    also to anyone reading, hair loss can be a sign of Celiac. that's what happened to me. the celia (like hairs) in your small bowel absorb B12, which is required to absorb/store/use iron, and in Celiac disease those little celia break off. that contributes to low iron (ferritin) and causes hair loss. just for anyone having issues with hair loss AND gluten.... something to check

      Just found out I have a gluten intolerance (haven’t gotten an official celiacs diagnosis and don’t plan to even bother) and my ferritin levels are low. Thank you for connecting these dots!

      Thank you, Stephanie! I keep eating gluten and grains even though I know the are very heavy in my stomach... this extra info is a good push in the right direction for me! G Ire

      This is interesting. My ferritin level was 13 and in suspect I have a hormonal imbalance due to leaky gut (my autistic son has leaky gut).. he is gluten and dairy free plus soy, peanuts and all processed foods. I think I will have to join him and see if it helps me absorb iron. I have been on ferrous fumerate for 7 months now. Last time I checked iron had gone up to 30 x

    tooo much water is not good! drinking too much water can cause a water intoxication/poisoning! 1,5 liter to max 2 Liters water each is day is more than enough!

    I have had a few sessions of PRP - painful but really helped. Three sessions restored hair growth from an acutely bad situation, although it needs to be maintained with top up sessions - the growth effect wore off for me after 6 months.

    Deepa I have frontal fibrosing alopecia and u have taken Omeprazole for years Doctors won't take me off it as I have so many problems with withdrawal. I eat healthy natural foods but nothing helps . I shouldn't have started taking those tablets as they are meant to be short term . Anybody that takes these ppis please get yourself off them . I think the only help for me now would be a hair transplant. I walk so much but I'm still losing all my hair from the front . 😪😪😪

    • @DeepaBerar
      @DeepaBerar  2 роки тому +2

      I’m so sorry you are experiencing this. Is there any way for them to slowly take you off? I’m not a Dr so I don’t know what the particulars are but I would see what they say about that. There is so much that goes into hair growth besides diet; stress management, gut health, personal care products and so on these are things you might want to focus on if you aren’t already ♥️

    Soy is not inflammatory

    • @daniellesankey789
      @daniellesankey789 2 роки тому

      Soy does disrupt the hormones. It increases the estrogen in the body…also soy is made with chemicals- you will never find a organic soy- so the pesticide that is used to grow it- is in your body and disrupt the gut- and kill off the good bacteria and probiotics… look it up… ❤️😃

      I do remember reading that soy is a thyroid depressant so I presume it plays a 2nd hand role in the hair loss/thinning situation.
