Trophy after trophy after trophy while maintaining a gentleman-like status. He’s been rightfully idolised around the world and I am absolutely privileged to have met him. One of my all time heroes and I will shed a tear the day he disappears from snooker.
Fully agree. Was lucky enough to meet him after number 6 at the hotel and him and his family could not have been any nicer. The highlight looking over and ronnie was handing my mate a kebab from Indian food he had brought in. His dad was great with us too. If a could have met anyone on earth it would have been him and I managed to. Guy is an utter legend!!
I can't either...I've just started playing pool. Snooker isn't popular in the States (I don't know why). but I watch Snooker players all the time, hoping 2 learn cue skills. of course practice will be everything 4 me since I'm not a 'natural'. Ronnie O'Sullivan is a genius.
yes i agree.. practice is everything.. it's good to learn from pool but it's better to learned it form playing snooker itself.. once you get a hang of potting and cue ball placing in snooker you'll be a pro in pool because the pot is bigger..
Come back to this documentary from time to time. Really like Ronnie. Wish I was a bit older so I could’ve followed his career at a decent age while it was happening. Greatest ever.
His resilience and perseverance really resonates with me even though I'm in a completely different industry, he's my hero, I hope I'll be able to meet him one day. Stay strong everyone no matter where you are/ where your head is

I have always admired ronnie , if ronnie gets knocked out of TV game I always switch channels I just loose interest , the only other player I admire is the Welsh man Williams by the way i have never ever played snooker and to old to start at 84yrs

Seeing Jimmy White never a world championship that must hurt him lots. when I saw Jimmy White and Ronnie o Sullivan precious moments all I said was Good luck Ronnie. For World Championships. Just hope he gets his 7th world championship Title .

He’s got a obsessive mentality with being the best, breaking every record (once he realised he’s good enough to) and never settling for 2nd / joint best. He never keeps his runner up medals, he gives them to the crowd. He knows his No1 and wants the records to prove it.

@@Taylor___ yeah me too mate and yeah he deserves something that’s for sure and you look at the list of winners of sports personality of the year and the names on it and ronnies never even won it 😂 it’s embarrassing that someone like Andy Murray’s won it and I think more than once but what ronnies achieved in let’s be honest one of the hardest sports out there and gets no recognition apart from the snooker world it’s crazy and I think once the last of the old school is gone Ronnie Williams and Higgins I don’t think snooker will be the same again this new era just have nothing about them a lot of good players but no one gets you off you’re seat or exites you I don’t get the same vibes from any of them
God didn't Williams look skinny in 2000. Ronnie is now a 7x world champion. But really did should have been 14x cos his talent and skills certainly would merit it. Pity his demons has held him back. But you bet he would love to win an 8th World title to go one better than Stephen Hendry.
