I used to make videos: cubes with spherical stones. But that technique requires high precision, so I made this video, with a simpler technique, but it didn't have the rigidity of that technique.

However, with this technique, you can do the same with other shapes by different combinations of number of jump rings
The length and diameter of the wire used depends on the size of the stone you have
Depending on the size of the product, you can use it as a pendant, necklaces, earrings, keychains, or decorations.
You can wear it close to your neck into a choker necklace
You can use any type of wire or wire size you have. Smaller diameter wires are easier to handle, but they are less durable than larger wires. The most suitable is a wire with a diameter of 0.9 - 1.2mm. Suitable for stones with a diameter of 0.8 - 1.5cm
The diameter of jump ring is about 20% smaller than the diameter of the stone, so that the cage is wrapped close to the stone, increasing the hardness of the product.

manipulation wrap the wire is difficult to see clear, so you can wrap as you like, Simply wrap the wire to connect together so not to be deformed during use
In the video I use :
jump ring 1cm diameter from the wire 1mm diameter
26 gauge ( wire diameter 0.4mm ) : 30cm( 12 inch)
Stone sphere 1.2cm in diameter

I used to round copper wire - magnet wire (type of wire not used to make jewelry, Its price is very cheap) . it's the only kind I found where I lived for many sizes. I do not know exactly what type it was, can be normal copper wire, it have plating layer, and not dark by time

Beautiful work! Do you think it's possible to do that technique with 7 beads? A friend of mine is looking for a pendant with 7 beads, that are about 8mm in size.
With this method I think only one stone should be used for one pendant.
If you want to use 7 stones at the same time you can refer to some other samples, and the stone must have holes.

Absolutely. You could certainly make multiple units and link them together with jump rings, or with the sort of bail that Lanh used here. They would move beautifully together.
You could also try building a cage like this but 7 beads tall, and drop all of the beads in at once. Just keep going up the four sides rather than put a top on, only doing that after you’ve put all the beads in. This would be a much more static option.

ornella kaf Have you looked in hardware stores? You should be able to find many sizes of copper wire there. They are *wonderful* places to find all kinds of things you can make jewelry and other objects with, and for many tools.
You can also Google for beading supplies, copper wire, etc. There must be *something* in Belgium or nearby.
There are also hundreds of vendors on both Etsy and eBay that sell beading supplies and wire.
Here in the US, you can order the most common sizes from vendors such as Fire Mountain Gems, RíoGrande, and many more, all of which have extensive websites.
Is this one easier to make than the first cube?
In my personal opinion it's easier.
You have 1 cm or 1 mm what size would it be on a ring mandrel
