    Today's word of the day is 'stonking'. Stonking is a noun which is usually used before a noun.
    It is a slang word used in British English. It means extremely large or impressive.
    It first appeared in British English in the 1980s.
    Some example sentences are:
    ‘He landed a stonking job in the city with a fantastic salary.’
    ‘They live in a stonking big house with ten bedrooms and a swimming pool.’
    ‘The match ended with a stonking 6-0 victory for Palace against a poor Chelsea side.’
