We read news in the media that doom and gloom is coming and we just accept it, doom and gloom doesn’t always have to be coming, I’ve read numerous success stories of people that are pulling off tremendous gains of up to $250K within weeks in this crazy market and I just want to learn how to achieve such figures.
Since the crash, I've been in the red. I’m playing the long term game, so I'm not too worried but Jim Cramer mentioned there are still a lot of great opportunities, though stocks has been down a lot. I also heard news of a guy that made $250k from about $110k since the crash and I would really look to know how to go about this.
There are actually a lot of ways to make high yields in a crisis, but such trades are best done under the supervision of Financial advisor.
@Dan Brooks Impressive can you share more info?

Poor people eat fast food:
Donald Trump & Warren Buffet - hold my fries.
Chad Gammon and bill gates
You see pictures on Instagram of successful sports celebrities (like a certain boxer) surrounding themselves with bundles of cash. Wealthy people have no use for cash. And they have personal assistants who pay the bills for them. They don't know what most things cost.
Haha, they eat fast food only infront of the camera to motivate people to buy product from companies they own a stake of, Warren Buffett markets himself as a regular consumer of coca cola or McDonald's simply because he owns a huge chunk of these companies and he wants people to buy their products.
#3 is bullshit...I buy on sale clothes because full priced clothes are a rip-off. I can afford to pay 80 dollars for a designer shirt, I just choose not to.
Kelly Sunseri-Adams right and I'm also wondering... how can another person look at my outfit and just KNOW I bought it on sale lol
exactly! I see why shopping at a reputable clothing store is better than walmart, but rich people likely have a habit of telling what is high quality clothing. High prices do not equal high quality
Kelly Sunseri-Adams store rich people shop at, things rarely go on sale. Your not buying a $400 tshirt becuz you think it's a rip off. A rich person doesn't, it's just $400, give them whatever they ask for
Brandon Johnson No WHEN MY son was in kindergarten, the dress code had a list if disgusting stores I wouldn't set foot in. These stores had cheap no quality clothing. I would wait for sales at BROOKS BROTHERS & GYMBOREE. My x ( thank you Tom CUMMINGS) wasn't paying child support. Ian looked fantastic, the clothes could then be resold.
It's funny to me when I see people who think of "sales" as a way of saving money. Take a buy one get one free on two pairs of shoes. Say a pair of shoes is $75 dollars but if you buy it, you get another pair of shoes for free! But that's not the case the cost to make the shoes is 30 dollars. This can also apply to other brands of clothes. For the most part you're paying for the BRAND and not the quality, same applies to sunglasses. A $5 dollar pair of glasses vs a $500 pair of glasses only the $500 pair of glasses has the word "coach" or "Gucci" inscribed on it.
Cultivate the habit of saving and investing over spending. This will be more effective
Following the Trump victory,My partner and I have set money aside to follow up these stocks I believe it is a good time to capitalise on the market for long-term gains, but it wouldn't hurt to know means of actualising short term profit.
Find quality stocks that have long term potential, and ride with those stocks. I have found it takes someone who is very familiar with the market to make such good picks.
How can one find a verifiable financial planner? I would not mind looking up the professional that helped you. I will be retiring in two years and I might need some management on my much larger portfolio. Don't want to take any chances
Zachery Micah Demers a highly respected figure in her field. I suggest delving deeper into her credentials, as she possesses extensive experience and serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking guidance in navigating the financial market.
I just googled him and I'm really impressed with his credentials; I reached out to him since I need all the assistance I can get. I just scheduled a caII.
My father has lots of money and he is miserable. He is demanding and complains constantly. As a result, he's lonely because no one wants to be around him. I believe that above a certain amount, wealth doesn't add much because there will never be enough of it. Cultivate love in your life and you'll be happy. At the same time, eat well, exercise and take care of your mind.
Well if he truest has a lot of money. He should stop any kind of work and do a long vacation. Come back and find a hobby he really enjoys. It’s that doesn’t work, it’s not a money issue 🤷🏾♂️

Well for all my Christians out there it's easier for a camel to pass through an eye of a needle than for the rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. Being rich will not benefit you after death nor will it make your life happier. This guy is speaking pure facts.
This is a very good point. This channel is so shallow. But I can’t help but watching it. Most rich people are born rich. Most people live and die in the same social class they were born in.

You might be wrong there. Unless with "Poor people" you mean the top 18% below the tip 2%, that can afford to waste their lives on nothingness.
That's what I was thinking. hahahahahah.
I learned that the stock market was a rich man's game (yes, grandparents lost it all back then and preached that forever) but I've been around long enough to really taste how great it can be. To be profitable, with inflation at 6.1% These are surely desperate times, but in my opinion, there is no market condition that a good financial advisor cannot navigate, especially those that have existed since the crisis of 2008 and before.
I know having a financial advisor improves your overall portfolio performance, but are they really as effective as you claim?
@@chris-pj7rk They are quite effective, I've been using the skills of an advisor since the August 2015 stock sell off when the Dow fell over 1800 pts which inherently wiped out all my gains I was in down over $80,000 (terrible times)... That's when I started using an advisor, it took me about 6 months to break even and also a net gain of 'about $830,000 while others have waited over years to break even, being aggressive certainly comes with greater risk, but with an investmėnt advisör, it's all been calculated risk.
@@johnlennon232 my 401k growth has been stagnant since the 2019. I wouldn't mind consulting the advisor who guides you, I really want to grow my retirement fund since I could retire in 3 years.

Still can't passed the whole not buying clothes on sale part. Usually products from the "big fancy" stores have a 100-700% markup. Why would I pay full price when it isn't worth it? Makes no sense to me! Maybe a millionaire out there can elaborate?
As a millionaire who mostly got there by doing things like buying durable clothes at Walmart and garage sales and wearing them until they fell apart -- and saving and investing my money instead of wasting it -- I think their point on clothes is complete nonsense. Or on cars -- buying a good middle class Toyota and driving it until it literally wasn't worth it to fix it. Or living in a lower middle class apartment and never moving while I was working. Such things save a LOT of money over a career. Money which can be invested, and then earn income, which can be invested.
These people are more of the "dress for success" and "virtue signaling" variety. As if saying "look at me" will get you promoted in ordinary jobs. Getting educated, being reliable and productive and consistent will get you FAR more in the real world, if you work for a good boss/company.
This isn't just my opinion. I lived it.
You're right. I would never buy clothes off the rack at full price even if were a billionaire. They're usually marked up at least 100% if not more. Also, I would never buy a designer item at full price. You're not paying for the actual value of the item but rather the brand equity that the designer name is adding to the true value of the item. The only time you should pay clothes at full price is when you get them made bespoke by a tailor.
I think the point there is that, the poor buy cause it's on sale and not cause they needed it at that time.
Why would a millionaire be wasting their time answering questions on youtube?
I think they mean don't buy things just BECAUSE they are on sale. You're not saving money if it's something you don't need.
I don’t agree with everything on this video, but rich people do manage and invest their money on different things, but that doesn’t mean being poor means your worthless. I’ve been broke and have also managed to built a 6-figure online business and money doesn’t make you smarter or happier, it just makes things easier 😉
All life happens to make you eat. Unfortunately it's a set amount of shit, but with the more bread you have in life the less shit you eat.

Shopping is a hobby. Don’t knock it.
Endorphin rush for a good sale is everything. Like running a mile or something. A mall trip is a 3 mile casual walk anyways.
Edit: clarification.
I do not agree with the third. I think if you buy cheaper or clothes that are on sale is better for your savings and after that you can invest this money. Why I should pay 100$ for something that I like when I can pay only 50$ when its on sale? And I can save and invest the other 50$!
Agreed. There's two types of rich. New rich savants (they are good at one thing or got lucky) and the well rounded educated rich. The later is often frugal and pays close attention to the value proposition of the goods they buy. They will look for quality AND good price.
Hey, just use the credit card! Remember, you're poor, and that's what poor people do!
Hristo Djambazki They completely missed with this one. If it was reworded to the point of don't buy something just because it's on sale. Buy it only if you need it. Do you really need 15 pairs of Jordans, 30 pairs of jeans, 15 purses, etc.
Hristo Djambazki Yes.Juat because you have money is no need to waste it or spend it carelessly or you won't have it very long.If I were rich instead of poor I damn sure wouldn't piss it away giving it to ripoffs for needless junk.
i think you missed the point. don't pay attention to cost when it comes to buy something you use every day. this way you will appreciate the product you bought even after years. if you buy something that is on sale, you will stop using them as soon as some other products comes to the on sale.

Getting rich off crypto is much tougher than it seems. I keep losing money while trading with these youtub videos, and finding a trustworthy professional trader to help out with these trades also appears to be nearly impossible. This is extremely annoying
Well, I've tried but was so confused with the inflation in price, due to the pointers on how to make substantial progress in earnings?..🙏
The best technique to use in the crypto market is to trade with a professional who understands the market quite well, that way maximum profit is guaranteed

To my understanding this just proves how much we need an edge as investors because playing the market like everyone else just isn’t good enough. I've been quite unsure about investing in this current market and at the same time I feel it's the best time to get started on the market, what are your thoughts?
I noticed, a lot of folks are making huge 6figure killings in this downtrend, only just that such technques are mostly successfully executed by folks with indepth mrkt knowledge.
The US-Stock Mrkt had been on it’s longest bull-run in history, so the mass hysteria and panic is relatable, considering we’re not accustomed to such troubled mrkts, but there are avenues lurking around if you know where to look, I’ve netted over $850k in the past 10months and it wasn't some rocket-science strat. I applied , I just knew I needed a firm and reliable technque to navigate better in these times, so I hired a portfoilo advlsor.
That's impressive, my portfolio have been tanking all year, tried learning new strategies to gain in the current market but all of that flew right over head, please would you mind recommending the invt-adviser you're using?
*Ingrid Cecilia Raad* is actuaIIy the one that guides me, she’s a hlghIy-sought out advlser, so I’m not certain she’s acceptlng new intakes, but you can give it a shot. It wouldn’t be proper to just Ieave her number Iying around, but she has a webpage you can look at if you googIe her name.
Wow I can't believe you guys are discussing about Ingrid Cecilia Raad , I once met her at a conference in California 2019, just before the pandemic. I can testify that she’s very good in trading..Highly recommended.
Number 3 is really lame. At least, it's not applicable in my country. People don't care if you're wearing Armani or H&M as long as you look neat and smart and respectable.
Saumya Arazanka not in America lol
I think it only applies to Americans, Australians generally don't care either
Unfortunately that applies in my home country big time. I'm from Italy and don't need to say more. That's why I moved back to Ireland, at least I can go to the supermarket with my pajamas and slippers on if I want, and nobody gives a shit.
So why buy cheap clothes at full price, when you can shop at Nordstrom rack and get 70% off which is what I do, and own quality stuff
Ricki-Sue King Americans do not care. The culture is express yourself as you please. You can see people wear sandals and shorts while another wears leather boots and a blazer to the same place. Only rich people and people who wish they live that lifestyle care about brands and the like.
Poor doesn’t mean Miserable. Do a video on the suicide ratio rich to poor!⚡️
RichKidsChik l will do a video on that very topic and much more when "Your Daily Sunshine" with Yours Truly Jamez "Mr.Untouchabe Premieres Oct 31 @ 3:15 am same time I was born and the title of the pilot is "Pimp$ in the Pulpits" so check out Mr Untouchable pt2 to play 😎Be Blessed Woman of Destiny. Y.T.💎
Ironically the numbers are staggering on the poorer side. While the rich do commit suicide quite often, a lot of it is due to emotional issues money can't solve, and pride, something money worsens. The poor commit suicide for the same, and/but different reasons. For every 1 "rich" person that commits suicide because Fee-Fee their poodle died, or an investment tanked, 300 "poor" people leave this life behind for a host of things ranging from obesity & poor diet, to healthcare bills, or a significant other broke up with them. And another statistic is how "poor" people do it. The "poor" are more prone to smoke, eat, and drink themselves to death, destroying themselves from the inside out. The very slow suicide rather than the quicker route is not much spoken of.
ALl of what you cited poor people dieting from are generally money related. If you have more money you can eat better, go to the dr more, relieve the stress more, etc. But rich people killing themselves because their dog died is something all different. There is a lack of a coping mechanism based on not haing to compromise comfort.
The real question that would be asked is what is the subside rate of people who inherited their money vs are self made rich.
RichKidsChik it all comes down to what you value most even if you want or have tons of money that should be what you value the most
RichKidsChik you can have a lot of money and be poor minded
'Poor people tend to have more kids and earlier in their life'
The Jenners and Kardashians
They don't go on to higher education or start careers. They have jobs.
To be fair, you listed one famous example. That is called an anecdote. It's anecdotal evidence but Alux was talking about the statistical representation of most rich people. Statistically people that are at the same level of wealth with the Jenners and Kardashians do not have children or had them later in life. Also, statistically more poor people have more kids, earlier in life, than rich people. That's what Alux was referring to.
@@En_Gho exactly..they are twisting good advice into useless information

I'm poor and not offended At All by this video. What I will say is that money is not my focus in life. It's enjoying the time I have for the people that I love. money does not make you happy, but my three children sure do bring a smile to my face.
But you know what, both the POOR and the RICH will die. And nooooooo amount of Money can change that.
rich can afford the funeral ..and have lived a better life without regretting ..they regret having to die tho.
Amen to that...money is merely a tool. A tool that can make your already valuable life better. Imagine if you had the life you have, full of love and then you didn't have to spend one second thinking about having enough for bills, food or vacations with those you love? Money is never the answer to happiness or fulfillment, but it can be an amplifier of said things. Cheers
Money gives you freedom not happiness or good health. How you use your freedom is upto you. Poor people have no money so no freedom and no happiness because they do a job they hate for money.
Im so poor that i cant afford to eat fast food, but I feed my husband and kids killer home cooked meals, my microwave only used to thaw out frozen food.My kids have never ate a tv dinner either. I maybe poor, but my Family knows what love and living life is.I SHOWED THEM THAT, I MAY BE POOR TO THE PEOPLE AROUND ME, BUT TO ME. I FEEL RICH WITH THE LITTLE I DO HAVE......
Daffy 420 Agree, i have rich people in my family (iam poor) and i dont even talk to them. They are the most disgusting, harrogant and unhappy humans beins of the world cause all they care about is to get his money to the tomb. So you,me and all the normal people are more rich in heart and happiness that all that stupid fuckers.
Congratulations, Daffy. You are a person with the right attitude and philosophy in life.!.. As the saying goes: "It's not how much you have, but how well you use the little that you have, that counts".. And: "Sometimes, less is more".
Being frugal doesn't mean being cheap. A home-cooked meal is not only cheaper by volume, but obviously much more nutritious. I buy stuff on sale and take the time to do as many errands during the day without stressing myself. Because, "time is money", right.?
Daffy 420 I want to ask you something that wasn't it be great if you have your feeling and money 💰, & my second question to you is that don't you want money and in my opinion would be absolutely yes . In my opinion don't feel sad about money that you don't have but think of your own world in which you have money and the same feeling that you have now for your family , If I was in your situation I would have probably joined a network marketing company in your country or city whatever it may be.
Thank for writing......
Hoping that you may have got your answers just think on it twice....
Daffy 420, what a lovely outlook on life you have. I have a similar philosophy; life is not all about having what you want, but wanting what you have. I'm sure the likes of Alan Branson & Richard Lord Sir Sugar would heap scorn on my small 2bed flat, 14 year old car, charity shop furniture and sale rack clothes, but I love and feel content with all the things in my life, and I derive a huge amount of pleasure from sharing them with others. Everything I own was carefully saved for, paid for in full, and is lovingly cared for and appreciated. nothing has money owing on it. I consider myself one of the wealthiest people in the world; Because I don't count money, I count the love in my heart, the dreams in my pockets, the integrity of my soul, the kindness in my nature, my willingness to share, and all the strong loving friendships I have with the people in my life. I don't want or need lots & lots of money, because I already have something much better; It's enough. Most of all, I'm happy. Very very happy. Try finding a 'rich' person who's happy.?.. I rest my case.
Daffy 420 the people around you will prosper because of you, save a little for yourself though!
Number 3 was a little patronizing. If on a budget, buying clothes you actually NEED on sale is smart.
Travis Johnson hey traviz, i do get your point mate. but i also admit that many people "poor" people bjt stuff that they dont need just cuz the store puts a "on sale" red sign in front of it..... so your point its very valid. when you actually get the things you need whem they are on sale... and even more valid when you buy them on sale and then make a profit from it.....cheers from deep south tx.!!
u guys thought of the exact same thing i was thinking about while watching this
Well, I made just over 80m last year and the sale rack at BR is my best friend; So I’d say it’s rubbish.
This point wasn't explained properly. Think about black Friday and people fighting just to buy something on sale. You'll never see a rich person lining up for hours just to buy something on sale. So yes, rich people will buy things on sale, but they're not going to go out of their way to do it. Also, poor people will buy things just because it's on sale, even though they don't need it. Great, you bought a $3000 flat screen tv on sale for $1000 on your credit card, but now you add $1000 to your debit and struggling to pay your rent.
I think it's essential to emphasize the importance of diversification and risk management. Many people are scared of the stock market because they don't understand it
I agree with you..education is key I've been sharing resources and articles with my friend's to help them learn more about investing
@@Aliyu-v9vI'm so glad i started investing in the stock market...it's helped me pay off my mortgage faster and build a safety net

This is so corporate. Artists get rich too and I'm not so sure Keith Richards woke up at 5am took a shower ate a salad then started playing guitar in a three piece suit.
Fuck yeah 😂😂
The Keith Richards of the world is a very small percentage. Just like winning the lottery
just saying..often living a less than privileged life lends inspiration that speaks to a larger audience.
very true
Look up "anecdotal".
I do not understand the fact that only poor peaple get stuff on sale, because what makes u rich is to shop smart
Or not shop at all. Because buying on sale is still spending money.
its saying buy things of quality not just because its cheap. most of the time when something is on sale there's a reason why its on sale
If you are buying something because it is on sale, that you wouldn't normally buy, then you are fooling yourself.
good quality to you maybe....im not calling you cheap, but there are things out there made so professionally that it'll last a lifetime....like a lazy boy chair (bad example) vs a chair from walmart. both MIGHT be comfortable but that lazy boy chair will last ALOT longer
I believe what they meant was impulse buying based on said item/s being on sale.
e.g. buying items you don't particularly need, or were not originally intending on buying, but due to the fact they're on sale, you decide to purchase them(thinking you're getting a bargain).
this is especially likely to happen when clothes shopping, grocery shopping, or when seeing some fancy doodad at a dollar store or what-not.
Things that poor people do that rich people don't?
Um...
1) appreciate the little things in life
2) worry about affording health insurance.
3) put up with a job they don't like.
4) go to jail for a petty crime
5) go to jail for a serious crime
6) not take advantage of tax loopholes
7) buyout politicians who will return the favor by fixing the law to benefit them
8) carry a huge student loan debt
9) take vacations
10) [to be added when I can think of more]
That's all I can think of for now.

6) just because the rich lobbied for these loopholes doesn't mean you can't find and use some of them!
8) an education should lead to a better paying job, it's a worthwhile investment, though it does suck
My wife and I did very well in the amount of money that we amassed for retirement. Well over 80% of that money averaging about $2 million was made because of taking advantage of buying high-end stocks at a deep discount during the Great Recession. 2009 I fired the stockbroker got rid of all mutual funds and bought individual dividend stocks. donald trumps statement that he's a self made billionaire n he ONLY started with a million dollar loan shows the disconnection between "wealthy familys" n everyone else who knows that theres no way in hell anyone would give them a starter loan of a million dollars.. diana muahz There are plenty of people who did not start with the silver spoon and became successful. I have seen people that this video mentions that are failures for exactly that: top 2 failure: blaming everyone else for failure (victimization) and making excuses by not going forward constantly. The ones that learn from their failures and keep going are the ones that mostly succeed.
thank you!
J H The word you're looking for is incentive - You will also notice I used the word 'generally'. I'm not saying ALL people who are born to poor families can't make it, but there are a lot more factors going against them than there are against folks from richer backgrounds. They tend to live in poorer areas with lower performing schools, where the kids have an almost anti-educational culture and teachers struggle to maintain discipline in the class, leading to them almost being unable to teach things even to those students who want to learn.
These schools also have a lack of other rich folks to network with, leading to it being far harder to break into the higher earning echelons by simply knowing the right folks. How many times do you see barely competant folks hired straight into upper management simply because they went to school with the boss? Quite a number of times here in the UK at least.
All these factors add up to make even the most hard working folks who follow all these 'tips' to the letter mostly unable to get rich if they are from the wrong background.
Always buy things on sale. You SAVE money that way. No point paying full price to "look" rich when you're not.
SO true
justyouraverage - Warren Buffet shops from the sale rack ..I know that for a fact. New York 1993 Brooks Brothers....Met him there...I was working part time. .
Looking rich can get you A job
Yeah this "fact" is totally bullshit. Successful people got successful by hard work, not by spending their money on the latest big logo sweater. Though the rest of the video was good advice!
I think the actual point is that poor people buy things on sale because they think they are saving money by doing so, but they are actually saving nothing since they are still spending money. That's the was I always look at it. If you lose more value than you gain, you probably don't need it
Actually, clothes usually go on sale when seasons change. So, get that jacket for next winter....if you need it.
95% of the time, you won’t need to buy it
Yes and most wealthy ppl or frugal and will buy clothes on sale of at thrift stores
I bought my North Face jacket in late winter during their 40% off sale. I saved like $90 (was $130 instead of normal $220). I plan for it to be my winter jacket for the rest of my life (there's a lifetime guarantee). So I don't think I'm being spendthrift here or doing something a "poor" person would do. Just being smart.
I actually have a hard time finding things on sale that I like and is in my size.
Sales are the best way to shop!
Of course when my mother's doctors discovered her brain tumor, she was getting it checked out as often as her insurance would allow her. It wasn't her fault that they ended up misdiagnosing her. When they found out she had terminal brain cancer she quit her career as a teacher so she could make more money doing manual labor as a factory worker. As a single mother she is doing the most she can to give my younger brother and I the necessities in life while still paying for whatever cancer treatments our shitty insurance doesn't provide. Soon her body won't be physically able to handle her hard work. But I guess it's her fault that we're poor right?
Kaylee Williams yes it is
Realistically, there is nothing she could have done, and it is not her fault she wasn't able to do the work after awhile
I wouldn't have such a harsh approach, but I agree with you
talk to your friends to destigmatize universal healthcare, it is cheapest and better than insurance and allows you more time and less worry to get in with your life, corporatism is so strong in America people are being manipulated by powerful influences against their own self interest.
Also just like with the tobacco industry the animal industry, heavily government subsidised, after all we cannot afford healthcare but we can subsidised " big(rich) agriculture) is the biggest single threat to human health, and the science has shown for some time why people deluded into saying an "omnivorous" diet are creating problems for their health, most of the top ten diseases are avoidable by whole food Veganism.
No it is not her Fault, don't listen to this dumb bitch voice over. I send your mom love and strength, she 's a warrior
1) Poor people disagree with this video.
We agree with everything except for your #3.
That to us is ridiculous. If you know anything about marketing, you know the manipulation in “sales”. On the road to becoming financially successful you don’t want to throw your money away on overpriced clothing. You can most definitely find good quality clothing on sale, just be sure you’re not buying an item just because “it’s cheap and why not”. Only buy items you know 100% you will wear. Don’t buy too much, be sure of your style, be sure of what you need and what you will put to good use. The price doesn’t matter, whether it’s on sale or not. As long as you know you it’s of good quality, you like it, and can put it to good use.
Paula Irureta That’s true and that’s what I was thinking too
Paula Irureta I agree. Remember that book called the millionaire next door. That had good tips.
There are definitely a few #s on here that really are VERY marginal in your rate of success and one I even see that could be potentially bad for you depending on how often/vigorously your doing it and that's #6...and before you think "that's nasty!"... I'm not saying DON'T shower BUT if you are doing it everyday (and you probably should shower everday if your getting very messy in your profession or deal with others in the medical field or work out and sweat everday) and your washing with a soap, your doing your body more harm then good. Health networks have suggested a few times a week minus the few exceptions above. Must of the video did being up good points though and even number 6 brought out great reasons, it's just you have to take the everything with a grain of salt so to speak.
I disagree with #3. I rather buy things on sale and save money as Benjamin Franklyn said ‘every penny save is a penny earn”
If you need something and you find it on sale BUY IT!!! If you don't need it and it's on sale, just don't.
it should be differences between successful and unsuccessful people... not rich and poor
It is not the same thing. This was to tell you what Not to do if you want to have a shot at being successful. This was to open your eyes to what you may be doing that is keeping you from even making it to the starting gate. Nothing to do with then going out and choosing what you wish to do. That's a whole other, longer, ballgame.
Karthik Murali you fucking high?
I agree and add that your measure of success is from YOURSELF not anyone else (whether your units are dollars, family, books read, etc etc.) Shoving them down other people's throats is a sign of both insecurity and inexperience, not "success" even if the person enjoys more dollars than their neighbor. People who blame poor people for being poor WANT those people to be poor so they feel better. They WANT to believe idiotic notions because they have nothing else to glom onto. Otherwise why blather on about being "rich"? I don't think any of the people on here pretending to be rich actually are lol. They just want to pretend to be rich because there are those who may have less. I would not want to be any of them I'd lose SO much. It is funny..I've never met a real rich person who needs to comment about how rich they are compared to "poor people" on youtube? I don't think the dumbasses on here actually have money and just hope they have more than the "poorest".

These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market.
Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. I know someone who made over $350k in this recession influenced market, but to the best of my knowledge, it was through a financial advisor.
Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2019, and I return at least $21k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.
@@theresahv Is there any chance you could recommend who you work with? I've wanted to make this switch for a very long time now, but I've been very hesitant about. I'll appreciate any recommendation
I really don't like making such recommendations, because everybody's situation is unique. But there are many freelance wealth managers you could check out. Yeah... a lot of folks go poor trying to look rich.
''Shouldn't buy clothes that are on sale'' That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard
Tyler Padgett I buy clothes that are on sale almost exclusively, I don't have a lot of money and have never been wealthy but I have a lot of clothes that I have accumulated through out the years- i think the point the narrorator was trying to make was it is better to buy nice clothes you really want, not waste your time shopping for good deals and have a smaller wardrobe selection rather than buying discounted clothes mindlessly... like less is more in this case, just my interperation- the tone of this entire video is a bit elitist and seems out of touch in some ways, but in many cases people buy stuff they don't really need or necessarily would want at full price just because it's a good deal
Indeed. One would think buying on sale equates with frugality. The wealthy folks I know ( 7-8 digits) are extremely frugal.
Robert Limbo 👍
Tyler Padgett I totally agree! Very dumb and the worst thing on this list!
I think what they are saying is that poor people buy clothes that are on sale when they don't need said clothes. The purpose of a sale is almost always to entice people to buy something they wouldn't normally consider. Many department stores use this strategy to psychologically manipulate their consumers. Usually, marking their original price up then discounting it to make it appears like it is on sale. Think about it. Have you noticed how Kohl's or Macy's or JC Penney (impending bankruptcy aside) always seem to be having a blowout sale? I agree when you need to buy something, by all means, don't pay more than necessary but don't buy something you don't need just because it is simply on sale.
Every word is true. Don't spend less, earn more, get up early, work hard, and don't sit around waiting for comfort and success. I used to be poor, but I'm not now! :)

Man, you missed the point on poor people.
Sounds like you need to post "I will be rich" in the comments...It's the only missing ingredient
Rainbow Mama Firstly, this is not a comprehensive list. That means it doesn't necessarily involve *everything* that a poor or unsuccessful person does. You just said that you lack *most* of the habits that hold people back from achieving success, well who knows? Maybe you are very close to being successful. Figure out how you spend most of your time....You don't just become successful by avoiding bad habits. You also have to DO something that gets you there.
This list is supposed to be a general guide, and she even says that not everyone is in control of their circumstances. Not judging, but you probably did make it to 'financially stable' before having kids, but that isn't exactly cutting it.
I don't judge the people who stay poor their entire lives. I see it as a failure of public schooling that DOESN'T require home economy, civics or other necessary classes to succeed in life. Instead we have secondary languages and math that most will never use that are required. (I'm an engineer and I've never used more than basic algebra)
Bridden ; Charles Bronson said when he was enlisted it was great to wear clean clothes. His life prior was very poor. His mother made him wear a dress to school which I think is a disgrace that The American Gov who forces children to attend school couldn't provide children with clothes and even food from the very first day of the suggestion that all children must attend school.

When you finally have a happiness that money can't buy that's when you have become rich.
It's true and so many people who make an assumption that money is everything don't understand this truth.
16* things lmao
Happiness doesn’t last forever. Money does.
#17 poor people think that money doesn't make you happier.
Money can buy freedom in which can lead to happiness. Who wants to be happy and working 6 hours a day till he’s 65 than to be happy and financially free.
It's interesting how "success" is always equated with the amount of money you have. I think personal freedom is success. Not everybody who's rich is free. Not everybody who's free is rich.
In order for you to have personal freedom you must have some money. It is not easy to live in peace while worrying about certain expenses (bills, food, etc)
@@sapphiremontrelle8091 True dat! But again, not everybody who's rich is free. It's not the money that makes you successful. To me, it's the personal freedom. From there, you can command the money if you need/want to.
It is true weither you wanna accept it or not
Poor people have big tv.
Rich people have big library.
yes. im sure paris hilton, the queen of england, and donald trump all acquired their fortunes from big libraries. must take a big brain to inherit fortunes
Yeah 100% rich people are Smart and not spoiled stupid and lazy (sarcasm)

POOR PEOPLE MAKE RICH PEOPLE !
This video isn't totally right, there is no reason for getting mad at this, they are a luxury UA-cam channel, not an economics press. Value is made of actions, not doing money from the "poor". The actual problem goes for not-globalized education, that causes poverty beside poor economic growth and a bad system in many countries. Greetings from Mexico.
POOR PEOPLE MAKE RICH PEOPLE... So the rich should thank the poor by giving them jobs!
Continue to blame everything
If I had a dollar for every time this video said "poor people" I would be rich.
True... but try doing a video comparing poor people without saying poor people often. Or, try doing a video about Chevy's without saying Chevy.
Austin Friesenhahn 38 dollars isn't rich
Somebody else Hahaha, you counted? 😂😂😂😂
it is to them
Somebody else actually if you have more than 15$ and you have no debt or owe money you are considered rich.
I will be rich and make people rich internally and externally... globally and spiritually 💚💚💙💙🦋🦋🧚💐🧚🧚❤️😊
This really explains why rich people suffer from a severe lack of empathy.
Sydney O'Connor empathy is an asset I wouldn't sell for any amount.
Sydney O'Connor you have to abandon empathy or at least pretend to have it to become anyone worth mentioning.
If those are your values then the title of "anal bead" suits you well, friend.
Why is showing lack of empathy when firmly trying to illustrate a point , a bad thing ?
When u get in trouble at school for example, you're labeled a bad kid , not a good kid. Then your parents have to sit you down and have that talk about "15 things good kids do that bad kids don't" , you think that talk is gonna be filled with empathy? No, because the child won't take the parent seriously. The parent will come off firm and maybe even say some harsh things. However , you have to ask yourself.... Is it true?
We've been given harsh truths all our lives. Some people accept it because it's the truth , others disregard it because it's harsh. One characteristic limits your personal growth and the other helps you become a better person.
Being empathic doesn't make you a "nice person" it just shows you cannot handle the truth.
So rich people are my superior parental figures, and I am a bad child for placing value upon empathy over wealth. Got it. I'll let you in on a secret, the majority of the wealthy people in the world were born into it. Almost nobody gets rich by working hard.
One of my family's close friend passed away last week. She was very wealthy, but we're talking about how she couldn't take it in the grave with her.
We do take our memories with us and we will be rewarded for serving others and for using our talents. Unfortunately many people go thru life looking for how they can be served rather serve.
That's shallow asfuck to say!
You jelly that she's rich? People are rich because they or their family worked hard, and worked smart. They learn to to protect their wealth and teach subsequent generation to do the same.
She can't take it to the grave, but she died knowing that she set a good foundation for her family.
Of course we didn't mean that in an ill way. We work hard and smart, all of us that sometimes we forget about other things besides wealth. Our family brought her here from Laos from when the war broke out and she was a very hard working lady and lived alone but the wealth just sat at the bank.I think you missed my point. If you don't know someone's background you shouldn't be the one to talk.
I agree.
The poor can only take the misery to the grave! The rich have freedom but the poor do a job they hate for money and go to the grave with misery.
The problem with several of these is that they're not the CAUSE of being poor, they're the RESULT of being poor. "Poor people have no money saved." No, they don't, because they're poor. That's the very essence of being poor. Sure, there are people who have no money saved because they waste money, but those people aren't really poor, they're just wasteful. If someone is truly poor, they don't have money saved BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE MONEY TO SAVE. Same with eating fast food and only buying clothes on sale. You can't exactly afford to shop at Whole Foods and wear high-dollar fashions if you simply don't have the money to do so.
No one spends PRECISELY what they make. Putting the money you don't spend on bills into a savings account is a great habit to build even if sometimes that extra money is only a dollar. Just the act of not buying that pack of gum at the store can make the difference, because that is making an effort toward thinking the future goals rather then spending whatever extra on the frivolous. Eating fast food is actually more expensive then cooking. Trust me, beans rice, and vegetables bought in bulk are far cheaper then paying someone to give you a coronary. Instead of buying cheap clothes on sale, save up and buy quality clothes, they will last longer, and wear better. Sure buy some t-shirts and stuff for around the house and messy work, but invest in a good suit or two, good shoes that will last you 10 years or more instead of one. But I do agree that there are food deserts in this country which can make it hard to eat right, that figuring out what are quality clothing vs simply overpriced fads can be very difficult, especially if you are working long hours for little pay. Also being poor is a mind set. I work for a multi millionaire who has all these bad habits and she feels poor. She spends ten times the amount of money I do, yet I feel rich, and she feels destitute. Technically I live on a very low income, yet I have a beautiful home, a car that is in good maintenance and paid for and I travel to the places I dream about. I am definitely rich no matter what the census bureau says!
True enough! But is a good job or does it just continue the poverty cycle? LOL now I am arguing the other side! I don't know why I commented, because I'm sure I don't like the pretentious blaming the victim of poverty for the crime of being poor. It isn't all just poor decision making like this video tries to suggest. I guess I also don't like people thinking "i'm poor and therefore I'm a victim without options."
Well, fast food at least is not cheap. I don't know how it works at your place, but where I live it is much cheaper to cook your self. Might as well cook healthy if you are at it. We really dont have much money right now, but eating healthy is mostly a question of investing time and not so much of money. At least if you compare it to fast food, real good food can be expencive ofcause.
Fast food is ridiculously expensive. It's like 10 times as much as if you bought the ingredients at the grocery store and made it yourself. I've never been rich enough to eat fast food every day.
Have you even considered that people may make less than the cost of living?
I will be rich and a Christian. Without Christ, all of this is meaningless at life’s end! Those who place faith alone in Christ alone will have peace and “riches” throughout eternity!! Watch and see!! 😊
If only poor people like sports, why are there $2000 courtside seats, valet parking and box seats that only the rich can afford? Most people that go to professional sporting events have the expendable income to do so.
that doesn't tell one if they did go when they were poor and spent a 100 dollars a ticket for crappy seats but rather saved and invested early on. not that there is any guarantee if you invest you will get rich, the stock market is really just legalized gambling.
Expensive box seats are bought by large corporations and are written off as 'business expenses'. lol
Alan MacDonald Not Sport itself.....you mean sport as a business*

I disagree with #3 100%. Buying new clothes is not as financially smart as buying used clothes. I buy all my work shirts from Good Will. Why waste money on a brand new shirt you may ruin when you can buy a used one that already has the value diminished?
Cake Gaming insert food, def agree on clothing point tho
I agree. I wait for $2 goodwill sale. That's the only time I get clothes now.
Yes. I believe poor people are the ones who buy things full price.
Even when I have an asset total of over $1 million I can't get over $10 jeans.
Cake Gaming $10 jeans? Most jeans are $50-$100
I will be rich. Not when I grow up, but NOW. I already am rich, I have the right mindset.
Now all I need is money 😂

Centsible Living With Money Mom taking out loans to buy real estate is good debt
Thank you Ann.
That is true. It can really work well if you can fix homes and then sell them for more. Great point.
Centsible Living With Money Mom i,do rather buy and hold forever. I own a rental property that I paid off in 3 years that was seller financed. Got all my money back within 6 years, have owned it 8 years. Probably will pass it on to my children. My worst real estate mistakes were selling and layer the buyer had huge gains not me.

I am a poor people. Your right about quite of few items but wrong about many of the assumptions of poor. Especially #7. I do FACTUALLY blame others for my misfortunes and disabilities.
can't disagree on buying clothes on sales. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WHEN YOU SAVE MONEY. THE MORE MONEY YOU SAVE, THE MORE MONEY YOU HAVE GOT THE RICHER YOU ARE!
That's just something that poor people say. 🤔
There's nothing wrong with buying things on sale as long as you need them. Buying things just because they are on sale is bad habit. This video ignores difference between correlation and causation
Jan Zakrzewski I know millionaires that find ties on the floor and will wear them to work. The guy I know will look in supermarket flyers and search for buy one get one free deals. Honestly, I dont do anything listed in this video but I am poor. This video was made by those living in gated communities.
I think what they meant was don't buy cheap quality things just because of the fact that they are cheap. It's okay to save money, just don't compromise your standards in order to do so.
ToMMy BoY Not really i have schoolmate...her father owns a company...she loves buying stuff on sale so that she can buy 3x more stuff than usually
