Thanks for this tutorial! I just made it. I used a softer cord and my double half hitch lines weren't very straight, so I used the thinnest wooden dowel from my craft store (1/8") instead of cord for those parts and it looks awesome.
Thank you for such a well explained and demonstrated tutorial. Definitely going to try a smaller version of this ❤️💐
Very beautiful. I believe it's needed much practice to do this pannel but I'm willing to give it a try. I prefer beginning and ending with the same stitch so I guess it's necessary to check the numbers of strings. I like your teaching. Thank you from São Paulo Brazil
Love the triangles you created!!!
Wow this is first time I’m trying to learn and I already in love with macram because of you. Thank you so much teaching so good. ❤
Wow, wspaniałe wzory i perfekcyjne wykonanie. Dzięki za inspiracje i nauki
It's beautiful. Thank you for explaining each steps clearly👌, not all macrame videos are like this🙂
Thanks for your reply can’t wait to get started.
Love your tutorials, great tutoring clear and easy to follow makes me want to start macrame now.
So excited to get this project started! Just got my roll of cording in the mail and I’ve got some beads to add!
Awesome! Let me know how it works out!
Thank you so so much for sharing this, this looks so incredibly fun and I am so excited to make my own
Warning it’s addictive lol
Fantastic. Love the fact is so contemporary. Thank you very much.
Gorgeous work, thanks for the video.
I’m using your tutorial for inspiration on a plant shelf I’m making for my kitchen wall. I’ll be sure to post a picture when I’m done.
Also, can you tell me what the finished work measured out to?
That sounds like a fun project. Can't wait to see it!
Thank you so much for the link for the cord. I have watched so many tutorials and some do links but they are buying 50 yards for the price of 210 yards at your link. And the colors are amazing also. Thank you, thank you!
I cannot wait to give this a go... thank you for the knot lessons also! 💛🌷💛
Glad I could help!

Beautiful ❤️
I'm doing a smaller version of this today! Really easy to follow thank you :)
Ray Leonardus Thank you! let me know how it turns out!
@@MrsScrib will do! I had a bit of a tangled heap of yarn to figure out first! haha
It worked!! :D not bad for a first one, had to improvise a little with fewer yarn strands but still looks amazing!
Ray Leonardus Yah! I’m so glad to hear it worked out!
Excelente trabalho.
Linda cortina!
Thanks for this tutorial and keep going. You are doing great. I will definetely try this out.
Thanks so much 😊
Would you show the hook you use to fasten your project on the wall please
Thank you for the awesome tutorial ❤️ it’s a beautiful piece ❤️
Very cool 😊
Чудесно!!! Благодарю тебя!!!
So beautiful♥
Amazing
Hermoso tapiz..❤
Very cool
Great tutorial, thank you! May I ask what are the final measurements of this project?
beautiful design! Can clarify your comment about the spiral knot when you said - "about every 7 knots, move your string around?" Thanks!
Love this pattern! I’m doing a wide curtain using various thicknesses of cord, as I’ve done before with no issues. After a row of double square knots I’ve tapered the rows so that either side has three rows of double square knots tapers up in the middle.
I’ve then done a row of double half hitch knots (again from each side and rising to the higher points in the middle) and I’ve got warping. Any tips on how to fix this?
Hi! Love your work. I’m new to macrame but am wondering if there is a such thing as dowel connectors…I have quite a few dowels at 1ft, wondering if I could connect to make 3ft, what do you think? Is that possible?
muito lindo.
I love how easy to follow this tutorial is. Awesome work!
What song is playing in the background? It's super catchy!
Thanks! The song is called Exhale by Jeremy Blake
I really love this tutorial, but I am wanting to make a multi colored hanging for above our bed. Where could I easily incorporate colored cord while still keeping it mostly natural colored?
Hi, thanks so much for this video I love this design. It’s a nice clean big design just what I was after to hang over my bed.
I’m new to Macramé but I want to start big so I’m going to give this a go.
Can I ask if I wanted to make this wider across for example nearly 4ft can I add an extra 20 cords at the beginning? (so 80 in total) I’m really asking if the number across has to be in certain multiples.
I hope you understand my question. Thanks
F W That should work. You just need groups of 20 to do the design in the middle so you should end up with 8 of the triangle groupings instead of six. Good luck! Let me know how it turns out. If you have a question feel free to shoot me a message 🤗
СУПЕР КРАСОТА 😍😍😍
I’m 2 minutes in and I think I’ll just buy a pre made one 😭 this is amazing tho!!
Hahaha thanks!
Hey, thank-you for soo creative and innovative macrame wall hanging. Love this video 🌹🥰👌😘
I want to know, what will be the length of one cord for total of this ... please help,🥰
Each cord is 15 ft. My hanging ended up 3ft after I cut the bottom.
Hey amazing tutorial ! Super help ful i just have a question can you tell me the width and length of the finished final project? As i need to make it for a limited wall area and i want to know the measurements of this one . Itll be super helpful
The with is three feet (dowel length).
Bellísima
Sorry if someone has asked this already. So many comments. My question is, do you have any tips on how to start and keep even the double half hitch below the triangles. I'm having trouble getting it started and even. Thanks for the tutorial and any help. :)
bonjour, tout d'abord bravo pour ce tuto magnifique. Je voudrais savoir combien de cordes sont accrochées et combien de centimètres font-elles ? merci beaucoup
hello thanks for the tutorial. In the wire after the triangles how do you manage to keep the base of the triangle straight? I had to use a wooden stick to keep the triangle straight
It definitely takes some practice. You can sort of adjust each knot as you go to make it straighter. As you can see mine is still not perfect. I think the more you do it the better you get at making straight lines but a dowel always helps.
This is incredibly beautiful! I would like to try this somewhat smaller as a cafe curtain in my kitchen. With 3mm cord, and the 20 strand format you used, approximately how tall are the triangles?
They're each about 4 1/2 inches.
Please tell me how did you make that horizontal half hitch knot underneath the triangle? How did you start those knots? I dont understand
Hi! I really want to try this, it turned out amazing, thank you so much for the tutorial! how long are the strings in centimeters? Im from Chile so Im a little confused with the mesurements. I would really appreciate your help (:
Thank you so much! I'm copying and pasting a response from someone who converted it for me. I hope that helps!
"The strings were fifteen feet (15ft or 180 inches) so those would be 457.2cm strands. I would think cutting them at 460cm would work well."
This is beautiful and I'm about it try it out! What is the dimensions of the final product. I don't see that info in your description
Hi there! Great video!
This is going to be my first project😊
Is it possible to write to me the dimensions of wood and wire in cm?
Thank you for sharing this amazing project. I would love to try this! one question - If I would like to increase the length of the project to 4 ft so entire finish is 3ft wide by 4 ft long - how much longer should my thread be 20ft? instead of 15ft - if I just want to make both spiral/square knot rows a bit longer - appreciate your suggestion :-)
Sorry for getting back to you so late. I would cut your cord at about 20 to 25 feet in length that way you have plenty of cord to work with. I hope it turns out!
can you tell me the finished size of this wall hanging? I'm trying to figure out if this size would be suitable for a project I want to do. Thanks, great tutorial.
How do you get them so tight and perfect? I'm making it right now and can't get the fish bone as you do, it's frustrating.
Hola soy de Argentina. Me podrías decir medida del palo, cuantas cuerdas ? Largo delas mismas ? En Español por favor El resto es muy claro tu trabajo y hermoso
Thanks for your tutorial. I really liked how you explained the steps. They were very easy to understand. Can you tell me what the measurements were(are) for the finished piece?
This piece is about 3ft wide and 2ft long.
It seems bigger on the video
i like it.. can you make woven wall hanging macramee toturail please
Just wanted to say that this is an awesome design! I'm thinking of trying to shorten the width down to 3 triangles and making a pair of them for each side of my TV. One question though...how long would you cut your cords if you used 4mm cord instead of 3mm? TIA 💕
I love that idea! I hope it turns out great! I would honestly cut my cord at about the same length.
Hi very inspired with your project and want to try..you used 60 cords right?.Can you please tell the length of each cord?
If I wanted to do this with 5mm cord would i just increase the lengths?
Could macrame beads be incorporated in this project? Suggestions on where to put them?
👏👏👏👏👏 Belo 😍🇧🇷
hermoso
Love this, and what a great tutorial, will definitely be trying! What hardware did you use to hang it?
For large projects like this wall hanging I use a nailed in wall hook that I just happened to have in the wall already. For smaller projects like plant hangers I use a command hook I can remove from the wall later.
I would like to make a wall hanging that is 60 inches wide and 48 inches long. How do I measure the macrame cord for a hanging like that?
For each row of double half hitch knots, do you have to add a new piece of rope?
Yes. I add a new piece of cord for the lines of double half hitch.
When you are doing the double half hitch below the triangles what does the first one tie to?
Whenever you're creating a row of the double half hitch that first knot can be tricky. A trick I like to use is to tie the end of the strand I am adding for the double half hitch to the wooden dowel just in order to keep it in place. You can either cut that added cord longer or just pull it through your knots once you have a few done.
Te falto transcribir por escrito ennel video en el video medidas de cada cordon
Question! I am wanting to make this, but I have 4.3 or 5mm macrame cord. How should I accommodate? Longer dowel? Longer cord? Help!
I was only able to get 50 strings..is that enough for 5 triangles instead of 6?
This is amazing! Approximately how long did it take you to complete this project?
Thank you! This project took several hours or the course of two days.
Gostaria de ver a tradução do video
What kind of hook did you use to hang the dowel while you were working on this? I was expecting it to tilt as you were pulling knots tight but it didn't seem to
I actually just used a nail in hook that I already had on the wall. With the macrame cord attached the dowel actually stays pretty tight to the wall and doesn't move too much.
Hello, thanks for the video! I am three strands short.. how can I finish this project without buying more strand? Could I take off a few and make it 55 strands instead of 60.. will it still work? Thank you xx
Sorry to be getting back to you so late. I would use 54 cords that way the design will still work. You'll just have three less rows of square knots and each triangle piece would be made with eighteen strands rather than 20. Let me know how it turned out!
Quantos fios vc coloca?
What is the finished drop of this curtain?
Love this project. How long are the cords?
For this project I cut my cords at 15ft.
