      Anthony Smith is a bitter moron. Of course Jon isnt the best at every craft, NO ONE IS. Its the guy that can put it all together hence "Mixed Martial Arts" that becomes the best. If it were that easy an unbeatable Olympic gold medalist can just come into UFC and tear through everyone?...It doesnt work like that. The wrestling will help but you need to be a little good at everything , which Jon does better than anyone. His point made 0 sense.

    We’ve all seen JBJ embarrass other professional fighters. When he’s on, nobody beats him. We haven’t seen that in a while though. I can see Jon really struggling against Frances, Stipe, or Blaydes. I can also see him fucking them all up in the first round. All of them. If he’s in shape, and he’s taking it all seriously......nobody messes with Jon.

    • @paulcox2447
      @paulcox2447 Рік тому +3

      Dude we haven't seen that in how long like 5 years?
      Because John and his last couple fights sure as fuck didn't look like that. You put him in there with someone else about his size who's athletic and he was having real problems at the end.
      Dominic Reyes gave him everything he can handle and as we found out he's not that amazing.

      @@paulcox2447 he was at the top for such a long time at the top so young and the guy has always had demons. It's obvious that he's his own worst enemy but Jon fans don't use that as an excuse to cover his less dominant performances... they use it to further a narrative that was already true even if you had no excuses for his possible defeats in Reyes/Gus fights. He's the goat and ya ppl can make arguments about gsp being #1 or khabib just outright being the most dominant in their run at the top but nah those are semantics when it comes to ranking guys. Jon will be #1 even with those less dominant performances even with the ped usage drama. It's for the same reason Chael said he'd always bet on him. We don't know how great he was because he never gave 100% and he still reached a level of success in the octagon than handfuls of other great fighters that gave 100% + had better experience + had better training + had better xyz. You have to give credit to his body and the stats of his reach etc but where does the other credit go? He was creative and dynamic earlier on most likely because nobody could answer to his threats regardless of what he did. After getting caught in a couple of fights his style became less dynamic except he was able to take all that creativeness and funnel it into actual gameplans which just showed how his fight IQ developed alongside his reign at the top. Certainly the competition got better but so did he even if he was hurting his legacy outside the cage. Delusional is trying to take away his amazingness because you wanna look at his career under a lens of negativity. Don't gotta respect him as a man and you can even try to discredit his success with ped usage but his skill/fight IQ is what will always make him one of the greatest fighters to have ever done it regardless of the wins/losses

    Basketball had Wilt Chamberlain. ...MMA has Jon Bones Jones. Some guys can bone 100k bi*ches & still break every record known to man. Or in Jon's case do coke & behave like a basket case. But I'm sure you get my meaning. His intellect, along w/ his physical gifts are what make him. Head & shoulders above everyone else. When you factor in things like durability, versatility, creativity, endurance, instincts, coachability etc. Jones is off the charts as a competitor.

  • @danm9297
    @danm9297 Рік тому +11

    Anthony left out one of Jon’s biggest strengths. He just has a complete instinctive lack of compassion for the welfare of others, and you can see it in his striking. Just a ruthlessness when it comes to hurting people, it just doesn’t faze him at all. He can just calmly flick a switch and release his full physical power on someone, he really wouldn’t mind if they died. Seems crazy to say all fighters don’t have this, but there’s just something different about him. Others have to be angry to act this way towards another human, but Jon can can enter any situation and flick that switch at will.

    '''''''I will always bet on Jon Jones to win…'''''' wow! talk about ''''0''''' risks bet . who would bet against jones,especially since he's now a heavy weight ? who in this division can compete and beat jones? if ever he is half of what he was before his 3 years hiatus, there is certainly nobody in there who is only able to scratch his face lol.Jon Jones as heavyweight is a gigantic spill of talent.

    Luv him or hate him.. jpnes is the best mma fighter in history.
    Crazy how all his drug use, alcohol abuse etc out the cage aint do squat to that lol.. 100% of fighters who do that end up suffering performance in the cage..
    Not to mention Jones also has the skinniest legs ever. All that and still.. the man is a specimen. 1 of a kind.
    Jones is the only fighter in history in his fights whom drinks pure vodka from his water bottle and a coke toke instead of salt in the middle of the round rest breaks.

    Funny that each time Jon's lost it was because of himself 🤣
    I'd bet money that if Tyson Fury and Jon had a boxing match that went on until someone got KO'd and had no decisions that Jon would win. Same with the UFC, I don't see any way to finish Jon, just run from him and strike at range like Reyes did to try sneak the decision.

    • @grape1310
      @grape1310 Рік тому

      You're definitely wrong. It's hilarious how little you guys know about boxing. Tyson Fury vs Jon Jones is a walk in the park for Fury. Jon is not a great boxer. As a kickboxer he is great, Jon is not as a boxer. How is someone who's never boxed supposed to defeat an undefeated world champ 6'9 275 pound Tyson Fury?

    • @grape1310
      @grape1310 Рік тому

      Fury has a lot more power in his hands than Jon as well, Jon doesn't hit that hard for light heavyweight let alone heavyweight. Jon isn't going to be faster than Fury on his feet, nor is he going to be able to use 75% of his MMA toolkit. With just his hands Fury is far more skilled, faster, hits harder, is more precise, and Fury has fought in boxing far more, is way more used to the round structure, and Fury has a big size and weight advantage. How is Jon going to KO Tyson Fury when Deyontay Wilder couldn't?
