    I really loved how basic this was, thank you. I've recently been training in popping and I can already see that I throw my arms because I get so excited in wanting to pop harder. I need to relax lol. It would be nice to see/learn a few basic leg work! Thank you for this video, I appreciate this!

    I've been doing bodybuilding 2 years ago before the pandemic happened and I made quite a progress during so. I'm a complete beginner but not new to popping. I can tense on command but I think the relaxing is way more harder. Is this normal? lol thank you so much for this vid tho. The best tutorial I've seen.

    • @Nustudios
      @Nustudios  2 роки тому +2

      Hello Dee, glad to hear that you are popping now. I agree with you that relaxing is way harder than flexing. The more you practice it, the easier it gets; it's just like anything you do. At this point, you will just have to trust that the more you practice relaxing, the easier it becomes. Keep it up and i'll see you at the top.

    Hi! I have a question, I'm pretty skinny and my arms are a little weak. Could this make it more difficult for me to pop my arms? If I build more arm strength could my pop look better? I can pop with my chest pretty easily.

    • @Nustudios
      @Nustudios  3 роки тому +1

      the size of your muscle doesn't matter. but the speed of how quickly your flex and relax is important. I created these tutorial videos to help dancers to train their muscle control. you have to train your muscle to react to the music. that's how you will be better in popping.

    What’s the difference between hitting and popping? I saw an ig video of popin Pete training his students to pop instead of hit. He kept saying “we’re not hitting! We’re popping! Pop! Pop!” Thanks for the feedback

    • @DeathlyDiJ
      @DeathlyDiJ 5 років тому +2

      they are the same thing. though everyone interprets words in their own way a little bit.
      maybe hes afraid of beginners hitting an imaginary wall (throwing their arms while popping) when he talks about hitting.

    How much do you guys recommend to practice these? Like once a day? And how much time to repeat the sets?
    I wanna improve at popping because I'm really enjoying my classes, but I'm missing out on freestyle (I feel like) because of my pops being to weak.

    • @Nustudios
      @Nustudios  3 роки тому +1

      yannick, if you really want to be great at popping, i recommend finding a group of friends that also likes to pop. it's much easier when you can dance with friends. friends will help motivate you to keep you excited. a wise man once said, "if you want to go fast, you go by yourself, but if you want to go far, you go together." i hope that helps. keep me updated with your progress.

      @@Nustudios Hi nustudio! I’m currently in a dancegroup! It helps a lot being surrounded by other great poppers. But just for this exercise should i best do it daily? Or 3 times a week?

    • @Nustudios
      @Nustudios  3 роки тому +2

      When I first started to take popping seriously, I would train daily for months. But you should what is comfortable for you. Push yourself but don't over do because you should always keep it fun.

    When I popped my arms, my arms started to hurt and it only popped a little. Also, instead my arm popped, my breast is the one its popping xD
    Is it normal?
    Am I doing it right?
    Sorry for my grammatical mistakes.

    • @Nustudios
      @Nustudios  4 роки тому +1

      When you train your arms, you will feel soreness. If you are sore, then it is normal. But if you hurting from something else, you should check with your doctor. If your chest is popping when you are training your arms, that could mean that you are popping your chest without control. It is impossible to guess exactly what your are doing without seeing you actuality doing it. But I hope my feedback was somehow helpful.
