Impressive restorative work. I have the utmost respect for such skilled craftsmanship. Vintage LV bags are classics, and worth every penny and minute of restoration. Take care of them - clean, condition the leather, to enjoy for years to come or resale.

Great to hear! A lot of people never appreciate the amount of time and effort gone into this type of work. It is very time consuming.
For all who say throw it out or it's old.....quit trolling. If your rich enough to buy them and throw them out I'll let you mail them to me. Probably just haters/trolls who have no clue what the bags are worth. And we dont care about your fashion sense. The video is about the repair which was great quality. even if you have the money, the good quality items deserve to be treasured or at least be mantained because of his historic, sentimental or any subjective value. good craftmanship is harder to find these days, another reason to keep them. sorry for bad english

Sweetie people are saying throw it out because it is expensive AF to repair it like this. The only reason to do so would be for sentimental value. IF you have the money you would be better off getting a new one. However getting it fixed does not mean you are poor as you have implied as it again IS NOT CHEAP TO REPAIR.

Do you always repair using the same stitch holes? I've been cobbling for a long time and when I need to use the same stitch divots I do it by hand bc no matter what setting I have my machine, going too slow seems to jam it and too fast skips the pattern I am intending to follow. Is it just the machine you use being of excellent quality or what's the secret?

Were in the USA can I have my pures fixed I have it sense 1990 . I live in Florida in Miami .the inside was dark suede brown now it seam like it's crumbling it like a Doctors large veliz. I sometimes use it with a scarf inside to not make it worse.Want to fix it

busybeeshoes i meant the top rim is lined in leather! i have the same bag and would love to have the liner replaced! its sticky, and gross! i bought it from an old lady and i can't get rid of the odor from it either! i think she had a cat who may have lived in the bag! its just awful! the inside is not usable, but the outside is ok!
