career that your interested in do your research on how long it would take to get there see what the pay is, is it in high demand and etc. There's nothing wrong with buying clothes or anything on sale that's money you saved yourself from paying full price. In order to establish credit you have to start off small to establish credit over time you build your credit so creditors see your credit score credit worthy and apply to increase credit amount. I don't agree that hanging out with poor ppl its bad for you the rich are snobby, selfish I can go on and on. This video is dead on like Trumps way of thinking he's superior because he's rich when he was born into money he also misused funds for personal gain to build a business from the St. Jude foundation along with many more foundations that money ppl donate to charity is suppose to be used for that purpose. Not personal gain that's Rich for you how to be corrupt

      Tyler Padgett I buy clothes that are on sale almost exclusively, I don't have a lot of money and have never been wealthy but I have a lot of clothes that I have accumulated through out the years- i think the point the narrorator was trying to make was it is better to buy nice clothes you really want, not waste your time shopping for good deals and have a smaller wardrobe selection rather than buying discounted clothes mindlessly... like less is more in this case, just my interperation- the tone of this entire video is a bit elitist and seems out of touch in some ways, but in many cases people buy stuff they don't really need or necessarily would want at full price just because it's a good deal

      Daffy 420, what a lovely outlook on life you have. I have a similar philosophy; life is not all about having what you want, but wanting what you have. I'm sure the likes of Alan Branson & Richard Lord Sir Sugar would heap scorn on my small 2bed flat, 14 year old car, charity shop furniture and sale rack clothes, but I love and feel content with all the things in my life, and I derive a huge amount of pleasure from sharing them with others. Everything I own was carefully saved for, paid for in full, and is lovingly cared for and appreciated. nothing has money owing on it. I consider myself one of the wealthiest people in the world; Because I don't count money, I count the love in my heart, the dreams in my pockets, the integrity of my soul, the kindness in my nature, my willingness to share, and all the strong loving friendships I have with the people in my life. I don't want or need lots & lots of money, because I already have something much better; It's enough. Most of all, I'm happy. Very very happy. Try finding a 'rich' person who's happy.?.. I rest my case.

      Ironically the numbers are staggering on the poorer side. While the rich do commit suicide quite often, a lot of it is due to emotional issues money can't solve, and pride, something money worsens. The poor commit suicide for the same, and/but different reasons. For every 1 "rich" person that commits suicide because Fee-Fee their poodle died, or an investment tanked, 300 "poor" people leave this life behind for a host of things ranging from obesity & poor diet, to healthcare bills, or a significant other broke up with them. And another statistic is how "poor" people do it. The "poor" are more prone to smoke, eat, and drink themselves to death, destroying themselves from the inside out. The very slow suicide rather than the quicker route is not much spoken of.

    • @thegazetteyt
      @thegazetteyt 6 років тому +10

      ALl of what you cited poor people dieting from are generally money related. If you have more money you can eat better, go to the dr more, relieve the stress more, etc. But rich people killing themselves because their dog died is something all different. There is a lack of a coping mechanism based on not haing to compromise comfort.
      The real question that would be asked is what is the subside rate of people who inherited their money vs are self made rich.

    6) Poor people are often exhausted from working 2 or 3 jobs and shower every other day instead of every day.
    7) Snotty ass remark.
    8) They can't afford to save money. They use their entire income on basic survival. That's why they are poor.
    9) You mean like buying fashionable clothes that aren't on sale?
    10) Some poor people can't afford an abortion, or can't morally do that.
    11) Poor people can't afford doctors, and if they can, they are not used to taking care of their bodies.
    12) Rent has to be paid or they become homeless.
    13) Because rich people are dicks.
    14) Poor people have shit jobs and don't have fucking time for "dreams". Stop telling people that they should get an art degree. They will still be poor.
    15) The economic climate is consistently unfair to the poor, and rely on teamwork to survive, so save your platitudes for rich people.

    Of course when my mother's doctors discovered her brain tumor, she was getting it checked out as often as her insurance would allow her. It wasn't her fault that they ended up misdiagnosing her. When they found out she had terminal brain cancer she quit her career as a teacher so she could make more money doing manual labor as a factory worker. As a single mother she is doing the most she can to give my younger brother and I the necessities in life while still paying for whatever cancer treatments our shitty insurance doesn't provide. Soon her body won't be physically able to handle her hard work. But I guess it's her fault that we're poor right?

      Alex M Seriously this is why rich people doesnt understand poor people. To have no clothes in a true sense. I AM broke but not poor and there is a difference, i only buy food, shampoo/conditioner and the like and often try to come up with ways to get some extra cash still I dont have enough money to spend on clothes I probably have only around 120-150 usd to spend on clothes a YEAR( or 12-15 usd per month) So I wont go buying just one pair of pants at 80 dollars I'll buy the pair that is on sale so that I can also afford one or two tops and/or underwear because I also NEED a those and not just pants.
      Still I never watch tv I dont have the time but UA-cam and the internet is my tv I guess, I dont watch sports unless there is somebody I know that are in it, but if I get home and somebody looks at ballroom dancing competition, horses jumping or figureskating I'll enjoy it. Those are interests I have had but that I have dropped. But I dont care about the results. And something I also enjoy is watching nature documentaries and science programs but I usually wait intill they are available on dvd or something like the BBC planet earth 2.

      Rainbow Mama Firstly, this is not a comprehensive list. That means it doesn't necessarily involve *everything* that a poor or unsuccessful person does. You just said that you lack *most* of the habits that hold people back from achieving success, well who knows? Maybe you are very close to being successful. Figure out how you spend most of your time....You don't just become successful by avoiding bad habits. You also have to DO something that gets you there.

    • @briddenattech

      This list is supposed to be a general guide, and she even says that not everyone is in control of their circumstances. Not judging, but you probably did make it to 'financially stable' before having kids, but that isn't exactly cutting it.
      I don't judge the people who stay poor their entire lives. I see it as a failure of public schooling that DOESN'T require home economy, civics or other necessary classes to succeed in life. Instead we have secondary languages and math that most will never use that are required. (I'm an engineer and I've never used more than basic algebra)

      e.g. buying items you don't particularly need, or were not originally intending on buying, but due to the fact they're on sale, you decide to purchase them(thinking you're getting a bargain).
      this is especially likely to happen when clothes shopping, grocery shopping, or when seeing some fancy doodad at a dollar store or what-not.

    Saying that poor people have kids early on is misleading. While it is easier to gain wealthy by not having kids early, but for some it comes at a cost. Many have regretted waiting so long to start a family in pursuit of a career. While it is difficult to gain wealth, this don't mean having kids early will doom you to poverty.

    Still can't passed the whole not buying clothes on sale part. Usually products from the "big fancy" stores have a 100-700% markup. Why would I pay full price when it isn't worth it? Makes no sense to me! Maybe a millionaire out there can elaborate?

    • @rogergeyer9851
      @rogergeyer9851 7 років тому +112

      As a millionaire who mostly got there by doing things like buying durable clothes at Walmart and garage sales and wearing them until they fell apart -- and saving and investing my money instead of wasting it -- I think their point on clothes is complete nonsense. Or on cars -- buying a good middle class Toyota and driving it until it literally wasn't worth it to fix it. Or living in a lower middle class apartment and never moving while I was working. Such things save a LOT of money over a career. Money which can be invested, and then earn income, which can be invested.
      These people are more of the "dress for success" and "virtue signaling" variety. As if saying "look at me" will get you promoted in ordinary jobs. Getting educated, being reliable and productive and consistent will get you FAR more in the real world, if you work for a good boss/company.
      This isn't just my opinion. I lived it.

      You're right. I would never buy clothes off the rack at full price even if were a billionaire. They're usually marked up at least 100% if not more. Also, I would never buy a designer item at full price. You're not paying for the actual value of the item but rather the brand equity that the designer name is adding to the true value of the item. The only time you should pay clothes at full price is when you get them made bespoke by a tailor.

    • @ZosiaSamosiaOo
      @ZosiaSamosiaOo 7 років тому +15

      Yeah if I'm lucky to be at peace on my death bed then I might. If I happen to be dying of cancer though, you can mark my words on it that money may not save you, but it will take away much more of the suffering that actually lets you remember the beautiful experiences you've had with your loved ones instead of falling in and out of consciousness in agony. Money helps greatly in maintaining happiness because it gives you enough sense of stability and security to actually enjoy and create beautiful family experiences.

    If you are watching this, you are spending too much time staring at a screen. that said:
    Poor people watch more TV because they can't afford opera, theater, or even a movie.
    2: Poor people eat more fast food because it's cheaper.
    3: Poor people buy clothing on sale because they can't afford Gucci.
    And so forth.
    In short, this video confuses cause and effect.

      I'm staring at this screen but I'm at work making over $70/hr. in the cockpit of a Boeing 777 babysitting,have passive income and investments.
      Don't own or watch tv.
      Leaving tomorrow for Switzerland for some hiking and Lugano Estival Jazz for a few weeks.
      Fresh healthy food is actually cheaper for me especially during growing season. And I can cook and prepare my own food.
      I buy mostly jeans and tshirts to wear. Don't see the point of buying a Gucci bag or anything else stupid like that.
      I am the millionaire next door type.

    • @jcb3393
      @jcb3393 7 років тому

      +Ethan Davidson - I agree that #3 doesn't seem to make as much sense, because it is still wise to be thrifty (but not cheap - you still buy quality, as that will save you more money over time).
      However, poor people are wasting more time on passive activities like watching TV - it has nothing to do with "not being able to afford the opera". (BTW, how many poor people still manage to find a way to go to a concert or a bar or a rave?)
      Secondly, fast food is not cheaper than buying the fresh ingredients and making it yourself - it's simply marketed that way. Anyone can make a cheaper, tastier, healthier meal than fast food, but you've got to be willing to put in the time to prepare and cook it (as well as the time to learn to cook in the first place!).
      And this gets back to the root of wealth versus poverty: having the wisdom, when you are young, to take the time to invest in your future versus the folly of seeking pleasure and vice instead. The hallmark of the wealthy is the hallmark of a mature adult: delayed gratification.
      - Want to spend less money on shoes? Buy better shoes and take care of them, versus buying a new pair at Payless each year.
      - Want to spend less on automobiles and transportation? Avoid loans and leases by buying a crap car for cash while you save up money each month to buy your next car (used, but still high-quality and practical) with cash. (Yes, you'll hate that first car, but every car runs better when it isn't hauling a monthly payment to the dealership.)
      - Want to make more money? Pay attention in school (instead of daydreaming), study hard (instead of hanging out with friends every night, all night), research, apply for, and earn scholarships to college (instead of taking out student loans), and work hard at your first "real job" (should be during your last year or so of college, so you aren't breaking in your diploma on the unemployment line).
      - Want to get ahead? Be active (work, exercise, volunteering at church, etc.), instead of being passive (watching TV, playing video games, and blaming the government or "the 1%" for why you aren't living the good life).
      Simple advice; hard (but possible) to actually do.
