I was with a couple of friends in Croatia. We've visited that parc, and that same evening, we attended a free concert from 2Cellos. So this video sums up that day in Zagreb.
Beautiful music. The place is Plitvice lakes. That and Vis island and Dubrovnik ancient city are 3 must see places in Croatia (however there are many more). My homeland, so sad and beautiful, on the border of the Eastern and Western Roman Empire. Always sacrified, always divided, always beautiful. No wonder Iceland and Croatia are the land of Thrones, two the most beautiful countries in the world. 4 mil ppl inland (in Croatia) and more than that scattered around the globe. And so many talents, bright stars, 2 cellos one of them. I would never wish I was born anywhere else. Never. Forever Croatia. 2 Cellos
I would love to more know about the history and customs of Croatia. I was close to a man from Croatia many years ago. I learned about the suffering endured from the war and the beauty of the country. We met and lived in the United States in a University town and list touch! I do regret not being mature enough to see and learn more about the country and it’s people! The people I did know had a wonderful sense of family.

It's pretty rare to find artists who have such a visible passion for what they do. You can see and more importantly feel these two through their music. The absolute passion and love for what they do is riveting.
These two guys did something amazing... They managed to turn a "nerdy" instrument into something cool, spectacular and enjoyable even if you're not a classics fan! This is a perfect footage that catches the sensational cello duo in action: the background with the waterfall and the body of water resulting from it perfectly represents the music style of 2Cellos - the waterfalls with their gushing speed are more like the eccentric-prone Stjepan Hauser, and the body of water more like the quiet but deep-thinking style of Luka Sulic. Great coreography to the max.

Its Plitvice lakes,was there the water is so bright.But watch out you dont fall into the water its a lil slipy on the trails.And dont go over the fences,there are snakes but they are in the forest.And use shoes,nothing else what could expose youre legs.Its beatiful but a lil dangerous.Go there but watch out,OK?
Well why don't you?Try to find on internet other national parks and lakes like Krka waterfalls,Unique mountain in the world, UNESCO resort Velebit,one side swimming in the see the other skiing,National park there,never nor will be any industry,you could se so many island from there and Italy too,rafting river Zrmanja and others,a perl of all cities on the coast-Dubgrovnik, national park.island Mljet,Trogir town ,all Istria,coast and inner old towns-and hey, what about Brijuni islands?!!!anywhere in the world,i can name so many places,I'm tired,it's very late.When you'll find on internet that places and others.let me know.
Just a friendly advice from someone who lives not far from here (me :) ) don't go during july and august. It gets overcrowded and it's not as enjoyable. Best time to visit definitely late april and early may (and it's a bit cheaper then also) :)

I have personally only visited about ten countries. I am familiar with about double that through having friends there, or their showing up in a book, movie or TV series. Before seeing this video and looking up the location, I am afraid all I know about Croatia was a general idea that it was Eastern European, a region I have little knowledge of. I don't know why, but I had a mental image of Croatia being craggy and cold. I have since learned that not only was I wrong, I was VERY wrong. I think it likely that 2Cellos will draw more people to know more about your lovely country.

I find it ridiculous to criticise these two marvelous performers for "copying" music rather than doing original pieces. It's like saying that any current classical musician isn't good as they only "copy" mozart, bach, beethoven ... whomever. It is a skill and talent to play music this well. These two have that. Enjoy!
