Feuerschwanz (the German EU is pronounced like OY in boy) is a German Medieval/ Folk Metalband founded in 2004. They started as a parodie band to mock all thoses Folk Bands which took themself to serious (We have many Folk and Medieval Bands in Germany). In the last few years they turned into a more serious band (but they still produce funny songs) with epic songs and videos. They mostly sing in German, but they have a few english too like a cover from Warriors of the World unite from Manowar or Gimme Gimme Gimme from Abba (more of a silly one ;) ). They are releasing their first all english album in (i think in may) to celebrate their 20th anniversary and as a gift to their english speaking friends containing old german songs in english and a few new ones.
Great version - they're amazing (the pronunciation is "Foyerschwanz" 😉). Their "Highlander" is also awesome - in the german as well as in the english version. And their "Unholy Grail" collab, too. 🎶
Welcome to the Feuerschwanz Universe. 😉 Nice reaction. I will watch them live the second time within two... No, one month. First time in Hamburg 10.04.2024, second will be saturday 04.05.2024 in Cologne. I think, with their "new" Album they want to go more international. They did some of the old and actual stuff in english to show up for their heavily growing international community. 😊
I've listened to some other versions of Valhalla calling: Peyton Parrish, VoicePlay... I liked those too.✊🤘💪 But this version is truly epic. I really like it. Thanks for bringing it to your channel. Have a great day Brad. 😍🤗
I didn't think anyone would ever challenge Voiceplay's version as my favorite but dang I think this one just tied with Voiceplay for me! Awesome.
I love this band so much. Greetings from Germany
I completely agree. I heard many great versions of this song, but this is my favorite so far 🤘🔥
It's pronounced "Foy-er-shvunts". At least that's the best English written approximation I got. Hope it helps.

"Feuerschwanz" is german for "Firetail"
@@karinkrenn Feuerschwanz translates to Fire-tail or Fire-dick, the ambiguous double meaning is intended and interpretation is up to the listener

it takes some epic talent to change a sea shanty into a battle cry!
Well, at least you could try these in collaboration with Saltatio Mortis on warriors of the world united.
I can't believe you listened to this but not Saltatio Mortis ...pray to the hunter 😢😢😢
