Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is a platformer developed by Wayforward and published by Wayforward and Marvelous USA. It is about a half-genie named Shantae who is the guardian of Scuttle Town. She has various transforming powers that give her new abilities. For example, the monkey form allows her to jump higher and climb on walls. She is constantly thwarting her arch nemesis Risky Boots, a pirate who has an army of tinkerbats. In Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, Shantae's Uncle Mimic is putting together a new invention: the Dynamo. This will supposedly help keep Scuttle Town safe from harm. But he is missing several key components which Shantae must find as she traverses Sequin Land. Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero is available on Windows, PS4, Vita, Wii U, and Xbox One. Only PS4, Vita, and Wii U have physical releases, however.

This video was very helpful thank you. However something that isn’t mentioned in the video, is that once you have completed the game (possibly with the good ending or with 99% completion when I discovered it) if you return to the art gallery in Scuttle Town and speak to the mayor inside, you will unlock one final relic called the Magical Tiara. It will grant you infinite magical ability.

Nobody knows when Wayforward comes back from their vacation (they spent 3+ years making this game I think), but as soon as they get back they're supposed to start working on the Risky Boots DLC

if she did fight she be like street fighter puzzle fighters she fits into that world perfectly the transformation and character assist and elements object's and abilities will for the perfect animated combo like mega man marvel vs capcom .

You'll need to Vorpal Sword in Main Street, and then after beating Hypno Baron, give the sword to a guy in the shop, and then give the hat you obtain to grandma blobfish in town.
I've got a question, (Mermaid Bubble Part) when you trade the Vorpal Blade for the Foxy Grandma Hat, what if that guy in the shop isn't there..?

I have the Vorpal Blade but the knight isn't in the item shop. Am I doing something wrong or do I have to do something else in order for him to show? P.S your walkthrough videos are incredible!
From what I remember (it's been a bit) he doesn't show up for a while into the story, though you can get the blade fairly early on. It's possible he just hasn't triggered yet.
Ah ok thank you. Yeah I know I'm practically a whole year late playing this game. It just happened to pop up in the PSN store and gave it a try. I don't regret the purchase haha. I'll definitely be using your walkthroughs if I get stuck though for sure :)

If you seen the DLC, Risky says that she'll be back next time. Makes me think that another game is in the works, just not known by the public. Developers LOVE hidden meanings behind things!
