Thank you for the feedback! I was trying to keep these simple to produce so we could do a lot this month. However, not including close ups was definitely an oversight. And one we'll remedy in our next round of videos. In the meantime, you can see a close up of the plants here: www.succulentsandsunshine.com/types-of-succulents-plants/?.com&
I actually bought one of these from Mountain Crest Gardens! It's doing fantastically, and has grown an inch since I bought it. That beautiful copper tone stands out amongst all of my other succulents.

I would add as a suggestion to remove those arrangements from the center because they steal the thunder of the succulent you're talking about. You may want to place them at the sides, just on your left and right, like the rest of them. That way, in the center of the screen you'll have two important protagonists: you and the succulent you're showing us. Keep it up! you're doing an amazing job, and your videos are always very informative and entertaining!
I had a grown plant, but gave it to someone else. However, I have many many babies. As Cassidy said, I have found this one to propagate very easily via leaves. The babies already have a nice copper color even at one inch wide. Thanks, Cassidy!
I had to look it up to be sure, but Yes, I do have this one! I think I got it in a mixed pot that I pulled apart and rearranged into a different arrangement. It adds such a nice contrast of color! I live it!!
I've had this plant for several years and it wasn't until sometime last year that I discovered it was a sedum. I should have known based on the flowers but simply didn't make the connection. I thought it was a graptoveria or hybrid. Regardless, it had completely and beautifully taken over a large bowl (18") so back in spring I trimmed it back and managed to make three additional 8" pots worth! One each went to my mother, sister, and myself. It's probably one of the easiest plants to grow since it needs so little attention.
I have to admit that this is one that I wasn't ever really very attracted to because I had never seen it in it's full copper glory in person. But then I got one in my Succulent Studio box a couple of months ago and have been caring for it with full sun ever since. Shes gorgeous and SO copper. I have her potted with a paraguayense and the colors compliment each other so well. They're both babies though cause they both spread so wonderfully. I'm excited to watch them fill up their container :) thanks for all the tips!
Congrats! Me too. I thought growing these little beauties was going to be just like growing cactus. Boy was i wrong! Killed so many succulents until I starting watching S&S.
Your September video series is really fun, a great idea. The specific info for each succulent, like this Sedum, is essentialin knowing proper care. Thank you for doing this!
I have mine potted indoors. I recently repotted it because I can only have them in pots at the moment. It is very green I am moving it outside I hope it brings some more color to it.
I have a small pot of this inside, but am now thinking of adding it to a couple of outdoor planters I have of sedum (as sedum so far have come back after wintering outside in zone 7 outside). With the addition of grow lights inside, a more appropriate soil mix, and adjusting my watering it has a bit more color than it did. It arrived green and stayed that way, but is getting kind of golden now, as well as putting off some babies. -Jen Morris
Coppertone stonecrop was one of my first succulents! I now have several plants. I love to see the little babies growing off of the stems, and while I haven't been totally successful in propagating from leaves, I'm still trying!

This looks like one I got in a variety box of clippings this week. I'm excited to see the little one grow and I'm glad to have a lesson on it! I'm pretty sure mine will end up turning green soon, but I'll still be happy to practice propagation with it!
Yay! I actually have this one. I've only had it for 3 weeks. My husband bought me some unique discounted succulents from the grocery store. I'll make sure to get a grow light since I live in the pnw. It gets full sun now & is the most beautiful color. It is my definitely one of my favorites. Thank you for all of the info!
I feel like every succulent arrangement that has ever been gifted to me has some of this in it lol. I’m always sharing cuttings and still have a ton! Great video!
I don't live in a warm enough climate for these, but I'm building a greenhouse this weekend that will stay warm all year and get plenty of sun. Ha! I'll find a way to continue my obsession despite my climate!
Impressive job pronouncing this one ☺️ My grow lights were producing so much heat this summer, I had to lessen the number of hours they were on which resulted in less color. Next year I will put them outside and bring them in for the winter. Sedums are great in containers and as a ground cover.
Your videos are very informative. I may have to look for a coppertone sedum for outdoors. I like that it is easy to propagate too. Thanks. Ethel Walker
I have this coppertone sedum but it's severely sunburned on all its leaves. I was trying to acclimate it to a new location, but I think it got too much heat too fast. Looking forward to the cooler months so I can keep it in the sun without burning it
I'm looking for a ground cover and this would be adorable, but I live in Zone 6B. Might have to use some in accent pots, however, and bring them inside in the winter.
Thank-you so much for sharing your expertise of succulents! Because of your valuable information, I've been able to keep all of my little succulents alive! Well, I did accidentally kill one, but that was before you! Next, I want to have a succulent dish/garden with lots of colors...I've even seen a black succulent recently which would look great by itself or as contrast with some reds or other colored succulents. Thanks again!
I am a Master Gardener in Napa, CA prepping for a couple of workshops on succulents in table design and gifts. All this information is so very useful. We are in zone 9, so I probably won't purchase this one...maybe
I’ve got one of these too. Pretty momma has a couple of babies growing as well. 💚 I feel like the babies have been there forever without much growth though.
I was at one time able to make this work in a window with good if not ideal color -- specifically, at my workplace in a 15-foot high, south-facing window. However, they put window film up this spring and it almost immediately started etiolating and greening out. :-/ Gorgeous plant when it's in good color, though.
Could you add clips of close ups? Want to see if it’s one I have.

Same thing I was trying to figurr out.. Lol
100% agree, some close ups of both the single plant and in arrangements too.
I actually bought one of these from Mountain Crest Gardens! It's doing fantastically, and has grown an inch since I bought it. That beautiful copper tone stands out amongst all of my other succulents.
You give us such good information but we can not see the plants very well. Can you show it closer, Please?

Love this little plant. It looks so sweet with other succulents.
I love the color on this one and the cute pots you use.

Looks like a very beautiful and fun succulent. I love propigating them - great fun for me.
Beautiful colors in this succulent. I guess I need to look into it more. Thanks for the great information Cassidy.
Thank you Cassidy for the information on safety of plants for pets and kids. Very useful information that isn’t easily found elsewhere.
I have a small pot of these outside I live in KY and its transformation from green to Orange has been really cool to see!!
Oh I have a bunch of these that I rooted from cuttings and had no idea what they were...now I do!
I had to look it up to be sure, but Yes, I do have this one! I think I got it in a mixed pot that I pulled apart and rearranged into a different arrangement. It adds such a nice contrast of color! I live it!!
Just bought a small pack of 4! Going to try my hand at an arrangement and wanted to put them in with some other new succulents I got.
I love the ones that propagate easily, it's so much fun growing babies!
I’m glad you did this video because I just ordered a bunch for my fall centerpiece. Thanks!
This is perfect for a fall centerpiece! Of course, as long as it stays copper. Haha
I really love the rosy and golden color of this one. Thanks for the vid!

I love this one. Propagates so easily.
Looking forward to using this in some Fall arrangements to add those special colors.
This video is helping me even after 5 years! Thank you

Thank you for the information about this little gem! I certainly need to add it to my collection sooner than later.
Oh! I have that one and absolutely, I love its bright color. In Japan, we call it 銘月(meigetsu) 😊
I have some of these and they have done very well rooting in arrangements!
Such a unique color on this one!
Keep up the good work! Your work is why I went from 0 to 30+ succulents all the sudden 😂
Congrats! Me too. I thought growing these little beauties was going to be just like growing cactus. Boy was i wrong! Killed so many succulents until I starting watching S&S.
I am loving the daily videos so much to learn still
XThank you for highlighting how to use this plant to add some color variety. I'm hoping it can flourish in my Florida landscape.
Wish I live in a warmer climate so I could grow this beauty. Thanks for all the great info!

Love the color! Added to my wishlist.
So pretty...and a reminder that I’m so ready for fall!
Thank you for making these videos I’m learning so much. I need to make a chart for keeping watering and light needs handy.
I love the color of this one. It's one of the first ones that I got.
Passed one of these up at Lowe's the other day! Will have to get one next time I see one because I like tinkering with propagation techniques!
I have this plant! Always good to learn more about it!
This coloring is giving me fall vibes 🍁
This would be a great series to continue doing every now and then. Love it!
Love succulents as i live in a zone 10 which is difficult, but many of this i can leave outside all year!

How I wish I could use this coppertone sedum as a grow cover here in the midwest...love it!
Just lovely! Sedums are amazing plants! 💚
Will have to give some thought to this one as I am zone 7 and I don't do well with indoor plants.
I have a few growing inside! I love them!
These videos have so much information. Thank you
I feel like every succulent arrangement that has ever been gifted to me has some of this in it lol. I’m always sharing cuttings and still have a ton! Great video!
I love the color on the "coppertone sedum" I am going to try and order this one now. I will use my grow light when not outside. Thanks again Cassidy.
Nice plant, really wish I had some outdoor space to plant. Love the videos

I love the color!
Great color on this one!
I have it but in a mixed arrangement so hard to sun-stress but still beautiful in it's own color.
Pretty color.
This succulent is a great succulent - its easy to work with. Very informative video.
I’d love to add this one to my list of succulents to grow!!
Looking forward to propagating and getting orange babies!
This one is cute. Love the color,.

I have one little lone baby! Can’t wait to propagate!
Beautiful! Wish I could grow indoors
I'm looking for a ground cover and this would be adorable, but I live in Zone 6B. Might have to use some in accent pots, however, and bring them inside in the winter.
Love the color! Thanks for the video (:
