I have a new build and put Windows11 on it, and it looks like all is good. The problem I have is both C drive and D drive looks like it has Windows11 on them? Both drives have ProgramFiles and Program Files (86). Did I accidently load windows11 on both drives? If so do I just need to reformat my D drive to get rid of the 2nd copy? Do I need TPM for the second method shown because I was reinstalling off an ssd and got stuck in boot loop so I am going to secure erase through bios and send windows back to the ssd from the usb install shown in this video or am I doing something stupid

Amazing tutorial! But I'm running into issues. At 15:21 after I pick the name for my pc, and I get the "just a moment..." screen, the screen goes completely black then does nothing. How long is the wait supposed to be? I can't get to any screen beyond this point. Any advice would be deeply appreciated.

I want to use the device now for personal use. I have bought a genuine copy of Win 11 Pro and have the activation key etc, can you advise how to completely start new with no record of the previous corporate image? @@JJFlores197 thanks for your reply. My device had previous old company OS image (Win 10 Pro) on it. That is why I purchased Windows and intending to do a complete wipe and install of Windows 11. Is this possible? Appreciate your input.
@@pauloc79 I'm honestly not sure. As I said, since that PC was from a company, they most likely have its hardware information registered on Microsoft Azure, which is a cloud based management system from Microsoft. If you can contact the company, see if they can remove that device from their management system. There may be a way to bypass it, but I don't know. I've never dealt with that.
Everything worked perfectly, but something weird is going on after I get to the setup screen. It tells me to connect to internet, which I have, but literally nothing shows up, no connections or anything, and I can’t seem to skip this but even if I did what would I do?
That's the fun part about Microsoft's BS online requirement. What's most likely happening is that your new Windows install doesn't have network drivers for your network adapter. You'll need to bypass this part by pressing Shift+F10 on the keyboard to open a Command Prompt window. Then, type in: OOBE\BYPASSNRO and press enter. Your computer will restart and take you to this setup screen again. You should now have an option called "I don't have internet" click on it to continue with the setup process.
Once you're at the desktop, you'll need to install the drivers. You will need access to another PC or device with working internet. You can get the drivers from the motherboard/computer manufacturer's page. Then transfer them to a flash drive and then install them on your PC.
I would make sure BIOS mode is disabled on your PC. It may also be called CSM, legacy mode, legacy BIOS or similar. Make sure UEFI Boot, Secure Boot, and TPM 2.0 are also enabled.
Sooooooo. Installed windows 11 on nvme drive. Setup windows. Downloaded drivers and such things. Turned off the pc. Came back later, turn in the pc and loops to the bios over and over. Checked for the boot location, there’s no boot options. There’s like LAN boot. But my nvme drive isn’t there. If I plug in my usb, it recognizes that. Asrock B550m steel legend.
Make sure BIOS mode is disabled (maybe called CSM, legacy mode or similar) and that UEFI Boot is enabled. On some systems, you may need click on boot entry. This will bring up a list of boot options. See if your NVMe SSD is listed and select it; it may show up as UEFI: Windows Boot Manager followed by the NVMe model number.
