When you’re watching a review and see yourself coming in the opposite direction. 😂. Good review. Fancy a little plodder to keep me out of the pub. Going to look at one in the morning. 👍

That is one green lane bike worth buying, I bought the Himmy 411 which was a brilliant bike, but off rd this is better and cheaper

I bought one and love it, the vibes get better as the mileage goes up, up to 6,000 rpm it’s fine, over 7,000 it gets vibey, never had so much fun on the back roads and green lanes.

Not bad, and it comes with the crash bars and rear rack you'll want to put on the CRF300l Rally anyway.

They are quite different bikes. Very different from the Himalayan even if they share the same roads.

Why on Earth would anyone test ride a 300 Rally on a motorway? I’ve got one and I can imagine it ever being in that environment, why not test it where it belongs? Mine has only done a couple of hundred miles and it shows no sign of unpleasant vibrations. I don’t understand your point about it being a chugger either. My experience is that it doesn’t like pulling away in anything but 1st gear and it’s much happier when you change down early. I’m finding it hard to believe that you’re testing the bike I’ve been riding a lot recently, our experiences are poles apart. And the windscreen… I’ve also got a Suzuki DR125 with no windscreen. If I ride that I’m in the elements, yet on the Voge the screen does a good job. Just out of interest who do you think would buy a bike with less than 30 BHP if they were looking for power? What you should be doing is comparing it to the Himalayan and in comparison to that it’s light, nimble and lively because it’s lighter, more powerful and has a better set up frame and forks. Your first two minutes sounded like you were reading a script you had written after watching other peoples’ UA-cam reports, you must have had a shock when the suspension didn’t sag when you sat on it. That was my first thought, the suspension is vastly superior to the Honda CRF. ALL in all a pretty disappointing video.

He literally takes it onto a green lane. And sometimes, he might need to take the motorway, so it's fine to use the motorway as a test. He's given it loads of praise. You need to be a little less defensive.

Every one has a different point of view, I have a Himalayan since 2018 and 10.000 mile of routh off road ,I have just bought one of these it arrives Saturday, I don't listen to much to the rider I listen to the bike, gears seem short but peaky looking forward to it ,

I bought mine for a bit of green laning as the GS was getting a little heavy for that; but unfortunately I'm not one of the lucky ones that live near the great back roads and lanes, I have at least a 40 miles ride on normal roads before I get to where I can start having some fun and I want to get there as quick as I can, unfortunately that sometimes involves motorways and duel carriageways, I try to avoid them but not always possible. Not noticed any bad vibrations but come on! it's a single potter what can you expect if you push up the revs? I find the windscreen does keep it off your chest but my face get blown about a bit, I've bought a small extender to see if that helps. I'm enjoying the bike but sometimes wish it had a 450cc in it; but that would push up the weight; which is one of the reasons I bought it in the first place.

There a brilliant bike and to be honest in muddy fields better than the Himmy the weight makes the difference, to me doesn't matter opinions it's how much you enjoy the bike value for money 110%
