THIS is a very good video with excellent content. I had purchased a new radiator from a local parts shop. It had worked well for three years only as it was made in China! After two years it had a minor leak which required topping up every 400 miles. Finally gave up the ghost. Now I am accomplishing a full system cleanup, flush, with a new radiator as well. Searching for a radiator made in the USA, but none avail. Thank you for your info here. A+
splice into the heater hose that gos to the block. not the one that gos to the thermostat. This radiator is so dirty I would change the radiator also ,,,Good video just the same
What scan tool did y'all use to keep an eye on the temps? Did mine just now and it's over heating. Went ahead and replaced the t-stat while i was at it.
@@Lethalgarage what's the temperature range it should be at when using a digital reader? I think the tempt sensor sender for the gauge is reading wrong on my truck.

Drain the radiator then drain the block and use distilled water and full concentrate coolant ! NEVER USE CHLORINATED TAP WATER .
