Finally a collection where the garage itself is designed just as elegantly as the cars presented within its walls. Anyway, this is very inspiring so thanks so much for posting. Lastly, congratulations to the owner!
And I thought my garage he was really nice.. Holy cow that’s stunning 😍
True!
The garage itself is a design masterpiece....the collection is stunning! I would take a walk through it every night before bed....
Agreed!
I feel like there is no friend, he owns all these cars and his wife just has no idea.
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH!
Tax evasion
Lol I was wondering the same thing.
I too have an imaginary friend .
But honey they belong to a "friend" , I swear.
That Singer is the thing dreams are made of! Also that black car with the chop top was absolutely fabulous!
THE BEST VIDEO !!! We want more, videos, from your "friend".
Agreed!
@@BadBlonde-CarHistory nice videos. Keep going, I watch your channel.
@@MrNicu603 thank you 🙌
I would gladly watch a video about the garage itself. Beautifully designed... and the lighting is fabulous! The architecture perfectly showcases the drama and passion prevalent in the car design! Tasteful and passionate.
*THIS MAN really keeps saying "my friend" like we dont know this is your crib!!*
*thanks so much for sharing!! this was absolutely incredible!! the quality here is unparalleled*
I’ve met the owner of this collection before and can assure you he is not the man in the video.
@@Peloton25 first of all give the comment a like, second of all bless up KING, more of a joke then anything, be well tho
@@YukiTsunoda7 why would I offer approval by way of a Like for a comment that isn’t factual?
Even better question, why does anyone liking your comment actually matter?
@@Peloton25 lmfao!!, have you ever heard this saying before in your life..."if you find yourself in a hole, stop digging"?
put the shovel down, no one cares about you
@@YukiTsunoda7 I’ve heard it, yes. And I assume you’ll now be taking your own advice? 🙄
Your friend has one Hell of a car collection.
YEpP!
Stunning collection! The Peterson Automotive collection videos never disappoint!! Beautiful surroundings too! 👌🏼
Amazing, thank you for sharing what a spectacular collection and garage.
Could his friend be Tyler durden?
Fantastic..well done Sir.. please do more. John from Australia
Love the Singer. If I got and F1 it would be an LM. Put a T50S next to it!!!!!
Two small corrections on the comments in the presentation on the F1. McLaren debuted the F1 in 1992 not 1995 and the V12 engine is 6.1L, not 6.0L. - Otherwise a great presentation and I’m glad he highlighted how much the current owner uses that car since this isn’t a true story for most of the F1’s.
Also that might be the most expensive car in the garage, last market check from me was around $12-$18M, and very well spent
Hey Eric, in a few places I've been reading/hearing conflicting facts about the F1 being the first carbon fibre monocoque production car. It seems pretty clear that the XJR-15 beat the F1 to that title but did McLaren ever claim that the F1 was the first ?
Is there any notable offender that caused this 'fact' to gain traction ?
Andynath100 sorry for the late reply. Over the years I've seen people suggest that both the EB110 and XJR-15 deserve that title. My understanding is that both of those have a mixture of carbon fiber and Kevlar in their monocoque. That said, even the F1 isn't fully carbon fiber as there are areas with a sandwiched layer of aluminum honeycomb where it made sense to do so. Probably the same story for others as well.
@@Peloton25 Thanks for taking the time. I figured it was down to some difference in the definition of a 'carbon fiber car' or a triviality.
You must have seen it but there is a fascinating video called 'Mclaren F1 Chassis the inside story' by a channel called David Skertchly which goes into the build process of the monocoque. They claim to be part of the original team.
The beautiful Ferrari Daytona spider 🤗
From The Best car movie ever made:
1976 "The Gumball Rally" !!! 😎👍
Thank you so much for taking the time to make my day much more enjoyable. I love the C-Type and the McLaren F1.
Glad you enjoyed it!
13:00 I get what he is saying, but it's also a bit of a stretch to call the F1 analogue, I mean the damn thing literally has a modem in it, for remote diagnosis!!!
Money no object. Great taste.
WOW! Really good car collection! (Vittorio Jano was the designer of the alfa romeo, Vittorio Jano was born in Italy, but both hes parents was from Hungary)
Congratulations to the owner of the garage and the cars, the “friend” certainly has the eye for some of the sexiest cars ever built and for architecture, absolutely awesome... I think the next purchase should be a 275GTB Speciale
Super expensive collection ..wow very nice
When I heard he put 10k on the f1 he got my respect
Great car collection, the McLaren F1 was a 6.1 litre v12 and the boot space is the same as a Ford Fiesta. Great cars.
Best car show I’ve ever seen
This is close to the perfect (type?) of collection for me. A lot of true car enthousiast cars. Rare, immaculate in condition, tasteful specifications, bang factory original and kept in a beautiful garage
Magnificent collection,WOW,WOW,WOW
Terrific presentation, great job Carter! What a collection! How can I get my hands on that Alfa? Would love a return if more in the collection. Thanks to "my friend", Carter, and The Pete!
I'm here for the F1 baby!
Great video, really enjoyed the tour!!! 👍👍👍👍
Awesome! Really enjoyed this. Thanks!
Finally we have found a gentleman who pronounce Lancia properly, thanks God!
I guess Ive never really noticed on the pre war cars that there is a lot of positive camber. It makes sense with your explanation of their flexible chassis. Just an interesting observation.
Love the F1
In the first few moments of the video, I thought I was looking at an Avions Voisin, but it was the Type C.
Great video!
Don't get it... Such a amazing page, yet so little views. You guys deserve more
Great video! Thanks for presentation.
Mario Andrettj, isn't classed by the F1 as being American.
But Italian as of where he was born.
So Phil Hill is officially the only American to win the F1 crown.
The F-1 “ is Becoming a famous car” 🤣
In my opinion there are 2 perfect automobile collections ... Ralph Lauren Bruce Meyer and now this collection is my 3rd favorite 😊
The Miles Collier collection is also stunning, and is open to the public.
That FIAT 8V needs a Maserati A6 Zagato companion
Amazing information from Mr P. X
The Targa Florio stopped in 1970
This is Rob Walton's collection.
What a garage!
Awesome ❤️🔥
Incredible taste
Is the F1 depicted in the thumbnail the one that used to belong to Elon Musk back in the '90s?
I believed he crashed and didn't repair his example but I could be wrong. Great question.
@Cain1251 yes, this owner’s F1 is chassis 067 and was previously owned by Elon Musk from 1999 through 2008. @@NoGoodHandlesComingToMind Musk’s accident in March 2000 was not very severe and the car was repaired by McLaren. His biggest pain point was not being insured at the time of the crash. Once back fell Woking, he continued to drive it frequently afterwards, up until the point it was sold.
@@Peloton25 I doubt he cares, he could buy every F1 that exists easily
@@ArtVandelayOfficial he cared in March 2000 when the accident happened. Things are obviously quite different for him today.
thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
this guys feels so boring that even death avoids him. Btw, the cars are awesome
McLaren speedtail is center seat
Anyone else thought the 911 was a ruf yellow bird ar first
It's good to be rich
Take a shot everytime he says "cahr".
Who's your friend? appreciating somebody's car collection without knowing the collector isn't fun enough.
Is your friend Bruce Wayne?🦇
Crème de la crème
The continuous, neverending "Ah"s were hard to suffer
Fiat 8V Otto Vu....thats why it's not called V8. Vu Otto has no sing to it.
Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned
from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the
Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas
station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel
pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in
the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems,
turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and
New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be
done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of
crime here, called emissions and smoke crime accoring to the new BABVVO law of Mrs Bärbock :-(//==)
13:00 analog? mclearen f1 - tunnable thru internet from factory. Active aero with fans. Pimped out computer managed engine. Am i a joke to you?
@hagestad There is a difference between 'mechanical' and 'analogue'
He means the control points of the car which the driver interacts with have no assistance. No power steering, no TC, no ABS brakes, no stability control. It was never 'tunable' through internet. It transmitted diagnostic/fault codes.
Hydraulic steering,no abs or DSC traction control or active suspension
Enjoyable but that’s not how you pronounce Lancia, think the new Maclaren Speedtail has the same 3 seat set up as the F1.
Jay Leno car #16 of #67 McLaren F1 made.. To my knowledge all original McLaren F1's are center seat driven...
Jay Leno’s F1 is chassis 015 - McLaren produced 64 F1 road cars.
@@Peloton25 Well I was only a few numbers off. I was watching a video on Jay's car. I paused the video when they panned over the number plate. The video was slightly blurry when I paused the video..
@@scottbecker3563 no worries- I have been doing my best to help people keep the stories straight on the F1 for 20 years. If you have any questions I’m happy to help. 👍🏻
@@Peloton25 As a huge F1 fan myself, I've seen you around a lot and appreciate your efforts!
Hasn't this already been posted?
This is an all new tour- it does have a similar title to other videos on our channel.
@@PetersenMuseum Thank you for the clarification.
No heaven so title is silly.
nope entire body is not carbon fiber on that singer.
Maybe except front and rear bumper but yes everything is carbon
For once an american gentleman who has indepth knowlegde of european cars. Great cars except the Lancia Aurelia B20 "Outlaw" It is sacrilege to turn such a genious car into such a mongrel.
Why is this clown talking down to us?
