Cause they are singing broadway/live version of it. The soundtrack only uses "5 more minutes" but if you have seen the show (yes even with the original west end cast), they sing "3 more minutes" on the last chorus

People who compare new casts to the original casts always make me annoyed, NO this is NOT THE SAME, that does not give you a free pass to diss them, compare and enjoy their different nuances that they bring to the character, but just don’t try to bring them down to lift up the other cast. This is pretty much a very nasty issue with the whole theatre community overall, appreciate the different interpretations from different actors because that’s what makes theatre special
Yes! This! I saw a Q&A with this cast and the women were picked for their roles for a reason. The creative team is more looking for a portrayal of the stories, not for the ladies to be the queens exactly. They want their personalities to show and add to the story telling!
What I love about each of these Broadway queens: Aragon: Everything Boleyn: Everything Seymour: Everything Cleves: Everything Howard: Everything Parr: Everything But seriously, Howard is so CUTE and Parr's voice gives me chills and Cleves is so powerful and Aragon is so good at engaging the audience and Boleyn pours so much energy into the role and Seymour just keeps going after "rude!" And tbh, I love them just as much as Jaye'J, Millie, Natalie, Lexi, Aimie and Maiya

Unpopular Opinion: I honestly am beginning to like this Cleves version a little bit better than on the West End. I don’t know, in comparing how she adapted the song verse the original, I was just generally more entertained. Like 8:02 and 9:07 had me entirely too shook!
At 9:09 you can see Jane smile when Cleves does that growley part. I’ve seen her do that for different queens when they do super cool things vocally and it warms my heart
It does make sense cause after SIX she spent some time vocal coaching and personally as a tutor seeing people younger then me succeed in something there passionate about whether there my student or not warms my heart and gives me a similar smile but I’m not sure what she did before that

In the song "Ex-wives/Six", I feel as if they were holding back. I don't know if it was them or the sound engineer, but their vocal mix was not the best. It sounded like someone was screaming. On another note, Cleves killed it!

This musical is so amazing. I mean, the writers are giving a bunch of information about the past while being extremely entertaining, and "Get Down" really made me interested in learning more about her past.

This musical is so amazing. I mean, the writers are giving a bunch of information about the past while being extremely entertaining, and "Get Down" really made me interested in learning more about her past.
