That is what you call perfecting your passion right there. He wouldn't be happy doing anything else. First time I've seen him. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks!
My mate Mike Cooper (genius slide guitarist) gave me tapes of Bob years ago and said, "check this guy out".. "He's great!"... Knowing what Mike can do, he had to be someone special.
Bob Brozman showed an understanding of music so far beyond superficial sound. I am gutted to hear of his death; a huge loss to humanity and culture. Ave atqe vale Bob Brozman, anarchist, anthropologist and musician.
This dude made some "more conventional" music if this is too high for you. But I think when you're vey good at something, you have sometime to do crazy, things, just not to be bored. Notice: when I try to listen some rap or modern r&b, I feel exactly the way you describe in your comment:) (And sorry for my bad english, they are not only americans on teh internet)

Brilliant.
David Taylor > He uses them all, or at least most of them ! I saw him perform about a year before he dies. He was electrifying, and so inspiring...
I had a chance to see him live, and even correspond with him a bit, and I just found out he was dead. Unbelievable. I don't know what to think.
How does it feel 8 years later?
