Two things I’d _almost_ forgotten: 1) Christian Cullen was the master of long distance tries and 2) Kronfeld was great at being there, on the shoulder, for that final pass. Great highlights. Thank you.
when he was a science teacher at kings high school we had this usa wrestling team come over to compete and he wrestled their coach and he ended up just spear tackling him another time he did the beep test and dude finished it he was a machine.
Great compilation thank you. Sad to realise how many of those great All Blacks are no longer with us!! RIP, and thank you for the joy you brought to us!!
I was at the Italy v NZ game in 87. First game of the World Cup. Sat in the West Stand, right in front of where JK scored this try. It was great to see him weaving down the field towards us.
Inga's try in the 1991 World Cup was sensational, just saying! That try in 92 was also a great team team. RIP Lomu nobody like him. The class of Cullen, the pace of Kirwan. Some great highlights
The way John Kirwin carved up that Italian side has always been the most awesome individual try for me but my favourite tries come from the Paekakariki Express. Christian Cullen is the silkiest player I've ever seen.
I was there for that game in 2017 in Durban…it was a dark day to be a bok supporter. But I was also there in 2018 in Wellington the next year when the Springboks won. The game that gave the current bok team the belief they needed. I love the AB’s but I think rugby’s become interesting again with all the teams in the top 7 being able to take it close or win it. Also good to see the AB supporters come back down to earth and not thinking they need to beat teams by 50, or it was a failure.
The Lomu era was exciting. His power and passion inspired a generation of players to get fit, big and step into the tackle with power. JK is still my favorite of all time though.
He is a legend but his opponents were little men, modern day wingers are build big like Jonah. Julian Savea has better stats and played in modern day competition.
@@jasonpepper2870 Julian is 6.3ft runs 100m in 11.8sec and not as strong or as skilled a Lomu.. lomu 6.5ft, has run 100m at 10.4(pr), holds the most 60m tries in the in rugby ... All Blacks the greatest rugby team of all time.. and have the best players to ever play the northern hemisphere teams try their hardest to down play how great the all blacks are but everyone knows who the greatest is.. and it won’t be long until they are the number one team again
NZ use to set the benchmark and NZ fans use to complain that they were getting bored of no other competition. Now other countries have either caught up or overtaken NZ.
Crap there ranked 3rd and were the last team to beat the hot irish who have like 5 kiwis playing for them. Too bad your team is trash for like the past 100 years whilst the all blacks havent been 1 for only 2 years 😂

Amazing how Lomu made his opponents look like amateurs. Truly a legend of the game !
They were all amateurs, until Lomu nearly went to league. He changed the whole sport.
Lomu scoring and assisting so many, what a legend
Yip, he wasn’t shy about offloads🏉
his passes were great. did not remember him being that good
Two things I’d _almost_ forgotten: 1) Christian Cullen was the master of long distance tries and 2) Kronfeld was great at being there, on the shoulder, for that final pass.
Great highlights. Thank you.
always thought Cullen was the best All Black, or maybe tanga
when he was a science teacher at kings high school we had this usa wrestling team come over to compete and he wrestled their coach and he ended up just spear tackling him another time he did the beep test and dude finished it he was a machine.
NZ vs SA are always the best games.
Wow Christian Cullen! Pure class!
The deadliest step ever
Paekak express
Cullen's solo effort at the HK 7's wasn't too bad, either.
best fullback ever? definitely at the time

Best individual try ever scored in rugby imo
If they did this for England, it would be the Chris Ashton try vs Australia and that's it... Every year the All Blacks are so dynamic in attack.
Not sure if they see it or just wing it. Our American tean would steal everything they did. And it always worked
Rugby is in Kiwis blood. It lives and breathes.
That Lamaupe try against France!
Dude was like a steam roller
Yeah dude, I was gutted the coaches didn't like him for some reason.
I remember Justin Marshall going "boomfa" on the replay!
@@We.dont.snitch.X same a real waste of talent.
ALL BLACKS FOREVER !!!!!!!!! ❤. Jona Lomu will always be missed!! RIP, champion !! We'll never forget you. You were a great man and a great human !!
1987 try was magical
Those old All Blacks teams were basically like World XVs
All Blacks are better than world XVs
“Were”
We beat them too

Great vid, they’re so insanely good, always on another level, sublime… it’s the incredible support, there’s always someone there on the shoulder
4:15 I just had to keep rewinding and watching again. What a pass!
Champagne rugby at its best 🍾
That's some physics at its best 👌🏻
My jaw dropped.
Wow that was an awesome trip down memory lane.
A few tries from the 2000s there I hadn't seen before, nice vid
The real Quad Cooper would’ve never given Ab’s a shred of praise, so i’m glad you are!

Hika Reid try at Ballymore against Australia was a beaut @1980. That would have been a good one to put in the highlights.
Outstanding!!!!!
For you brother jonah.
🤝🤝🤝 Rest easy bro.
Lioncane.
Love how its basically the Lomu show in the years he was active! 🐐
😂the team used to be sooo good. Let's hope they can be as good again. Lomu & Cullen are my favorite 😍 tries in this comp

The all blacks were waiting for the rest of the world to catch up to their level.
Paikakariki express was always a pleasure to watch... They don't make them like that anymore.
GRACIAS
EXCELENTE RECOPILACIÓN.
what a joy to watch
Damn how about the Lomu and Umaga combo🔥🔥 My favourite is Conrad Smith and Nonu.
As much i love the modern day boyz and A. Bs, lomu and cullen will never be matched or replicated. They were once in a century athletes
What a player Cullen was !!
Decades of passion
Missing Jeff Wilson
Brodie had some pace for a big man!
That Kirwan try though 👍
Christian Cullen and Lomu, wow.
And another talent on the other wing....GOLDIE....Jeff Wilson. What a trio.
l could watch Cullen scoring tries all day
This what we called as a quality rugby
Lol don’t know why the video quality dropped in 2011 the quality was hd 1080 back then
No long range tries scored in 1988, 1989 1990, 1993, 1994?
That man Lomu!!!
Always stay in support, back up the ball Carrier the ball will always beat the man. Do up your laces mate.
Surprised not to see much of Joe Rocokoco here
It is going to be very interesting to see how the AB's do RWC 2023?
This made me teary so many people have passed away and Im getting older

Can you imagine Fozzy with his 'Learning philosophy' with these blokes?
Why is Clarke on the thumbnail. Doesn’t deserve his place among the greats.
I was at that game at the end when JK got that try at Eden Park
Starting to get into rugby so here comes a possibly stupid question: how is 4:14 not a forward pass?
The pass is backwards out of the hand. Plus the camera angle is quite deceptive. Taken from ground level it would look fine.
2:12
Amazing pass but it goes forward at least 13 metres, how does that not get called.
Why does quality get so bad as we go not that far back??
The basic cause of "Baxk up in numbers'.
Bring on the 2023 rugby 🏉 world cup
2023 .. sadly Boks! Place money if you want, you heard it from me :(((
You missed beauden barrettes one against France
❤❤❤❤❤
Won't see ABs scoring tries like that today too much whistle 😂
...back to 1987 (which is pretty good)
Missing 93 and 94?
So many tries against Ireland😢😅 ah, we took a beating for over a century against the Kiwis.
Lomu Lomuing is just Lomuastic ! Lomu

The amount of forward passes is insane holy shit
6:00 is the only obvious forward pass.

Nah..should be - hope they win by 1000pts every game aaahhh!
