Still no proof of fighting or even proof of TOY gun in the store. Listened to the phone call,. Middle eastern acted like a Karen. Lets see the store video. It didn't go down like Hockmead said, burn it down too.

@@stevemangram Wrong. The kids led the police officer to the bb gun (which looks like a real semi automatic handgun), which was thrown in a bush close to the store.
This same news station has another video on it titled "'I thought I was going to die.' | Gun pulled on teens during Clayton County police stop", which shows a picture of the exact gun.
As to "Middle eastern acted like a Karen", you're just showing YOUR racism.
As to "burn it down too", you're a violent thug and need to turn your life over to Jesus. You can't even wait for evidence before saying that? Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!

@@Edd0614 4 against 1. They had a gun. So the cop is not allowed to protect himself? Puhlease. 26 cops had been shot dead in the line of duty in 2020, at the time this happened. There was a gun somewhere. Maybe one of the "kids" was going to pull it out and start shooting. Cops are not mind readers. It takes seconds to become #27 on the list. Maybe you need some training on what its like to be a cop. Take a ride along one day.

Orcinus1967 so because they had a gun he should just automatically pull his shit out despite the fact he didn’t see it with his own 2 eyes? He was supposed to automatically believe the white man was telling the truth about some black kids having a gun? I carry my gun everyday. I don’t expect no police to run up on me with their gun drawn just because I got a gun... they didn’t shoot nobody.... they didn’t rob nobody

@@Edd0614 The officer is not a mind reader. He has no idea what is in the minds of those young men. He was outnumbered. 26 officers shot dead this year. It was only June. He's not going to be #27. If the neighborhood had as bad an attitude towards you, I'm thinking you would have your gun drawn too. All speculation on our parts. I've never been a cop, don't carry a gun. Never had to enforce the law. Cheers.

When I was their age, if something like that happened and my parents found out, I wouldn’t be able to sit down for a few days, because my bottom would be to sore from dad’s belt or mom’s hairbrush. That’s exactly what those five boys need. The Police Officer didn’t do anything wrong, he did something right. Let’s understand one another, I don’t care what color the boys were, green, blue, pink, or half white on one side black on the other, what they did was wrong, period.
Don’t tell me it only happens to black kids, it happened to my son and his friends one evening years ago in Avondale Estates, Georgia. The Police brought them home and told us what they were up too, and I don’t think I need to tell you what happened to them. I’ve got friends that have had the same thing happened with their kids in Conyers, Geogia years ago. Your not alone, your a parent, I’m a parent and we’re scared for our kids safety. Sometimes sore bottoms go a long way to help keep our kids safe and out of trouble, it did for my friends and I years ago.

I threw my dinner on the floor (broke the plate) and went downstairs to mess everything up....my grandma just let it happen..when my folks got back they were reasonably shocked and told me I'm in big trouble...got a good spanking that night...funny thing about is, I never really acted out like that again. I always thought about the consequences of actions after that....maybe some of these kids needed that lesson....probably too late now

Just Saying

    • @Synergy44454
      @Synergy44454 4 роки тому +9

Vanessa Alston They didn’t need to find their fingerprints on the gun. They cracked and told them exactly where it was. I hate dirty cops and cops that stay discriminating against race, but every case isn’t a race issue. The cops didn’t just randomly find the gun in this case. Two of the boys told them where to look. Of course not all children are out getting in trouble and these kids weren’t really “getting in trouble” either. The cops that showed up were just trying to make sure it wasn’t a REAL gun. These cops handled it well compared to how some other cops I’ve had contact with would have handled it. When you see cops handling situations well, point it out so that when the ones that aren’t get caught doing something they shouldn’t, it will actually mean something. If we say it’s always about race and they can never do their job without someone saying they’re wrong, nobody will take it seriously when they get caught actually doing something really wrong.

You all need to watch the complete body cam video. I'm a TI fan, but he has this one wrong. These boys clearly needs some guidance. Why are they flashing a gun that looks real in a store. With everything that's going on, WE as black people have to be responsible also. We have to speak to our young black boys and hopefully get through to them! Cops are not always wrong. This situation was escalated by the adults that pulled up on the scene and started to antagonize the officer. They made it worse and thankfully it was a like minded officer that understands our community, as opposed to someone that was nervous and has an itchy trigger finger! Black folks, we need to have a family meeting and hold ourselves accountable in this situation!

This is ridiculous! I've been on several calls similar to this one. I have taken several replica rifles, handguns and pellet guns away from teens and adults, without incident. What I don't understand is the parents, who, in this day and age, would go out and purchase their child anything that replicates a handgun or rifle. When officers are dispatched to gun calls, how are they suppose to respond to that call? Most of the parents in areas of America have no idea where their children are, until the police are involved. Interesting, how the kids were all of a sudden, so frightened. This situation deserves no attention. As for the activist, that once lived in the hood. He knows first hand how easy it is for a kid to get his or her hands on a gun. Thank you, Chief, for having the courage to stand up for your deputies that responded to that call. Thank you for not allowing the current atmosphere to choked you with fear because you just so happen to be a "Black Chief." Thank you for your professionalism!

We need to let them do their job and if you are not guilty of anything and act like you should in a respectful manner, you would probably come out on the winning side, especially with all of the Videos going on! All officers are not bad, they just want to do their job and when there is resistance they go in fear mode. I have had two bad experiences with Officers for just a traffic stop and did not need the tone of voice of which they spoke to me, but I remained calm and answered the questions and still to this day, I feel violated because it was not necessary, but if that made him feel good, so be it! When they leave home each day, they don't know if they will return, so this can be a two-edged sword situation!!

The cop saw a water gun which looked like a tech-9 that was spray painted satin black . So guess what happens next? The cop yells is that a gun as he pulls his gun on us. All we did is stay cool put our hands up and tell him it wasn’t real that it was a water gun. He confirmed and it was all cool no problems. So nope it’s not always a race issue and people can’t always play the poor me victim role.
The BB gun also looks pretty real so yes cops will be cautious and treat it as real till they can prove otherwise. If they don’t it could cost them their life.

L B How can you say this doesn’t happen to white kids? You MUST be assuming because I’m white and this SAME exact situation happened to me when I was younger. Me and four other friends all had two police cars pull up and were all ordered to lie on the ground face first and put our hands behind our heads until we were each searched. These kids weren’t even ordered to the ground. They got “better” treatment than we did at the time. We were playing with a BB gun and an airsoft pellet gun but they looked pretty real and a neighbor called the police.
They called our parents to come get us and we were all told not to take realistic looking guns in public because we could end up getting shot. I remember because I got in a whole lot of trouble when I got home for it. My parents had already warned me not to be taking them away from the house. This definitely does happen to white kids in my experience.

After listening to this..I'm flabbergasted..You will never see better policing than what you just saw. Its a damn shame that these adults around these kids are making it about the police. Not about the kids who had a gun (BB Gun) 911 called police respond to what he thought was kids with a gun. Of course the Officer was scared. He didn't want to have to hurt one of those kids. You Adults should be ashamed of yourselves for stirring this pot.

If you look at the bodycam you will see this is completely different. The mom saying she was not contacted, the officer asked the young men if they wanted to call their parents and you could all hear them say "yes". We can't seem to know what we want. I watched the police chief's press conference first, them looked for the bodycam video before I watched this video. I feel like they are hyping this up. The police officer said to them multiple times they are ok. He repeatedly said what was going on and why he was there. We ask for police to be able to defuse situations but when one does defuse a situation, we want him fired too? Watch the entire bodycam video then explain how you want it to be handled. We gotta have one message or no message at all. And before anyone asked, I have had my own situations of DWB so I know how it feels to be in this position.

Watch the complete video, cop handled it perfectly. The report was of teens with a gun, BB gun recovered. Nobody got shot and cop acted with complete respect.

Poor TI looking for much needed approval from the group. When will he learn that man is very fickle? To bad he has to live for this approval.

Yea seriously. Plus more unarmed white people are killed by cops each year so the idea that white people are abused by cops is wrong. Doing more crimes than any other groups is the reason for them being brutalized at a higher rate per capita.

TI should talk about what he was doing as a young boy.. We all know he was carrying real guns.. Now he wants to act like he's some kind of do gooder after all the poisoning of young black men's minds he's done with gangsta rap.. Y'all aren't fooling anyone that actually has common sense..

The Issue here is what the cop did and how he reacted was Totally Unnecessary! Thats the Issue! The 14 year old Black Children are still alive because of the intervention of those responsible onlookers! This is why Black Lives Matters! You still want to talk about the so call all lives matters? Well I sure don't see any non Blacks being pointed a gun into their faces!
