I'm trying to make a shopping hand basket handle from ribbons of four different colors, so I am making a larks-head of each of the four ribbons around a carabiner (the post) and I now have 8 strands with 2 colors each -- this is the PERFECT braid for it, so that all four colors are visible, and makes for a lovely "ribbon' of colors when completed.
