- In this video I cover installing an outdoor shower in a Peugeot Boxer or Ram pro master in the states, I have now shown the gas pipe work in this video as I am not a qualified gas engineer however, the system has been signed off by a gas safe technician, if you would like to see a video on pipe cutting and compression fittings I'll make a stand alone video, just comment below 👇
for more information on the installation check out my blog post: aboutavan.wordpress.com/2022/...
The black hose for the Camplux shower came with the unit, I just cut the regulator off which came with the unit and installed the Bullfinch quick connect into that pipe as there is already an LPG regulator installed on the van.

Just another great idea Adam! Christian would just have opted for an custom made aluminum plate instead of plywood for the back of the socket 😅 but that's of course just do to his perfectionism 😂.
Haha, I'm sure he would 😜 thanks 🙏
A job well done 🙌🏻❤️
Where are you based? Loving the videos
Came over from Liam the terribles shout out great content should be vied by many more 👍
Great video. Keen to buy one of these- do you know what the 2 D cell batteries you put in it are for? I'm keen to buy and set up my own 12v pump to push the water into it- is this what you did? Cheers!
Hey there, they’re for the ignition of the gas on start up :-) I saw a guy on UA-cam who said he’d used the original ones for two years showering daily so it’s just a spark. Yes this was set up with a 12v SeaFlo pump :-)
@@Aboutavan thanks! Good info :-)
Hello,
Thank you for the video, can you tell me how hot the vent on top gets? I need to know how far away I need to mount this to the ceiling in my camper kitchen compartment
This is for outdoor use only.
@@lottiet22 ok so then what keeps rain and other elements from getting into the top vent?
You either buy the version with the rain cap or you only shower in dry weather. Check out the Camplux website for details.
@@lottiet22 checked out the camplux website like you said,
"Camplux propane portable water heater with oxygen depletion sensor protection, it can be also installed indoors where is well ventilated"
What's the minimum GPM this thing needs to mix properly? I'm trying to decide between this and a Bosch 7 gallon electric water heater. Most tankless water heaters have to waste a lot of water before they start to get hot.
This one was great, it fired pretty much instantly every time.. I had the 45psi pump running with it the shower was the 5L tankless I believe.
You said the boiler was £180 and I couldn't hear what the other item you mentioned was but you said it was £50 that only comes to £230 so what are the other parts that take it up to the just under £350 that you mention? thanks
Hi Berty it’s been a while since I did this! Perhaps this video will help you with costing and parts Camplux shower | Shower vanlife

Can you use inside?
No, they’re for outdoor use only and need to have good ventilation, if you want an indoor shower then you should look to buy a propex, truma and alternative boiler designed for indoor use and external venting :-)
Why are you in the road?
Because the driveway backs onto the road
Came to say the same thing. There is plenty of space for you to have parked parallel to the road. Causeing uncalled for inconveniences for everyone driving. Taking up the whole lane for your project is real inconsiderate. Then you walk off and leave it in the way of everything, like wow.
