Can't wait to test it out! It seems the video has mirroring? I dont know if you are using two different cameras but in one shot it looks like your strong leg is the right and in the other shot it looks mirrored and seems like your left.
Amazing tutorial, I have looked at all blading youtubers who make tutorials and among them I feel like you're the best! It would be cool if you would also mention where to put your weight when your doing this(on what weel, heel, toe, on both 50/50 80/20 etc) And then I looked at your channel and saw you have very few videos? I thought you were a pro 😅 haha, great start! Can you make tutorials like this for other stops as well? Like for hockey/parallel stop, soul slide, magic slide etc? Your tutorials really help a TON! Love you man ❤ Edit: Nvm, I saw the shorts and they are great, but I feel like it's harder to find them as shorts, you could make a single video teaching all the different stop methods!
Thank you so much for the feedback 🙏🏽 I appreciate you. I’ve recently started to make longer form content hence why I don’t have many videos. So far you can find another Power Stop/Hockey Stop tutorial. I will definitely make one video for every stop 🫡! So for the the Power Slide, you want slightly more weight on the back skate around the ball of your foot and toes (40/60) and the front skate you push with your heel
I actually bought 90a wheels cause I wasn’t really sliding on my 85a wheels. I’ve been practicing these for a month now and haven’t slid, all I’ve done is cooler rotating stop movement
@@rollerbearding well today I got the wheels installed, skated at my local park on pavement, then went over to the tennis court cause the ground was smoother . These 90a wheels feel more grippy than my 85a wheels but sadly no sliding happened , felt like I got closer when I got lower. Maybe it is the surface? I feel like if I had someone coaching me in person I would have a better chance at getting it , maybe I’m doing something wrong
@@Neptune8 really I’m surprised they feel grippy! It could also be the material.. also try on another surface 🙌🏽 I’m sure you got this! Try lower position again and pushing with your heel on the front skate. Definitely having someone to coach you would help!
I love your way of breaking down techniques in multiple easy steps. However I'm not sure to understand the step 4 about the hip twist. I don't see a difference with step 3 for instance. Can you maybe elaborate a bit more please? :) Also quick question: how should I balance my weight (like, what percentage on each leg, roughly)
I usually have anti rockered aggressive skates, and do the T stop. Do you recommend powerslides on aggressive skates? It seems a bit harder due to the flatness of the wheels
I have 2 Hours in my life on my rollerblades i learned this first time in 10 min! Good job…i really learned from watching allot!
That's super amazing! Good job and I'm proud of you. It requires talent to learn that fast

Have you tried to practice on a different surface? Also try to get lower! The lower you are the easier it is to break friction

Soul slide please!!

would it be good to practice at a roller rink with hardwood?
Yes that works but you’ll need hard wheels (85A and up) to not grip too much on the floor and also be very low on the lunge position
@@rollerbearding thank you for the advice!

From skiing stance to snowboard stance!
Is 80a great
@@Sayh628 they are too soft! I recommend 85A and up
