I have a wire tree from Africa. It is very versatile dressed with wire beaded birds, hanging dragon flies etc through the year then switched out with relevant decorations for Christmas, Valentine, Easter .. and this year Halloween 😁👍

@@RedRockingBird I’d love to do a pumpkin like these for fall season. I love to dress up and do safe things at the church, like play games and get treats and supper. We are also doing a pie contest( bake-off) and homemade pickle contest. I’m going to be a social butterfly with velvet pants, fancy jacket, pearls and lots of jewelry. I’ve been; Mother Christmas, Bookfairy ( book wings and book pages all over my skirt), Snowflake Queen, Queen of Hearts, A country social butterfly, A blue n black butterfly, unicorn and just plain old me. 😝 lol 😂
@@margaretdillinger5090 absolutely wonderful, how I’d love to join in the fun. My favourite ‘Halloween’ wknd with the kids over the years was when we want to church and did lots of crafts and ate hot dogs, enjoy, sounds delightful 😊🎃🧡🍁🍂

Late coming in here but I don't like Hallowe'en either. Nor do I especially like Christmas/Yule to be honest. Or Easter.
What I dislike about them is that the real significance (be it pagan, Christian, seasonal or whatever) of these ancient festivals has been subsumed into a crass, and mass, _competition_ of conspicuous consumption of the most ugly, unhealthy and stressful type for so very many people. The stress from the bombardment of seasonal advertising must be immense for so many people.
Spending _time_ making your own (beautiful) gifts and decorations enables you to participate in these festivals - whatever their significance for you - in a much more mindful way, and your videos show this perfectly.
