Of all the Create Mod modpacks I've played Star Technology offers a most addicting gameplay loop! Combining Skyblock, Gregtech, and Create Mod is a match made in ADHD heaven. We'll be inventing insane machines in order to progress through the tiers of circuits and tech that this pack has to offer! In addition to Create and Gregtech we get to play with the Thermal Series, Ex Nihilo, and so much more! Come join the automation, insanity, and fun as I play through Star Technology one of the first modern Gregtech packs! It's no Minecraft 1.21 but it sure will be a Tricky Trial ;)

Full Sail University offers game development courses too. Plus, they don't have a GPA requirement for their undergraduate degrees. You are required to at least have a GED or high school diploma. I spoke with them yesterday and got recommended to go there. To get your bachelor's degree, it takes anywhere from 22-27 months to complete it and does not require any classes like English, History, and all of that.
Uninteligent :(
@@got5ht you shouldnt say your age online
No, I don't think I will go to that sponsor.
So should I get the modpack...
I see so many people doing this, but I swear I never see anyone actually aware of this feature, but the more arboreal extractors you have on a tree, the slower they operate. A single one operates once every 500 ticks, 2 operate every 750 ticks, and 3 or more operate every 1000 ticks. So basically, having 8 on the same tree is the same speed as growing 4 separate trees and tapping each one with a single extractor
I did not know this. tbh Thermal I dont recall having a good wiki/documentation for, so i'm not surprise people dont' know this
Is there a difference between a 2x2 Tree and a 1x1 Tree as well?
@ArgoDevilian no difference, just has to be a naturally grown tree
Is that for all of them to operate? If so, 2 extractors taking 750 ticks produces as much as 1 in 375 ticks which is a good bit faster, and if it maxes out at 1000 ticks, then theoretically wouldn't 1000 extractors be going as fast as 1 every tick? :p
@@Aergius each of them takes that amount of time to operate
if youre talking per extractor it is slower but per tree its faster and personally i care more about space than the pretty cheap extractors
When I played the pack, I made the Create biodiesel to power a array of pistons (in the end, about 60). I used two GT farms to produce the ingredients necessary (that don't require power and make a LOT of output). I think I used potatoes for the ethanol and sugarcane for the sugar. I had some diverted to make bonemeal. I can't recall how I made the seed oil. I used LaserIO to move things around. It worked infinitely (keep those chunks loaded!) and produced all the power we needed until early mid-game. For the entire processing line, I made a small, dedicated vertical windmill.
Bonus note: You can add a regular size waterwheel to a line of the large waterwheel, and it will double the rotation speed.
i think he made a short including the tip at the end idk why he didn't do it
where did you find the modpack tho?
@@thetexturepackcell This is "Star Technology." I found it on Curseforge. There's a link in the video description.
It's on Curse
How Is the pack Called?
gregtech and farmers delight are very similar mods. they both add delicious morsels to munch with varying levels of complexity to make
I love me some uranium
💀
mmm sulfuric acid
Bro got blue comment
I remember spending like 100 hours trying to beat this modpack before quiting because doing gregtech with adhd is literally impossible
I feel that
you can you are just playing the game on ultra difficulty
I have that for Factorio, never tried gregtech but both look pretty similar.
I don't know if I have ADHD or not but I wasn't able to complete that game either way as well, what's ultimately working for me now is to go slow at it, make small factories, do blueprints and stuff, just theory craft first before trying it out on the actual world stuff like that (not fully applicable to gregtech but similar) and take frequent breaks.
So yeah, I'd recommend going slow, going at your own pace and doing like 30min - 2 hours per day if you have the free time to go at it instead of the usual 6h I did before becoming burnt out. Build a small process for something you need now, finish the automation, and then play something else or take a break and then come back whenever you want to, have been going straight for 3 weeks now.
(Oddly this advice also works for hobbies and things like gym, exercise or studying, go slowly at your own rhythm and don't compare yourself to the rest)
@@shroomer3867 going slow and at your own pace is literally the part that’s not adhd friendly lol
gregtech is like a drug to people with adhd, i’m in like at least 250 hours but the fusion burnout js kinda crazy
Some stuff you could have done for faster/better early game progression
1. Use glass duplication early game(xtone tile->glaxx then wash it)
2. Get the kinetic mixer at LV, rather than MV, its just better than the normal mixer in most cases, and doesn't need circuits
3. Hydrochloric acid is a byproduct of sodium persulfate, and you could use it to etch circuits at double efficiency with iron III chloride
4. Use coins, the shop is really useful if you use it properly
5. Pipez pipes are probably better than create pipes, as work passively and can be upgraded
6. You can enchant meshes in the shop(for coins) or with enchant table, level 30 enchants can easily be farmed with xp bottle energizer recipe
7. Switching to steel/aluminum fluid cells for fluid transport is probably better than wooden barrels, and they add a nice QOL upgrade with visual indicators of the fluid they hold
8. You could also have rushed the electrico-kinetic ore factory after the EBF for more resource gains, and overclocking could also reduce waiting time
also, the steam machines. i have no clue why he never uses the steam machines, but the alloy smelter makes glass way easier with molds, forge hammer gives cheaper plates prior to the LV bender, and you can use the steam from those machines to make a fair bit of power in early game.
@@kasyu1101 He probably didn’t use steam because it takes a bit of time and resources to set up, and he was probably busy rushing ae2. Steam machines are definitely worth the investment, especially the alloy smelter, macerator(for firebricks) and forge hammer. Steam turbines also give a byproduct of distilled water.
pipez are horrendous when spammed def should transition as soon as possibile
@@AlexanderGu-p8g i bet you are fun at parties
I wanna give a mild correction: single block machines *can* overclock but can only take 1 amp of their voltage tier, this means you can use an mv machine to craft lv recipes twice as fast for example. It's technically called "tierskipping" when you run a multiblock at a voltage tier higher than the one you are at
Also I have no idea if i missed it or not but the mv extruder is the greatest machine to ever exist and can craft gears, bolts, rings, etc.. directly which saves a lot of time (unfortunately not pumps but it makes the recipe 20x easier!) also you should be able to use a bending machine to turn sticky resin into rubber 1:1
gtnh might have rotted my brain because the explanations for long recipe chains were short to me.. gtnh platline moment
yeah I just didn't end up making the extruder for this episode since it was a rush, also thanks for the wording correction I'm glad what I mean is still understandable
I always forget about the extruder. Truly a baller machine.
@@joshument i have to agree he starts talking about how this so complicated to make but then it like he just stops not like he is not talking but that i am expecting several minutes of explanation but then it like 20 seconds and it feels wrong to me. maybe i play gregtech too much
@@joshument sticky resin to rubber a compressor recipe iirc but this pack could be different! GTCEu things
can i just say that i appreciate it so much that dejojo puts subtitles on his videos? makes it so much easier to follow along with whats happening
I literally started playing this modpack like 2 days ago because I stumbled upon your old videos.
This is gonna be great.
@@abbenylund Hey, can you tell me what this modpack is called? I am really confused, there are so many different versions in regards to a GregTech based Skyblock Modpack and I did not see anyone dropping the actual name of the one he is using in the video.
@@acidpng check the description
It'd be fun if you showed the playtime at the end of every video
I think this one was 24 hours on the dot nearly
@@dejojotheawsome Damn that's pretty quick. I started for the first time star technology after seeing this video and and i'm only at the beginning of the industrial revolution and it took me 1 day and a half of playtime
I don't usually like videos that have commentary over them, I like it more when it's live commentary but you commentate in such a fun way. I love it 😄Just earned a new sub❤
Bro got sponsored by a uni
I've discovered it in another pack but deployers are fully capable to automate sifting. Just put them interaracting with the middle of the 5x5.
I'm glad the algorithm sent me here! I love your style of narration.
Keep up the good work! I'll be sure to keep around!
Quick tip: gregtech multiblocks can share sides, so if you had your EBFs side sharing you wouldn't have needed that many coils.
I remember watching the first let's play you did of this modpack and having no clue what you were talking about. Then I started playing the modpack myself and now, about 200 in-game hours later I understand all of it. This is amazing!
(it is very addicting btw)
welcome back!!!! cant wait to see your sanity dwindle (and convince myself whether or not to play startech...)
Thaaaank you ford! It's a fun pack genuinely
@@dejojotheawsome You got me into it, juuuuust working on getting the basic gregtech tools right now!!

I've never been one for the create mod/gregtech, but you got me hooked into it immediately! I might have to give the modpack a try!
I have been WAITING for this! Please don't quit after MV cause there's no more create after that lol. Love your vids!

My new favorite Minecraft Tech Mods Channel, this was so Fun to watch and Well Edited holy cow! :D
Awwww 29:26 are they that bad? From experience it makes for some cool builds and design that make more sense tbh :P
This funny how this modpack completly ignore the laws of thermodynamic that say that nothing can't be created not deleted, just modified... You literaly need to make huge, complex factories, and everything is coming from one damn tree
Minecraft already completely ignores thermodynamics, physics, and more, considering a cactus with a couple spines is enough to obliterate a highly durable gold-steel(?) alloy literally infused with self-repairing magic
@@gigoat_chad_boi you could explain some of it as trees accumulating material from the atmosphere
Hasn't that law been broken to some extent like nearly a decade ago?
@@DoodleDan no lmao (at least not in principle, with some dark energy shenanigans maybe)
Quite literally theres a method to generate stone out of thin air, and water, and wood etc etc.
nice to see more StarT, great video, and look forward to Delta being out soon :)
I am big addicted to this pack again
20:12 "circuit ass" LMAO
YES OMFG IM ROFL AS WE SPEAK
As a Sophomore student in school and in Electronics (and a Minecraft nerd too), I know exactly what you're talking about when it comes to Minecraft *AND* Electrical components.
watched this for what seemed like fucking forever. paused to take a piss and it has been EIGHT (8) MINUTES. your videos are insanely good my guy. perhaps invest in subtitles at some point? only saying that since i have an audio processing disorder and it makes taking in alot of information very quickly alot easier lol. nonetheless i love the video!!!
That is a very very good idea,,,,,,, 👀
Added proper closed captions! Hopefully I can get the next episodes done before it goes live :)

So happy to see you slowly turn from a create player to a gregtech one :3
The Gregification process is transforming him into a greater being
watching this was like getting classrooms mixed up and attending a phd-level college course as a freshman
This is just the plot of Dr. Stone
I learned so much through this video that I'm itching for a full series on it
I have spent the last 9 days mesmerized by this video. I've had it on loop to listen to throughout the day and to sleep to. Something about it is hypnotizing.
I need part 2 so I can loop them together and sleep peacfully.
thank you for coming back to this pack! I've been hoping to see you hop back on this!
i've waited so long for this, let's go mr. awsome!!!!
Honestly me too Star Tech is a good time
I had no clue what was happeing till you got to the ae2 part. 10/10
You're glass rant is just my whole experience doing GTNH. God DAMN is it brutal.
Nice, now that the most addicting modpack is back, my withdrawal symptoms are lessening! Thanks, Dejojo!
I never understood anything that was going on in this video, but it was very entertaining to watch... earned my sub
That colossal chests mod is definitely going to be one i install from now on, as a fan of massive chests
I am SO gonna watch this later. Commenting so that UA-cam throws me more of your stuff. :D
One of the first respectable sponsors ive seen
I don't normally put comments on videos but my god what a fantastic video. I really enjoyed the gameplay and the way you explained everything thank you what a fantastic watch. Also I subscribed as it was so well done. Keep up the good work can't wait till your next video!
Well, dang. Now i need to play. Thanks bud, havent played a modpack in forever. Hello gregtech
That fake end being exactly at 17:00 is _soooooo good!_
Glad this series is back!
Voltage and amperage are very easy to explain.
It’s just like a garden hose, voltage is the water pressure, amperage is the water that’s flowing out from the hose.
just a tip, use a campfire instead of a torch when melting cobblestone. it changes the heat from 1 to 4 making it ALOT faster
Lost you at about 15 minutes but absolutely fire video 😂
0:33 dawn of the first age
Resently found this channel, and I've been loving it.
Keep up the good work
I really didn’t expect a university from my state of all places to be a sponsor in this video
Dejojotheawsome for the love of dopamine and all things holy please continue this series.
Please continue this series!
This is my first time dipping my toes in these type of modpacks and I'm not going any deeper. I already know I'd get completely addicted.
The explanation as to why multiblocks can be overclocked using 2 of a same energy tiered input hatch is because each hatch can accept a max of 2 apms worth of EU (LV is 32 EU which means an LV energy input hatch can handle 64) and 4 amps worth of a previous tier of power steps it up one power tier. Hense why multiblocks can be overclocked.
Me and a friend started this modpack a bit ago, and we've never messed with gregtech but we're at gold right now. Seeing this just makes me realize that we have a whole ahh Mt. Everest to climb even though i feel like we already climbed a mountain
@TheGuy45 this is a long shot but how did you play with friends? This modpack doesn't seem to let LAN servers show up
@natashawhite2320 we installed Essential, it let's you add friends and connect to their worlds. It also adds a lot of annoying unnecessary keybinds so unbind those.
What's the lan servers mod? I've been looking for it
This looks like my kind of ModPack. The more intellectually stimulating and challenging the game is, the better. As long as it doesn’t make it harder, though (harder in the sense of difficulty not complexity)
i personally am addicted to minecraft tech mods i like played almost all of them so thanks for showing me the modpack ill start playing it myself soon ;3
Could be more interesting as a serie... But this man is crazy! I love that he's having fun doing this!
you know the modpack is more addictive than crack when it takes 8 minutes of rapid-fire explanations before getting to cobble processing
Star Technology’s greatest feature is that it makes the normal finite resources of minecraft infinite as long as you have dedication and a little bit of ingenuity. Honestly this video shows why it is one of my favourites
this is ex nihilo. you can find this in almost any skyblock-like pack. stoneblock 1 and two have it and stoneblock 3 has it even easier with create, (I love this pack too tho its not not from this pack)
2:16 Oh nice! A peaceful mode modpack!
27:08
Thanks, it really helped me understand! I just had to slow the video to 0.07 so I could read it.
"we will have a StRaNgE Ingots and Substance's"
Also me with Walter White's theme in head: Ryan, We have to cook, Ryan. We need to cook
I love how the video started with negative 100 sanity
Waterwheel in create get more efficient the more flowing water is arount them. Make sure you have the water flowing from te top down the sides and in opposite direction the bottom along. This will get you almost the maximum of stress units.
That isn't the case anymore, that was removed a while back, now a single point of contact is enough for full stress output.
the worst thing about gregtech videos like this is when you see it was posted a week ago, you know you will have to wait at least 8 months until the creator processes all the trauma of playing this mod to try to make another vid
You were not wrong about addictive I started at 9pm and next thing I know it’s 4:30am
omg it feels like im watching a dr stone episode
loved it
"As you may have guessed cupernickel is made with copper and nickel" no based of how you say it I wouldn't id think it's made of cups and SEA LIFE
I needed a new series to follow, lets GO
Conservation of matter and energy when skyblock:
Thing is glass was already gregified by the base Gregtech mod. They just made it so you could access it without having to go through the steam age to make a mold using steel to turn glass dust into glass the normal Gregtech way.
you have toms, just use a storage interface from ae2 and an inventory connecter from toms. you can connect like 20 chests to the inventory connecter and then use the storage interface to connect the inventory connecter to ae2
@dominickbryant851 the biggest problem with Tom's if some nbt bugs when you request to use a tool in crafting recipe it bugs out and it won't let you auto request it plus you also have possibility of loosing all your items if you break the wrong block. (I speak from expirence and I was in iv) 😐
Anyway, seeing Create and GT merged into one modpack just feels right. I’ve played a decent amount of Nomifactory and some Forever Factory, maybe I’ll give this pack a shot.
this mod pack is the minecraft equivalent of that American dad scene where stan gets promoted and pulls out a poster that has all the positions on his branch of the government and is like "*Gasp*! I moved up 1/8th of an inch!" with the most giddy exprestion
glad i found this
i originally only played sky factory series
ME stands for Matter Energy? I've never heard someone call it that. Using its full name like it's in trouble dang.
MATTER ENERGY! YOU GET DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!
I have forbidden knowledge
Yeah its a matter to energy system
4:47 instead of using campfires, you can craft stoves from Farmers Delight which can smelt 6 items at once as oppose to the campfire's 4 to make the raw iron and later the glass production faster.
Being sponsored by a university is crazy, congrats man!
Cupronickel thinks the sun revolves around the Earth. Copernickel has a revolutionary thesis that proves the sun is a fixed body in our solar system. Checkmate, Linguists.

Eventho, I practically don’t understand anything, i still enjoy watching this 😂😂🎉
Avaritia Gregtech Skyblock sounds like next level torture
I wasn't going to say anything but since you told me to...
There are 2 ways to say cupronickel, one if you're normal and one if you're british, and you chose neither.
If you're british, it's COO-per-nickel
If you're everyone else, it's QUE-per-nickel
You went with kuh-PERnical.
Not only is this wrong, this is in fact an entirely different word referring to one of two possible things: The Copernican shift, which in simple terms is the paradigm shift from earth-centric celestial models to heliocentric models (going from earth as the center to the sun as the center, trailblazed by Copernicus), or copernical, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to showing off cool space stuff.
You're not just wrong on how to say "cupronickel", you're saying an entirely different word.
That came across as more stand-off-ish than I intended I love your content even if you say the words wrong
Absolutely love this series
I have no idea what I just watched, understood none of it. But sure did love it.❤
I did not understand anything that was said/done in the video but it was still entertaining enough to keep watching
One of these days I’ll do one of these Greg esc packs to force myself to automate
Is it just more or does this video remind anyone of the anime Dr.Stone?
2:53 having never played any modpack in years trying to follow this logic, while playing it myself.
