To answer the question there's a box that is made just for you that. They sell them for every different car making model. Which swaps over all of the packages that you have for your vehicle. I have a 16 Durango. I can't remember what the box is called. But any audio store will tell you what it is.
So far how have it held up? would you recommend anyone to purchase or are you running into a bunch of errors? Also , does it work to fold down the head rest in the back seats

You can always download the maps for offline use with google maps not internet needed

It honestly works amazing and it's pretty much the same as the uconnect except with a bunch more options and yes you can fold the headrest

You don't need an external microphone. The internal microphone has better voice quality.
