Your channel is like my childhood and everything I loved. Born in 78 so grew up in the 80s and 90s. I loved all these shows from the 70s. WW was one of my favs. I’ve seen them all, and the earlier clips you showed. Also love Dr Who and I noticed your bookshelf.
Thank you! I thought about reviewing 80 shows, but I already have a huge backlog of shows from this decade to get through already. Glad you like the Doctor Who collection, too! Maybe you would enjoy our podcast?
@@emperordalek I bet I would. I’ve been collecting Dr Who stuff since I was about 8 years old and I’m 45 now. That and retro shows like WW, Bionic Woman, Charlie’s Angels I adore and have watched them over and over. What’s your podcast?
Thanks! I really do like that season. I'm thinking that once I get onto a more regular release schedule, I might go back and redo this video in the style of my later ones. That camera was just not good!
I guess so? He definitely was an innocent in the whole thing, truth be told, and Diana is the sort that she would have some serious scruples about punching an animal over punching a human. Mind you, she didn't get to punch too many people at all in this show, but...point taken!
Stella Stevens should have been the original the Cheetah Priscilla Rich. She looked just like her and would have been perfect in a cheetah suit. Then it would have made the fight more believable than Wonder woman struggling to figure a regular woman.
I agree! But that would have been way too close to the comics for the network to stomach, since they seem to want a superhero show without any of the superhero trappings such as supervillains.
@@emperordalek bat man had all his villains and so did Superman. It would have been cool to see Cheetah considering she was one of Wonder woman's most iconic foe. As I've always wondered why they never had any of her villains in her show except the barrenness but I've seen cheetah and the cartoons challenge of the super Friends in the 70s.
@@KingD-light I think you just answered the question right there: they saw the villains as too cartoony for live-action, as indeed they were in the BATMAN series in the 1960s. The notable thing about that pilot episode with Stevens is that it's much more tongue-in-cheek than the rest of the series, implying that they really REALLY wanted to do something more over-the-top instead of the route they ended up going. I also have to wonder how exactly the show would've looked while set in the '40s but with appearances by Giganta and Ares, the god of war - we may not have gotten a second season if they'd gone that way. Still, we got the Baroness at least once, so that's something, right?
@@emperordalek cheetah came in the 1940s as well Wonder woman #6 in the original series of the comics it shows her original origin then as how she became the cheetah due to a jealous rage against Wonder woman. 1943 if I'm not mistaken.
Really? I guess it's easy for me to make fun of the concept simply because I never actually watched it - I'm sure I was too young, and they would likely not have run it in syndication like they did with its parent show. That said, I DID love THE BRADY BUNCH when I was younger, and I dread the day that someone on here asks me to tackle THAT particular long set of episodes...!
I was a big fan of this show, though I can barely recall any of the WW2 season. But you've mentioned the very ones I do recall from it; the gorilla, the Wonder Girl 2-parter, Mr. Brady (the Falcon) and the last Wonder Girl/Robert Hayze one. But yeah, that 2-parter--wow, did it disappoint me. The 1st part wasn't two great, but it was Wonder Girl (and I was a original Teen Titans fans, so I spent half the episode daydreaming of her and Burt Ward/Robin teaming up some day) and I assumed the 2nd half would have the good stuff. It didn't. An all out battle on Paradise Island sounds epic. Superstrong amazons vs nazi commandos! Man did it disappoint. Most of the later episodes set in the "present" I watched nearly all of. I remember wishing and half expecting Adam West, Lynda Carter and George Reeves (who I hadnt realized was long since passed) to team up. A hope I kept (substituting Chris Reeve) even into the 80s. In my head canon her World War 2 self was the Earth-Two version along with George's Man of Steel, while her "modern" self and Chris were Earth-One. Sadly most of the JLA & JSA I cast have passed, but she and Ward are still alive, so it'd be nice if they could at least voice the characters one more time in a cartoon team-up (like they did with him and West in an animated movie or two).
I love it when shows introduce new siblings out of thin air! 🙃 the 2-parter was fun as a kid, but it's not the perfectest outing... it's still been better than a lot of seasons 2 and 3. 6:45 Miracle Whip blocks the UV light that isn't the only contributors to aging? 😂 Nice factoids (as usual!) The Andros episode was fantastic. 3.5/5 is good. It's held up better than the later seasons...

I was surprised Batman '60s was longer? I think I saw 3 seasons? They don't make TV like that anymore and I love watching my movies and TV as I'm handicap and can't do much so this is what helps me.
I watched the first two episodes last night and it was duuuuumb. I disagree with the host saying it was supposed to be campy. Yes that's definitely there but I think most of the reason it is dumb is because of it was the 1970s.
I’m going to mention this to you because you might want to consider it from a content creator standpoint. I did subscribe to your channel, but I have now unsubscribed because I watched two videos, and in both videos you found it necessary to tell me about your ‘gayness.’ I don’t care who you want to sleep with or where you want to stick your thing. Is this something you have to talk about in every video? I mean, I have a bike trail channel and I don’t find necessary in every video to tell people, “Hey, by the way guys, I like to have sex the old-fashioned way. I like vaginas!”
OMG just come out already. As a homophobe or a homosexual you are obviously one or the other. The fact that you needed to leave a comment basically criticizing someone for being who they are reveals either repression or obsession. As far as the comment that you don't find it necessary to proclaim your straightness in your banal ass bike trail video well duh. Straight people don't have to proclaim it. They post pictures of their weddings or kids or parents straightness is by default represented always. And the idea that this man can't do the same damn thing y'all do all the time on his own videos?
