Aris, have you noticed what's the behavior of the P12 PSUs when the Power Switch on the back is set to OFF? They seem not to disconnect the power from the main circuit and in fact there is a small and continuous current flowing through the LEDs and the USB ports. It looks like the P12 series are the only PSUs so far that have this odd design...

I have bad coil whine on my new Asus Strix 3080ti oc. Tried undervolting, capping fps to my monitors refresh rate, no difference. My evga 1080ti sc2 never had coil whine
Feeling sad today have just upgraded from a MSI RTX3050 to the new FE RTX4080 and to power my new RTX4080 I upgraded the PSU from a Corsair HX1000W to a new £400 Be Quiet Dark power pro 1500W PSU, I was loving DCS good soild quality images in VR when I was flying my gunship blowing things up and decided to run a training mission when suddenly the PC shuts down, so I hit the power on button and then a big loud bang from inside the PC I thought it was the RTX4080 that had gone bang, cos I was running it on high settings but no the new high end PSU had just blown up, it was running a i91200k liquid cooled 64Gigs of ram I just don't get it how can this be possible?
From what you are describing, the primary side went boom. Weird, because you couldn't have fully load it with your setup. I would love to hear what the RMA verdict will be, what caused this, if they will ever share it with you of course.

Θέλω να sleevarw τα καλώδια άλλα παρατηρώ ότι υπάρχουν 3 capasitors στο 24 pin atx έχει να κάνει με ripple και noise. Επειδή έχω αγοράσει καλώδιο θα πρέπει να τα ξαναβάλω η έχει να κάνει με το είδος του καλωδίου 16 η 18 awg πχ ΣΑΣ ευχαριστώ εκ των προτέρων και χαιρετίσματα από Βόλο!
Καλησπέρα Θάνο, κοίτα αν δεν τα βάλεις απλά θα έχεις λίγο παραπάνω ripple στα rails. Δεν χάλασε και ο κόσμος. Δεν κάνουν και την τρομερή διαφορά. Από την άλλη, αν μπορείς να τα βάλεις πάνω και δεν σου χαλάει την εμφάνιση, πολύ, για καλό θα είναι.
Αρη καποιο καταστημα το εχει βγαλει προσφορα σημερα 24/2/2023 στα 143 ευρω. Το ξερω οτι ειναι overkill για το συστημα μου αλλα οι τιμες των psu ειναι στο θεο αυτον τον καιρο. Προτεινεις να το αγορασω ή να παρω ενα 750w στα ιδια λεφτα για το συστημα μου? Ευχαριστω

@@11110111110 thank you for the quick reply man! Did you even bother wiring that switch that is mounted on a pci slot cover? I have a feeling the usage of that switch is probably related to many of the bad reviews (although only one i read provided pictures of that cable melted and mentioned it in the review)

Καλησπέρα και χρόνια πολλά,έχω το ίδιο τροφοδοτικό σε μέτρηση με Psu tester συνδέω 24πινο και 8πινο ας πούμε κ κάνει συνέχεια μπιπ μπιπ μπιπ,το ίδιο τεστερ σε ένα cougar 750 bronze διαβάζει κ σταματάει το μπιπ,σε μετρήσεις με πολύ μέτρο όλα φενονται κανονικά.Υπάρχει στο 24πινο ένα καλώδιο τσαλακωμένο σαν να είναι η μόνωση στραβοχυμενη κάπως,δν είναι κομμένο το τσέκαρα….Τι παίζει τώρα με αυτό?

To be frank I haven't noticed this. I can check it by taking vampire power measurements with the power switch off.

2x 3090s along with a 12900K or a similar energy-hungry CPU will be challenging. See if you can find a Super Flower 2000W unit, or an EVGA 1600 T6.

It still works yes, but I don't have it installed on a system. Once the tests had finished, I put it on storage.
I own the 1.5kW version and it works without issues for about 5 months now, what are people complaining about on amazon?

@@WespectRamen I still use it, works without issue and is very silent, every two months I clean it with compressed air and thats it.
