Hey everyone, hope you enjoy the new guide! There is another video in the works that gets into detail on the Patron power specifically. Thank you for all of the support and for sticking with me while I continue to figure out how to improve audio quality and pacing!
Great vid as usual. Discovered your channel a couple days ago and was bummed the most recent video was 9 months ago. I just started playing tribute last week. The video on Deck Cycling was a huge help to me in becoming not a super noob.
Thanks for the kind words! Yeah I took some time away mostly due to personal reasons but am looking to upload a lot more frequently now. Still have a bunch of tribute videos planned out. And yeah the deck cycling guide is what I am most proud of :) So glad to hear it helped everyone!
Thank you. NPCs in the main quest arc are picking this deck. This helps a LOT as my first strategy was simply avoidance of the deck, and focusing on the other 3 decks, in that match. Philanthropy Agents sound great ... or devastating.
Really great overview and strat presentation PinkApple. I play Almalexia a lot, and you are dead on with you assessment. I see a lot of less seasoned players picking up those contract agents early, because it seems powerful. I don't look to pick those up without having one other Alma agent available, and looking at the timing of the opponent's cool down (so...picking it up and playing it after they play power cards and I have the ability to take them out of the game). If you are on the other side of the table on this (someone using it against you so that all your cards are trapped) then using Crow patron to jailbreak the cards should be done earlier rather than later if you have that option. See you on the leaderboards!
Thanks for the kind words! And I totally agree with using the crow patron power if things are looking dire early on, similarly to how I would recommend doing that against Clan Witch and Elder Witch should you have no other agent removal options.
I agree, I think I've seen the early crow strategy for power generation and agent breaking used more often recently... If the other player takes your cue and starts turning it back, you can actually play an Orgnum-like push and pull with just crows, had a game like that last week.
@@PinkAppleYT omg I wasnt expecting a reply as I thought youd moved on from posting! No pressure but ive basically binge watched all of your content and would love to see more haha
Thank you, PinkApple! I know these vids take a lot of effort to make, but have you thought about making an "update on the older ToT decks video? Given how some card's worth has changed with the various patches?
Hey pink, great stuff as usual, but feel like you skipped the Patron power, which is kind of fun, because you can consistently shunt good cards from an opponents next draw, effectively negating any card you wish for at least one turn. It's also generally speaking, quite an easy condition to meet, 1 gold or discard or both, not really much of a loss on many turns, especially with good economy. That also makes Mother's Mercy even more valuable because you can negate that disadvantage with it in your hand. It also sets up the Hunding refresh cards to be of slightly better value, especialy the 2 refresh agent. Also would like to add that I generally do not like Almalexia paired with Red Eagle, the first and only deck realistically to actually not work all that well with Red Eagle, or at least you're discouraged from getting more aggressive with your card deletion, which is kind of the point in most red eagle games.
The patron power will actually be getting an entire video! Is a lot of complexity to it. And yes I do agree there is definitely some counter-synergy with deleting all of your donate options with red eagle. It may still be a powerful combo, but it definitely has some awkward moments and I think will take quite a while for the playerbase to find the perfect balance of deletion. Thanks for the feedback!
Perfect video ty. Content idea but i would legit watch ur matches while u voice over ur thought process n decision making. Like a from start to finish. And editing a voice over afterwards. Doesnt have to be real time. ijs.
Hey! I am a bit confused as to what you are referring to as almost all the upgrades are clue based. Besides the clue-based upgrades, there is achievements for each deck around using their patron power 10 times in match-made games versus other players, and that will upgrade 1 card for each deck. Any questions let me know and I will be sure to clarify :)
Yes will be updated guides for the previous decks, and they will follow the format of this Almalexia deck, more of a "guide" to the deck overall, with a quick recap of everything during the tierlist section!
This and Raj just make for such gruellingly long and boring games a lot of the time. If I see either one being picked I just go full on power rush decks, like Hermaeus preferrably

Great video. Looking forward to the one talking about the patron.
I am glad to see you back at it! This video has helped me understand this deck so much better! Glad to have ya back and look forward to more! :)
🍻
Glad it helped! Keep up the awesome lead guides yourself :)
Awesome, thanks. This is the 1st analysis of this deck, but TBH even if there was another it wouldn't count until I'd seen yours!
Haha, thanks for the support! And sorry it took so long to come out :D
Thank you, thank you! Great video! And I'm curious to see what vids you will create next. Please continue the good work! 😁
Of course, thanks for the unlock guides! I've used a couple myself personally :)
ive played that Athena550 person before! they play tons of pro strat moves
Yeah they are pretty good! I've heard rumors they like to bully players out of using their agents though so watch out.
Would love to see some gameplay from you in general. Maybe 3 matches per video or something.
100% It would be great to have content with ToT gameplay with commentary, nwm wins or loses

Hey Pink Apple, I was wondering if you’ll ever make a Hermaeus Mora deck guide?
Currently writing the script!

Can you do a video on how to unlock upgrades besides getting clues please 🙏🏾
