@@warrenford2597 Good point. The suspension of disbelief applied to something in science... in this case, puny bit of energy used by LHC actually making all the little worms worm their way out of their hole of blackness and entangling adjacent galaxies in the cracked-up multiverse (or something).
What a scarey thought, to wake up and you're in a paralel Earth with two moons. I know it's just a story but I'm glad the three of them got back together. Nice to see some sci fi show human family feel. An excellent short movie. Thanks heaps for making it.
I think the message of that ending phone conversation between the woman & her co worker was - 'Appreciate your family. U never know when they will be gone'. At least thats what I got out of it.
Well written and the music was superb. The shock he experienced when realizing what had happened was portrayed beautifully. All three leads did a good job in their roles...
I remember when the fear of creating a black hole was in the news but scientist thought that if that actually happened it would be a very small one. This was great!
To the authors: you guys should be ones doing Star Trek like it once was, or blockbusters similar to "Arrival", "Sphere", "Abbys","K-PAX" - masterful work! Keep at it!
I recall the base Earth which was here before 1974 during the 3rd World War. Everything changed after that. We also had states of religion instead of political states. Life was so ordinary and so less advanced, very much like the 1930s. I still have something from that time...an object I once showed my mother and she thought it was some sort of toy or something made up just for fun, but it wasn't. And, we've always been right here in The Milky Way...no traveling to other parts of the universe. I'm glad I'm here instead of there...people were systematically killed in the name of religion and the belief in God. Technology couldn't progress due to so many religious murders killing off so many brilliant people along with common people. And so it goes...be grateful to be here the way we are.
@Joel Smoth.....my mom died almost 20 years ago. I'd give ANYTHING to be able to talk with her for 5 minutes. Why don't you try talking to your mom before it's too late, like in my case. I only hope your mom is still around. If she is, take it upon yourself to connect with her. You definitely won't be sorry, my friend!
Something has happened that has me convinced I'm in another multi-verse. I've just seen something on UA-cam that was worth every minute watching! Thank you.
This was beautiful and brought tears to my eyes. I would love to see this on the big screen. As is, no added material unless it forwards the plot. But thank you so much for this.
This just made me more uneasy than I've ever felt. I discovered another "Mandela Effect" yesterday before I went to work. Then I come home this morning to this. Hence the saying, "Home is where the heart is." or "Home is where you make it.".
I can't imagine who would thumbs down this film. Great sci-fi. Great story telling, thanks for your awesome effort. My wife teared up at the end and got mad at science! She loved it too. Thanks again!
My favorite short sci-fi film. Little do you know (or do you?) that that is exactly what happened when the collider was run. The shock waves changed so many things. No one can deny that things are not the same in the world around us. Subtle changes that people are trying to ignore. Some of us noticed. Kudos on this masterpiece, Alex.
Thank's for sharing. Very intrigiuing story of how we are living our lifes, and what is real for us. Reality and what is happening is as branches if tree. They are branching out indefintely.
Out of all the short films I've seen, what you have created has moved me the most out of any film. From the story and cast, to the filming and sound design. Everything was perfect. That closer really got to me! Respect.
As beautiful and thought provoking it is, I just can't get over the idiocy of leaving one's own daughter in a car in an unknown situation all on her own.
This is one of the greatest films I've ever seen, including one's made by Hollywood. It reminds me of a really great sci fi short story. I used to enjoy reading them a lot, before getting a smartphone destroyed my attention span.
This is one of the best! I remember Nelson dying in prison when I was in in High School but then I remembered him being released and becoming President. It’s all strange because I had just started paying attention to political issues when he became president. I think we just entered the third parallel universe.
Yeah some of the mandela effect hits home with me too, strongly. Crazy how we go through different time lines, realities, parallel universes, simulations, or whatever this thing is
This is an incredible piece of scifi. The role model of what scifi is supposed to be. Philosophical, scientific and timeless. And invoking some bottomless feeling of being just a human in a vast universe. Thanks for this masterpiece❤
Best sci-fi short I've seen so far. Thank you.

@AD G.... scifi is not always spaceships and lasers sometimes it is thought.

Wow, just wow. What an amazing short film. More compelling and thought provoking than some full length films. I wish this was a series.
Beyond being a fantasy subject, it is very possible that this has already happened in daily life, but in a more subtle and discreet way, thank you.

That was really brilliant. I'd love to see this as a feature length. Truly brilliant.
