Water Drop Pendant - Simple way to wrap stones without hole - How to make handmade jewelry from copper wire by Lan Anh Handmade
This method can be applied to almost all stone shapes (spherical stones, round, droplets, cabochons, etc.).
The length and diameter of wire used depends on the size of the stone you have.
Depending on the size of the product, you can use it as a pendant, earrings, keychains, or decorations.
You can use any type of wire or wire size you have. Smaller diameter wires are easier to handle, but they are less durable than larger wires. The most suitable is a wire with a diameter of 0.7 - 0.9mm
A little change (wire size, how to bend wire, how to stone beads combination) you will produce different products
For thick stones (eg, spherical stones), S-shaped motifs must be longer to bend, hug the stone
In the video I use :
19 gauge ( wire diameter 0,9mm ) : 10cm( 4 inch), 2 x 6cm( 2,5 inch)
28 gauge ( wire diameter 0.3mm ) : 100cm( 40 inch)
Round stone diameter of 1.5cm
TIPS :
- Before doing, Always be sure to straighten the wire for a more beautiful product
