Love the builds you do, I love the quicklys as well I’ve had 2 of them, wished I never sold them, now on the look for one, don’t even mind if it needs works or in bits all I need is frame, forks, wheels, engine, it’s just hard in the uk, plus going up in price keep looking on eBay, lol but still love the way you build them, I want to do a quickly bobber, just finding it all,
Yes they can be pricy here too. A lot more available in the UK though. I have loads of them but since Brexit it would cost you a fortune to import from Ireland . You should be able to pick one up in UK for under £300
@@tomcahill8506 yes I agree but when I’m looking on eBay etc as I have ill health I can’t travel far, and will not send it through dilvery etc all I need is frame, forks, wheels etc or Evan a poorly one I can do up,
Cool bike! God job! I live in Sweden, and have a nsu quickly -57, can i Ask where you by spareparts from. I need igintionsparts, and last chain cover, and spokes to front Wheel. Etc.👍
Great vid Tom. Similar to my 1956 NSU that your engine building vids help me build. I get great comments everywhere I go on it. Might upset a few purists but thats ok!
Hi Tom, as a recent Quickly purchaser ( I live in Bangor in the North) my 1962 S23/2 has turned into an exercise bike!😅. New primary coil, condenser & points plus help from a very experienced motorcycle enthusiast friend and it just will not go. Can you help or point me in the right direction of someone who can, regards Tom Eddis.
Hi Tom, You have done everything that would be expected on the Dynamo. Are you getting spark on the coil and points?. You must be if you had an experienced guy look at it. The only other reason is fuel ⛽. 25/1- 32/1 mix. I have had bikes 50+ years old and they started pretty quick. I'm not a mechanic as I say on my videos and normally have to take the bikes to someone to get them started. A problem on a recent one was air leaking out under the top head. Try contacting NSU Quickly spares in UK. They seem to know everything about the engines as they provide service of engines. Is carburetor ok?. Is the plug getting wet that it's getting fuel to the spark?.
Nice Job Tom 👍
