You will make a lot more money if you set up an auto market from your gold node or silver if you haven't found gold yet. make much more than selling copper pots. Finally, I got to see how you set up auto sell. Great job, Kage. If you think big, you could set up rail stations and have gold and silver going into an auto seller at the same time. I haven't reached the point yet to auto sell emerald and sapphire stuff yet. Need the higher tier automation. Great video. Thank you for making it
that powder keg made the BOOM!. 2 drills and a bunch of Foundation Tiles for the Motherlode of Gemstone Ores = WIN! now mine up all that glittery awesome with your pick and dig a bit deeper for the next blast that will be sure to shake the Balrog from it's slumber.
Even if you don't have a coal node to drill and belt feed the new water pump and boiler, you can put a storage and splitter to belt feed them. Still have to manually fill the storage, but can put way more than 100 at a time and it lasts pretty long before needing to refill.
This. Using splitters and mergers, you can set up 1-2 big storages to automate storing everything and getting your fuel automatically once you set up that storage the first time. .
Just a thought,, in construction in Wales,, we pit the Pipping from the Out up to the Celine,, acroos and up to the next floor,, loads of room walk around.. Hope this helps..
This is the part where you may need to expand and/or move your production center. Not only is this your forever cash generator, you should make a couple more Constructors (or "Auto Crafters" as I like calling them,) to make your two main component items (art the time of this reply copper plates and pipes but this may change as you progress.) Then you go to those attached containers to get your crafting materials. Also connecting mining carts (and belts for close stuff) to this system for automation. At this point you should get rid of almost all your blacksmiths save one or two as backup. (You also no longer need to pay gold to craft.) Make "farming" dwarven ale for even MORE profit! Steam tanks are for distance from home for more devices, not home base solely.
If you think that explosion was large wait until you use the mountain mover explosive lol. Dont use it anywhere near your equipment. Its for clearing out large portions of unexplored territory. Looking forward in seeing your conversion to auto water and steam equipment. Just need to feed them coal using belts or rail system.
I been watching your channel for a while, i am not a pc player but i love the games you play, subsistence, this game is awesome, i play xbox, but i bought a legion go and i can play it now and attach it to my tv, been looking for a good survival game and this is it. xbox does not have them. your doing awesome brother, keep it up
This really isn't a survival game. It's more of a factory building game like satisfactory or techtonica. You don't have food or water needs but basebuilding is a big part.
with the steam set up can that not be put on the roof so the pipes just go up im kind of wanting to buy the game to try it my self the game seems to be about making everything massive in satisfactory i had massive power set ups that sent power around the world is the map in the game a big map its hard to tell from a vid how big the map is ?
Waiting for you to hit the performance wall. I have a feeling once your base gets a little bit bigger the game will become unplayable. Optimization is needed as the game becomes a stutter step mess mid/late game.
I agree. My base has gotten pretty large and expands quite a bit and the stuttering is a nuisance to say the least. It definitely needs better optimization. If they could stop the strings of ore from respawning after being chopped down would help

Just temporarily remove your floors then run your pipes then replace the floors. No more pipes in the way.
Lighting is indeed better now.
I still think you should make elevators to go in between the floors.
That was a BIG BOOM 💥
More Orebound Gameplay.... Jep Jep
i see you finally clipped through the world lol at least on screen...
