- What happens when you take a strategy that can one shot the hardest boss in the game and use it against other players instead? Cheesing PvP with Blood Orb minefields.
I didn't really have a build for this. You just need Blood Artisan's Cuirass, tendrils with the blood orb upgrade and decrepify with the CDR to quickly stack blood orbs. + any bone and crit damage.

@@evg3nius, you mean achievements? Yes, but there is nobody to get them from. LOL Fields of Hatred are always empty when I go. Maybe because people don't want to lose progress. I think I should actually level up an alt for HC PvP, too, now that I think about it again.
Think seeing the massive amount of orbs brings me more joy than all the people dying

Barbs damage deserves to be capped down. It might be a funny PvE joke you are joking here, but in PvP barbs are insane... Even more so rogues. Both needs to be brought down to earth.
@@andreychetvertakov4574 The only joke here, is the damage output from the barb when doing dungeons/bosses compared to EVERY other class. Who cares about pvp? It's not exactly a huge part of the game. It's an afterthought at best.
@@ulfg4692 Thank you for sharing your opinion. Unfortunately I am going to call it a limited perspective. Your opinion is similar to 95% of player base. Nobody actually tasked you specifically with solving this problem, hence I ask you to restrain projecting your fears for your beloved class onto this problem... I am sure dev team has more stats than you. I am glad you feel bad for barbs, but that doesn't justify anything.
PvP damage caps could only apply to PvP only (such as 200% crit cap already is) and PvE could remain as is. Of course you cannot come up with it through your horse blinders.... But no one is demanding that of you neither. I am sure they will fix your pve problems, but don't make me suffer in PvP because YOU are not aware of how game design could be...

I've played enough games to know that it's hard to make things work in both PVE and PVP at the same time, so it makes more sense to focus on one. And diablo as a franchise have always been PVE-focused, D4 is no exception if you look at the maps and the content. PVP seems like a last minute addition just to fill the void of lacking endgame.

1) have no idea how to solve the problem
2) have some delusion about "how challenging or how hard it is to solve
3) or even how helping pvp audience = hurting pve player base.
It literally takes almost no effort if they commit to it, it costs almost nothing, and very easy to implement silly damage caps equally.
If this is not a problem for you - don't speak of it, mind your own business. Thank you.
I love that melee classes chase you while in mist form, running into all of those corpse explosions.

Is it possible that you make also a video of a nm key 50-60 to show how this build run them?
If you took this build straight into NM it'd probably do okay up until the 70's but a bit slow relying only on bone spirit. In the lilith guide video at the end there's footage from completing an 80 but that's with a few build tweaks. Haven't had the time to flesh it out yet but it's very promising, may need to wait till next season though.

how do you spawn so many blood orbs, the setup you have i don't see any talent or aspect that odes it? Is it the tendrills skills blighted upgrade?

Yes, gore quills is an aspect added for the season and it makes blood builds actually viable because it consumes orbs from a distance, you no longer have to walk over them to receive benefits.
Bone Spirit is OP in all Diablo games. Nothing new there. What bothers me in a way is what may happen when you meet a thorns build? You instadie, if you don't have blood mist cooled down? Did you try that? Interested... Thanks!
its pvp you kill and get killed . you have to make a situation where you can win .
literaly nothing will happen when he meet thorns, this game is so badly designed that thorns barb have to pull monsters to trigger aoe thorns...

@@vest0levs tested in multiple scenarios with multiple character combinations, two other examples: HoTA barb gets no throrns dmg at all and melee hits from Rogue does nothing to him..
@@danm.6933 This sounds about right. Thorns is only for DIRECT damage.

I saw little to no Hota Barbs, or Druids in this video. Not to mention, the vast majority of the other players were 20 levels or more lower. What he's not showing of course are all the times he lost.

Nope, it,s fake, he standed for hours spamming blood wave being protected by other players, in te most used farming rute so he could do this false video and when he has hundreds of orbs he started the video and his Friends faked their death so he can presume over dumb players Who doesn,t know that they will never can do this in their game.

i was wondering if you were the random dude i saw in pvp area doing because i saw the uber lilith build and i thought it was just another player doing it and nope it was defintly you from this video. PS I was a random necromancer that wanted to pvp
How long did the others give you to spawn all those orbs, and why do they keep running into them?

@@Kryptiical Strange, the few times I've come across Necros, I could see them. Not to mention, the ghost things are pretty easy to evade.

@@Kryptiical Maybe I shouldn't, but I could. And anyway, the Ghost things are so slow, you'd have to race into a pile of them to get killed. Also notice, the vast majority of players are at least 20 levels lower? I'd like to see how this performs against a tricked out level 100 Barb.
@@Lonewanderer30 The ghosts move faster than most characters and will chase until they hit. The 2nd person killed is a lv 100 barb.

Yes, you now have like triple the tendrils casts so it's even faster and gore quills allows you to consume orbs without even walking near them.

unlikely, it requires tons of blood orbs. If you cant generate tons of orbs this build isnt that great
Yeah, you just use stuff like blood wave to generate a bunch of orbs. Very tedious.
Nah you would need some mobs to efficiently farm some orbs. Blood wave spamming in PvP wouldn't be worthwhile.

Takes a lot of time to set up all those orbs though
Get yourself a a few packs together and CT over and over. Don't have to kill them right away. Just use them to build up more Blood Orbs.
Will proper CDR gear (Helmet, Off-Hand, Amulet) and maybe some levels aswell, it should be around 5-6s cooldown. That's not all too bad.

Don't really have much choice unfortunately. Not sure if it's a region thing or not, but in OCE there's hardly anyone in the PvP zones.

I wasn't really running a build for it at the time, had a mix of darkness/bone stuff going. So long as there's enough blood orbs things will die anyway :) Main thing is having a Blood Artisan's Cuirass with a good roll for blood orbs on it.

Nerf incoming: blood orbs now last a max of 3 seconds.
I agree on a duration but idk if anyone would be happy with a 3 second duration. 6-8 ballpark would be a great idea though as a necro main.

Literally all players but 2 were 20-35 levels below ofc this would look strong now do comp of lvl 95+ only and lets see how it goes

where can I farm this unique, is it easy to drop?
farm anywhere in tier 4, its not easy to drop. I've had only 1 drop so far. (level 82)
@@evg3nius at lvl 80 I've had 3 drop (two 5's and a 6) yet zero of the uniques i actually need (mendeln, razorplate). Unique RNG in this game brings a tear to my eye

@@evg3nius main issue with minions in PvP is people will just target fire them down. Imagine a fully stacked thorns necro with minions and each takes 4 hits to kill. If they try to focus your minions down, even though each only gets 30-50% of your thorns, with twelve of them I imagine any twisted blades rogue/ice shards sorc/ww barb would insta kill themselves. I’m dying to try it

you actually know this video is planned, do you know how many orbs you get with a a blood wave? he had must spent hours making orbs, also he has no corpse aspect making orbs, and neither 3 blood wave. Even having it, pvp players wouldn´t allow him to stand there for hours making those orbs witouth killing him. The lilith uber spam needs to be a lot of time waiting 40 seconds each time to launch a single wave. So make the math.
