I've said it before and I'll say it again, Croatia should be very proud of these two. No matter what they play, classical or modern, they are so talented.❤
8 years later, this is still my favorite version. They don't just play the Cello, they become the Cello and the music that comes from within it.

This is exactly it when it comes to these guys. Every song they and their cellos are one. Watching their faces contort as they play the notes... that is their true power, that they are one with their instrument. Fascinating even nearly a decade later!

I have been many places but Croatia has a special place in my heart.
Croatian people are the most friendly people I have met. The scenery is out of this world and the Croatian people are so proud of there beautiful country.
Can't wait to be back there. Plus it would be amazing to see the 2cellos play in there own country.

Beautiful music. The place is Plitvice lakes. That and Vis island and Dubrovnik ancient city are 3 must see places in Croatia (however there are many more). My homeland, so sad and beautiful, on the border of the Eastern and Western Roman Empire. Always sacrified, always divided, always beautiful. No wonder Iceland and Croatia are the land of Thrones, two the most beautiful countries in the world. 4 mil ppl inland (in Croatia) and more than that scattered around the globe. And so many talents, bright stars, 2 cellos one of them. I would never wish I was born anywhere else. Never. Forever Croatia. 2 Cellos
I would love to more know about the history and customs of Croatia. I was close to a man from Croatia many years ago. I learned about the suffering endured from the war and the beauty of the country. We met and lived in the United States in a University town and list touch! I do regret not being mature enough to see and learn more about the country and it’s people! The people I did know had a wonderful sense of family.

I was with a couple of friends in Croatia. We've visited that parc, and that same evening, we attended a free concert from 2Cellos. So this video sums up that day in Zagreb.

This is a perfect footage that catches the sensational cello duo in action: the background with the waterfall and the body of water resulting from it perfectly represents the music style of 2Cellos - the waterfalls with their gushing speed are more like the eccentric-prone Stjepan Hauser, and the body of water more like the quiet but deep-thinking style of Luka Sulic. Great coreography to the max.
This music has become a form of therapy for me, and Croatia is unbelievably beautiful.
The duo is making a wonderful contribution to the promotion of tourism in Croatia with this MTV. The music is fine, the landscape devine, and the choreography superb in conveying a sense of beauty and sensuality.

Take My Breath Away Please. These Deep Cello Songs Are Songs That My Soul Sings On The Inside. To Hear It Out Loud Like This Is Incredible. I Used To Play The Violin Quite Well About 25 Years Ago. That Is Probably Where I Get My Love For Musical Instruments From. All I Need Now Is A Better Sound System In My Car So That I Can Feel Like I Am In Heaven When I Drive. Thanks Guys. Sorry if my comment was upsetting. It was a new thing I learned, and I wanted to share my marveling. Every knowledge is new once.
I was not that familiar with Croatia. I have personally only visited about ten countries. I am familiar with about double that through having friends there, or their showing up in a book, movie or TV series.
Before seeing this video and looking up the location, I am afraid all I know about Croatia was a general idea that it was Eastern European, a region I have little knowledge of. I don't know why, but I had a mental image of Croatia being craggy and cold. I have since learned that not only was I wrong, I was VERY wrong.
I think it likely that 2Cellos will draw more people to know more about your lovely country.

This is such a great piece of music, I am also a cellist and I have listened to a lot of cellists playing songs but 2cellos is my favorite one because these gentlemen are so talented.
I find it ridiculous to criticise these two marvelous performers for "copying" music rather than doing original pieces. It's like saying that any current classical musician isn't good as they only "copy" mozart, bach, beethoven ... whomever. It is a skill and talent to play music this well. These two have that. Enjoy!

I am glad the saying "It's never too late" exists. I just came across these 2 gents in January and wonder why I had never heard their work before or had them show up on my recommends list on UA-cam. Then again, I am seeing a world of difference, since getting my UA-cam Red subscription - I am seeing videos I didn't know were out there. But, these 2 gents have an insane talent. Music is universal - no wods needed.
