The Acklay was also my favorite as a kid because it reminded me of one of my favorite sci-fi movies ever, Starship troopers. The sound and design reminded me of the arachnids and those are my absolute favorite creature designs ever. Have you seen Starship troopers?

I had the 30th Anniversary playset that came with all three of these guys. The Acklay in that set could have his limbs removed, and being a chaotic little boy, I tore off its limbs and wound up losing them overtime. Now the poor crocodile-crab just lays in my closet, limbless.
I love the ackley because battlefront 2 also but there's this star wars legends comic where luke died on hoth then han was in the rancor pit at jabba's palace but there was no rancor and it was 2 nexus so i love that one also and i kinda like the reek because his fight with jango fett

Nexu: You’re supposed to push its tongue to make the jaw close. It grows and makes attack noises when you do. Also, there’s a better acklay that has removable hands and a place to shove obiwan’s spear

Any Star Wars toys before 2013 are 100% going to be in the 3.75" scale. If it's in the 6" scale, it will always indicate "Black Series". There were a few Black Series 3.75" items tho, so look out for that!
