I have heard a lot of versions of this song, but this is my favorite version so far. I love this song so much, and I will keep listening to it over and over again. This is probably one of the heaviest versions of Valhalla Calling I have heard so far. This song is also one of the heaviest songs I have heard FEUERSCHWANZ put out there since I started listening to them. When I first started to get into Metal Music around the end of 2021, FEUERSCHWANZ was one of the first metal bands I ever listened to. I discovered them through Sea Shanties and haven't looked back since then.
They definitely went full Metal in this one, and I love it.
Excellent cover of an epic tale of Viking lore with an awesome solo added in. OK...chainmail, check...helmet, check...Shield, check...war axe, check...off to sack some abbeys and monasteries.
