The psychedelic jazz like speed solos are unique and have made me give up guitar a few times after live performances like this. My favorite Duarte performances were when he played with Junior Medlow. Really great psychedelic jazz rock soul at a place called Waves in Houston in the 1980s. Duarte looks great and sounds nasty!

我覺得聽他的吉他solo之後！後面沒有甚麼吉他手有甚麼再好的交待去solo了！因為音樂層級不在一個檔次！他是能實踐free jazz樂句的吉他手！這地球上我只看過他做到過！其他樂手彈的jazz樂句不是cool jazz ,bebop hardbop 和ㄧ些gypsy swing的jazz樂句！從沒彈到free jazz這麼深樂理的樂句
