Nice to see you back Don.Looking FWD to see that engine running. Im the same way in the heat.I just take it easy in July & August just started driving my 55 recently sat for months,LOL!
Hey Big Don, wow it's been awhile, yeah i'm sure you been busy and it's hot too, but nice to see you and put a video out, i really like the little corner you put together, that's cool, the cars are looking good as usual, looking forward to the 55 rag firing up, catch you soon buddy & have a great week😁😁
Glad to see your still at it. Mabey on those hot humid days you can sit in the shade with a cold beverage of your choice and just admire those slick Tri Fives. Have a good one Don.
Hey Big Don, cars are looking good brother! Only so much you can do in the heat and humidity, tough on the ol body when it’s that hot, you do what you can, when you can, every little bit gets you one step closer! Enjoy the weekend buddy!
Looks good Don , I know the hot in the shop feeling and I’ve not been doing much in the shop either . Life certainly does fill up the days and the work all day and work have the night in the shop just don’t happen for this old boy . Keep plugging away your eye for the original details on your cars is awesome. RR
Really good to hear from you! The convertible is looking great! Then before you know it, it’s too cold to work on them! Reckon that’s why California is so crowded. Anyway, always fun to see your videos!
Good to see ya back Buddy! I know what you mean about the weather, is Midwest guys get to deal with the hot and humid, seems like all it's done here lately is rain all summer. When you decide to let that nomad loose ya never know may I be interested
Yeah the summers can be tough to work around in. I'm looking forward to some cooler days, we've had alot of 90 plus days. I sure will keep you in mind on the old Nomad. Talk to you later Buddy
Brother, we all get busy living and there's nothing wrong with that. I've been busy just living too, I'll eventually put out another video too. Convertible is looking good with that lower stance in the front.
Hey Bud yeah this heat as been crazy for sure, And the oh 55 coming along 👍. Sorry I had to laugh about the oh Nomad driving like a Battle ship. I remember driving a couple old 50s and 60s old trucks i quess that's why the steering wheel was so big 🤷 maybe. Bud Glad to see you u , But going to be winter for u know it .👍✌️
Love watching your updates. Also love the tri-fives. My dream car would be a '56 wagon. So nice. Btw, there is a guy in St. Pete, Florida that just acquired tons of tri-fives parts of you are interested.
Thanks Buddy! You should be able to find a 56 Wagon fairly easily and for a decent price. Good luck on the search. Shipping would be a major problem on your buddies parts, I live in Ohio. Later 👍
I live in Vegas. I dont have a shop or garage to work in. Just my patio. All work on my projects are dead for the summer with 114 degrees everyday ... so I get it. I have 3 more Triumph Spitfires to restore come fall.
Although my 55 is nose high I like your convertible down low. Just have to cruise it. It's weird how the temps didn't affect us when we were younger. I'm like should I drive my 55 or my daily late model pickup? I guess I like the cold AC in this desert heat.😊
Hey Gorni Your 55 is certainly 1 of a kind I love it. I wanted the convertible to have a nice stance. Nothing like cold ac on a hot day. Have a good one Buddy 👍
I know what your talking about when it comes to the heat. We just went through 2 heat waves of in the tipple digits at around 80% humidity. Did you ever get the clip for the carb side of the lineage? I just found a box of some old clips that might be what you were looking for, just let me know. Good to see you making progress. I'm tying to as well, one day at a time.
@monadking2761 Thanks Harvey! The heat is terrible to work in glad it's just about past. I still do need the clip or or might change the end to a cotter pin. Later Buddy
It's not destroyed if it can easily be put back to original . Destroyed would be if he cut the top off of one of the wagons to make it into an El Camino .
Good to see your vids back. All your 55 56 57 s are awesome.
Thanks Buddy. I'm trying to get them all just right. Later 👍
love the original under the hood. thank you
Your attention to detail on these cars makes them head and shoulders above the rest... Love seeing it Don!!
Thanks Chaz
Good to see you back,on the videos I really like the interior in the convert
@@paulelarson1912 Thanks Paul
Always enjoyable to see what's going on at Don's Hot Rod Garage. The convertible sits perfect and great job with nailing the amount of coils to cut.
Glad to see you back! Take it steady, that's what I do. Everyone and everything wants your time.
Thanks Lee. Your got that right man

I was thinking the same thing man. It's some simple front springs. Later Buddy 👍
How does your 55 Chevy set Terrence?
