- Tiny nail beds? We hear you! Because we’re all different which also means our nail sizes are different. No matter what the design, you can’t change the size of your nail beds. But did you know that you can alter the size of the design so it can fit onto your nail? So today, this will be a “Can Tiana Even Shrink” Maniology LIVE kinda day - so are you ready for a demonstration?
STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS:
1. Place the squishy yellow stamper head onto the cap of a Maniology stamping polish bottle. (Make sure your polish bottle is completely closed.)
2. Using the clear stamper, pick up your stamping design.
3. Creating a circle with your index finger and thumb, gently press and hold the edges of your squishy yellow stamper head down over the polish bottle.
4. Transfer the design from your clear stamper onto the squishy yellow stamper head.
Release your grip from the squishy yellow stamper head. The design will shrink.
5. Carefully place the squishy yellow stamper head into the holder and stamp onto your nails.
TIPS:
1. Use Sticky Base Coat on your nails to make transferring your shrunken design easy.
2. Please note the handle is made with acrylic and will be permanently cloudy if it comes into contact with acetone.

Maniology LIVE! is a weekly video sesh with Devon and Tiana that encourages creativity and helps to breakdown the art of nail stamping. Sit back, relax and join us every Tuesday at 1:30pm HST. We can't wait to see you there. - Навчання та стиль
You could make a decal with designs with words to reorient the words to the right direction. Just stamp it on the silicone mat and coat with top coat, dry, peel, and apply.
That’s what I would probably do for all the stamps (need to see where I’m applying my stamp 🤣) great suggestion ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Maybe also you guys could look into special plates for short nails/ small mail beds! 😊
Totally! Thank you for your suggestion :)
Can you guys give us a Brush series. Like what brushes, are good for what type of stamps, as well as brush care. With some simple design. Dos and don'ts.
Great idea
wish it was a clear stamper not that yellow color
I would love for a way to shrink certain designs even more (or for certain designs to be smaller in general. For example, the broom on plate M152. It's just so big, but it's so cute!
Thanks for doing short natural nails. This is such a cool tool.
Glad you like it!
That was legit impressive I was like, how is she gonna shrink that image and like whoa that's cutting edge
I love this stamper. I can't wait to get it!
I just bought one and can’t wait to use it! Edit: works awesome as a monocle.
Hope you enjoy it!
WOW I HAD TRIED SHRINKING AN IMAGE A DIFFERENT WAY!! TY THIS TECHNIQUE WILL BE ALOT EASIER!!!
💙❣️💜💙❣️💜 learning all kinds of things and definitely getting the stamper
Great! Happy Stamping!
You guys had the right idea but you have to check out the Moyra Supersize Stamper! Can you guys make one? Your stamper isn’t clear, plus it’s hard to use, and if you apply to much pressure you will lose your stamper! 5:49 🙏🏻 come up with a similar design because I don’t think you can get it in the USA, Thank you!
Thank you for your feedback and suggestion 💞
Great going to buy one soon
⚘☔🌈🌞💖I got one as soon as it was up on the site and it sold out very quickly I love it but I haven't had time to try it out Been watching alot of videos about it tho lol TYSMFS
Wow very useful
I just got this stamper and look forward to learning to work on getting smaller designs for my nails.....
Good luck! Hope you enjoy it 💅
I was curious after you transfer the stamped design to the shrink stamp can you transfer it back to the clear stamp and still have a shrunk design? I’m new to this and very excited to get my first order of stamps
I was wondering the same thing
Hi my girl friend has a question once the design is transferred & shrunken on the marshmallow head; is thier a way to transfer it back to the clear stamping head for more accurate design placement on the nail?
Hmm i don't think it will transfer to the clear stamper because by that time the stamp will already be dry.. 🤔💭
💛
Can on words can't you paint a clear coat let it dry pull it off and reverse it back vs stamping it backwards use it to make a decal and apply it correctly as a decal?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Maniology should consider making the shrink stamp clear, so it is easier to place. Also, will reverse stamping work with the shrink stamp, since it has to sit for a while during the painting process?
Hello! We appreciate your suggestion and will certainly share it with our team. To achieve this effect, you can begin by reverse stamping the image in a stamper before transferring it to the shrinking stamper. It's essential to use a sticky base coat before stamping the reverse image for the best results.
💕💕💕💕
Two questions. When I placed my last order, I picked up the Big Gummy XL Round Opaque Stamper (since the item used in this video was not available) thinking I would be able to use it for the shrinking technique. I wasn't able to transfer the design to the Gummy Stamper. Any ideas? Am I not able to use that stamper in this manner? Also - do you have to put the stamper head back in the holder?
I was disappointed. The process can be done with any flexible stamper but having it in one is a cute idea. It does work.
The major problem for me is that the solid yellow stamper is the one I'm supposed to place on my nail, so I can't see the placement. It's pretty much worthless.
Put a clear head in smaller holder. So 3,2 in 2,8 holder. Stamp, take head out of holder and it’s shrinked . Stamp
I haven't tried this technique before, but could you stamp it back onto the clear stamper and then onto the nail? I think I need to experiment 🤔
The clear head is a regular stamper - it's not squishy enough to switch.
I haven't tried adding a third stamping. I imagine the polish would be dry. If anyone has any luck with that please let me know. But it's an unnecessary step. They could just make the squishy one clear.
@@gypsydonovan either that, or just make the shrunken image into a sticker (sorry, brain is mushed lol) which means everything is around the right way.
@@gypsydonovan Wouldn't pulling on a clear stamper tear it?
i am experiencing problems with the metallic polishes, they are not picking up properly, please advise what i can do to make them work.
can u buy other plates and how many nails comes with the kit. where do I buy them?
Thank you
my granddaughters wll love those xmas
🧡💚💜
Is there anyway for it to be less compressed so you don’t loose the details?
Hi Nina, you can try not to over-stretched the yellow stamper. :)
Can you please come up with a technique where reverse stamping can be used on gel polish
I've been able to reverse stamp on gel polish. After the second coat of color cures, I just stamp it on. Then no-wipe topcoat & another cure. I first tried experimenting w/ partially cured basecoat, but it was too wet. So I just tried doing it over cured color & it worked🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
What is the wand you are using to clean the design with cotton pad?
Hi it's the Maniology Pineapple Cotton Grabber, here's the link for the product on our website maniology.com/products/maniology-pineapple-cotton-grabber
Don't know if anyone else suggested this, but what if you just restamped it back on to the original stamper?
I went to go order one & they're all SOLD OUT already! 🙁
What are you using to clean the plate off with and can I purchase it?
Hi it's the Maniology Pineapple Cotton Grabber, here's the link for the product on our website maniology.com/products/maniology-pineapple-cotton-grabber
What would be a reason my yellow shrinking stamper will not take a design? I prepped it by washing with mild soap and water?
You can still shrink without using the double technique, that way it doesn't flip the words.
???? How
@@prplelf1 this video explains it well, although I still sometimes struggle to keep the images evenly shrunk on all sides
ua-cam.com/video/FlCfG8v8dAM/v-deo.html
@@prplelf1 I don't think she showed it in that video but you can also try squeezing a marshmallow stamper into a smaller handle, I've used a prescription bottle with some success. For that though it's best to have one of the opaque stampers because the clear silicone ones are more likely to tear
Could you pick it back up on the other stamper after it shrunk?
Hi there! The idea is to stamp the image to your nails after it's been shrunk, as the image may be too dry already if you will try to pick it up again with another stamper.
Do you sell that tool that grabs the cotton to clean the stamping plate?
Yes we do, it called the Pineapple Cotton Grabber: maniology.com/products/maniology-pineapple-cotton-grabber
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I just order it also
I’ve practically emptied the white paint bottle and I can’t get the image to stick to the yellow part. What am I doing wrong??
Hi Ines please email us at support@maniology.com so that we can assist you. Thank you!
I’m having problem with my stamper. It almost never sticks when I put the other stamper on it and when it does and I try shrinking the image is not clear. It use to work. I’ve tried cleaning it and I’ve tried keeping faced down on the tape. Please help me
Hi Nina! We recommend you to work on a room without any fan, and work more quickly. Make sure that the image on the clear stamper is not yet dry for it to transfer to the yellow stamper. It would really us troubleshoot for you if you can send us a video at support@maniology.com of how you're doing it so we can better assist you. :)
Is that a peacock?? What plate is that??
Can you just move the words a third time? A triple stamp so to speak before putting it on the nail?
My new stamper won't work
Hi Donna! We would love to help you troubleshoot! Let us know what type of issues you are having either by sending us a DM or email us at support@maniology.com so we can further assist you. Thanks!
make it a sticker and you can do words
music is too loud and terribly annoying
