Delicate, lovely confections! Would be very effective as cake decorations if made with food safe dyes. I can imagine a wedding cake embellished with your flowers and butterflies. So charming! Your nails are tastefully natural and refreshing, also.

Hi Gi! Your watercolor flowers and butterflies are lovely! Very realistic looking and pretty. They can brighten up anything and everything! The wetting, crinkling, & drying is the trick! I don't have the die cuts to use, so I will be cutting mine with scissors. TFS

Hi Gi, Many thanks for the flower tutorial. They are just the job. With Tim Holtz’s distressed oxide colours they are perfect , very Arty. I was lucky I had everything to hand in my stash so I have inked some papers up ready for the off tomorrow . I believe you live in Portugal, I lived in the Algarve for 15 years and returned in 2017

Really great technique..! I've done something similar but used cardstock and it tended to tear... Never thought of watercolor paper... I'm sure watercolor paper will hold up better. Thank you so much!

These are really lovely Gi, light, airy, and quite feminine. I can tell this is going to be one of those little projects that become addicting, can't make just one! Puedes hacer los pistilos con algún hilo grueso ,pasarlos por cola fría y esperar que se sequen. Las puntas se vuelven a mojar con cola y se entintan. Es mi humilde opinión.

Hi 👋🏻 Gi, those flowers are gorgeous!❤️ No, I don’t have any, can’t make them!😢 I do love those, they are so beautiful! Hugs!❤️😘
You can try other kinds of inks like tempera, inexpensive watercolors, food coloring, distress inks, even acrylic paint diluted with water. Or you can take the barrels out of inexpensive markers, let them soak in some alchohol and then mix the ink with water. Many ways if you want to play with inks. A warning though, it's messy, but fun.
Don't have a die cut machine or flower punch.These are so pretty!
