Juan Miguel it’s not really a wave dash but u r close it’s called djc aka double jump cancel by pressing the c button twice and the a button to cancel it and also holding the analog stick at any direction to keep him moving
No, tool assisted. The two "player" characters are controlled by a sequence of predetermined button presses, and that's why they can fuck the game physics so hard.
@crimson35124 @crimson35124 Lol...I had to go back into the emulator to watch it frame by frame...So, Fox walks left and turns and Usmashes. Ness is starting his throw 2 frames before Fox Usmashes. The Usmash and Fthrow clank. Because both characters get pushed back when they clank, Fox gets pushed to the edge. If fox were facing the other way, he might teeter instead, but he gets pushed off and can double jump the next frame. Then he dairs.
lol its a computer program guys...not an actual person playing. im pretty sure its not even possible to begin with though, i don't think any controller could react this fast
Yes and No. He's using an emulator to slow this down frame by frame to put many inputs that are not possible with a controller. Despite this, TAS take an incredible hard amount of work to do and some TAS takes years to create.
TAS isn't a program with it's own AI its controlled by humans TAS isn't it's own program anyway you can say macro/turbo buttons are a form of TAS for certain games
Jose Armando Tool Assisted Speedrun. With that tools you can make the game look in slow motion so you can make everything easier , and everysecond you get State Saves (You can load the game if you fail in a part or you dont do it fast enaugh) and other things to help you make a beast speedrun
technically its possible on a N64. People have made a bot that reads the inputs of a TAS and actually plays them back on a console. You can see several Mario 64 runs that use a real console, but using one of the input bots. Its also very possible to do it with this game, so anything done in TAS for Smash 64 is TECHNICALLY possible on a real console. Of course you can't physically do all this frame perfect yourself, but the game itself can handle this, and it really is possible.
ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok
He's saying "Oh yeah"
Ness can wavedash... Before it was even possible!!!
