    The 1984 KX80 brings back memories. Two of my friends (brothers) had one each brand new in 84. That cylinder was sleeved. The cylinders were originally chrome lined, Kawasaki called it Electrofusion. They would last a long time if the filter was clean & did not let the rings get too worn.

      Ya someone had sleeved this cylinder. I actually found out after the fact this is an 1983 cylinder. Thanks for watching.!

    I built one for my brother, paid $200 bucks in 96 at some cycle joint in central PA. My little bro,s Christmas was pretty good that year. 😊

    yup, you should have walked away from it, despite having wasted 4 hours of time and gazoline.
    In Dutch, we have a saying: "Beter ten halve gekeerd, dan ten hele gedwaald"., translated (occording google), " better half-turned then completely gone astray" .
