This tutorial helped more than any others I have watched, but I still am still not feeling I really "get it". The in-game tutorial is useless. It seems the pictures on the cards are not important and the "telling a story" with them is just flavor nonsense. The more I play, I am seeing how the combos work and can help win. One of the suits has some synergy that I can see might be useful for being able to maybe turn the patrons' favor to you in one or two hands. Another suit seems useful for pumping your power up that you can use to convert to prestige at the end of the turn and get to 40 quicker. As a very casual MTG player, I can see some similarities. It looks interesting in concept, but I think they need a little work in explaining it better in game. Thanks for this tutorial, it has been the most helpful so far.
I really appreciate that! Thank you so much. I completely agree with you, when I did the tutorial for the first time, it made NO sense at all. I then basically ditched it and self taught myself, sometimes with a friend too... Playing it though is a really good way to learn!
It took me a while to get used to it as well... Best thing to do is play it casually with a friend or activity finder, non competitive. Get used to it and experiment with different patrons and decks. I'd love to show more on TOT so perhaps I will now!
I think console vs. pc here was a problem. I tried ToT and couldn't figure out how to select a card. Noob issue obviously. But still frustrating. I conceded the match. Honestly terrible tutorial in game and bad user experience in game IMO. This is something you have to want to do to learn it.
