I felt what you were saying about the gas station. I drove from New England to Texas with some friends and small moments like that were definitely the most memorable of the drive (except my car dying in Mississippi, but that's beside the point.)

Yay, I did that before. Tokyo -> Izu -> Shizuoka -> Osaka -> Kyoto -> Ise -> Hamamatsu -> Hakone -> Tokyo. Took me a couple days hopping through Onsen. That time I drove a rental Toyota GT86... which was automatic :'(

I miss my S2000 sometimes. Traded it in for a 19' Type R. LOVE my Type R and I wouldnt trade back but something about the rawness of the S2000, older cars in general, is something new cars just dont have. Maybe one of these days I'll have another one. Highly doubt it though.
