For reference on the goalie with the shutout. That was his first game back after his wife was diagnosed with cancer. They were pushing for a playoff spot if I remember correctly and his wife told him to go and help his team. That’s why there was no words.
And it was the Oiler crowd aswell
@@martintrosell8486 for sure, I just figured he could hear them and the commentary team talk about their classiness on this night. I was just trying to give him the backstory on what made it so special since they never mention in the clip shown about his wife’s diagnosis. Cheers.
Craig Anderson's wife had cancer but she wanted him to play instead of being beside her. Only for him to get a shutout. Amazingly emotional.
Also the locker room scene is Fleury (goalie then of Pittsburg Penguins) pranking Crosby and Malkin's jerseys lol. This was at the All Star game and he is a jokester.
Oh wow, preciate you putting in the context fr, and lol I figured 😂
The rock, paper, scissors.. both players want to be last off the ice. It’s a sign of work ethic and commitment.
Yeah it's superstition to be the last off. I love that they both acknowledge each other.
That’s respect 💯
Fleury taped the sleeve of Crosby’s sweater closed so when he goes to put it on he won’t be able to get his arm through. Lol
Yeah, the guy taping the jersey sleeves shut is a former longtime teammate of both of those guys, so he was having a little fun with them before the all star game is where that took place
@@jaggr1287 lol I didn’t know when the flip was from so I just assumed it was still from his days in Pittsburgh. Good to know, thanks for the info.
at 9:20 he was taping the inside sleeves so they couldn't get their arm thru.
Gotcha, I thought he was doing that lol
Hockey players have a lot of respect for each other. You’ve seen what happens when players have a beef. There are times when they cross the line and are willing to accept the consequences.
9:00 that’s him pranking his former teammates
Continue grinding love ❤️ the vids almost at 20 k
Will do‼️💯
I love Fleury so much, basically what he did was this was during an all star game and Fleury snuck into their locker room and did that to the sleeves along with taping the inside of the jerseys
The guy who was in the dressing room taping the sleeves of the jerseys is Marc André Fleury, he is the former goalie for those two players.
Supprised Ehler protecting evans wasnt in here. gained alot of respect for ehlers after that holding back the brawl so no one fell on evans who was out cold on the ice
It’s because the video he reacted to was posted 2 years ago I think, that’s why it isn’t there.
That image is one of my favourite moments in hockey the last 5 years. I use it as my FB cover photo from time to time
You should react to people getting injured blocking shots.
I really recommend breaking glass moments in nhl. Some hits and some shots that break it
Hockey such a great but violent sport, yet the players almost always show respect to one another. Depending on the situation.
Just want to add look at the size of Crosby's legs and St. Louis too. Jeez!
that shutout one (the second clip) Craig Anderson (the goalie who got the shutout) his wife was just diagnosed with cancer. this was his first game since her diagnosis. She ended up beating her cancer though and is doing great to this day!
I’m real glad to hear she beat cancer fr, happy for both of them 💯
You gotta see the most electrifying goals from the 2022 playoffs by Starkcon Plays!
Flower was pranking Crosby and Malkin. He was tapping the inside of their sleeves so they hyd trouble putting their shirts on. He did pranks like that often.
Gotcha gotcha lol
damn i started watching matt for like a month and he only had like 4k subscribers and no hes got 18k im proud of you bro continue the grind 💪
Thank you bro fr, that means a lot, and will do, grind won’t stop 💯💯
Loving the videos
Preciate it bro
love the all the content on the channel!
I’d recommend watching ‘Cale Makar Edgework’ it’s a 5 mins video.
You’ve seen the makar highlights, he’s truly revolutionizing the modern age defenseman. This video shows what makes him so different from others at his position.
Keep up the grind my man!
React to Clint Malarchuk or Richard Zednik injury.... 2 of the bloodiest injuries in hockey history
That smooth intro tho🤣👑
😂😂
Marty St.Louis's mother died that day and the next game he scored the first goal ... on mother's day ... ❤🤍💙
That’s wassup fr, it’s like a sense of closure, being able to have peace and know she saw that 💯

React to Cole Caufield please 🙏
Do tj oshie highlights
Whoever put together the video you watched didn't do a good job of presenting why anything mattered.
Hopefully us long term fans will fill in the blanks here in the comments --- Which makes me wish we could have a video of you reacting to reading these comments 😂
For my part just in case it wasn't clear enough from the reporter's commentary: The clip that starts at about 4:00 is showing Sidney Crosby (who you watched some highlights of) who captains the Pittsburgh Penguins finding Martin St Louis who at the time played for New York (now coaches my Montreal Canadians 😁) and had just lost his mother to pay him respect and condolences.
They played together for Team Canada at a couple of world championships and Olympics.
Ahh I see I see, I didn’t know how well they knew of each other, preciate the context bro 💯
What happens When you let a Sadist edit your hockey “sportsman ship/lighthearted”video 😂🤣💀
#17 on the Red wings taking that puck to the dome piece
It doesn’t really seem that “lighthearted” ”to me!
You watched a lot of videos highlighting individual skill, so it would be great if you watched smth like “best combinations or passes in NHL”
You need to watch Nikita Kucherov highlights
Will do next week, promise 💯💯
Tough sport. Though game... doesn't mean you have to be bad people... I mean some of them are.. but.. you know
😂 Definitely get what you’re saying 💯
I know you can’t react to this; it is part of the NHL official channel. You can watch this mic’d up version of the 2022 Stanley Cup Final:
ua-cam.com/video/3AFR136zYsQ/v-deo.html
It will give you a great chance to see the pace, play and spirit of the game. Some of the rules are there to see too.
