Best places I've been for atmosphere is celtic, dortmund and galatasaray. Never been to a game in England, but those 3 are my favourites. Turkey was a little dangerous for away fans, but Scotland and Germany were good fun and friendly home fans.

Best times we had atmosphere was when we wer in big or semi big competitions but still underrated, 04-08 and 2012-2014 being the primary years for me, i'd imagine for most the late 90s/ early 2000s was quality but nothing will beat the 60s-80s for our atmosphere
And to answer your question the atmosphere last Sunday was horrific it’s getting worse and worse at anfield it’s sad to see really usually better in midweek when there’s more young scouse lads getting tickets

Eastern Europe always have really loyal and loud ultras and Germany are always gonna have the best fans behind them but English fans are extremely passionate and loud about their club and national team. Especially Liverpool, man utd, and Newcastle. Many lower league football teams have extremely passionate fans and even non league games get thousands of attendees

The Taylor report following Hillsborough kickstarted the demise of English football atmospheres. The game in England used to be for the working classes, but now crowds are largely middle class. All seater stadia and hugely expensive ticket prices are to blame for that.
@@AbdulRehman_192 it was a result of LFCs shit form in recent weeks and the frustration of the poor performance against Palace was much more noticeable then it normally is. A run of poor results doesn't usually affect the Anfield crowd but the absolutely abysmal football LFC have showed in recent matches did. Hopefully with the recent win and good performance against Fulham will give a more special end to the season and give Klopp the send off he deserves.
One of the best atmosferes I've ever seen (in Europe because South America is just something else, England may have invented the sport, but South America created the passion) was at the olimpico in Rome, those fans are incredible, they can turn their stadium into an arena, into hell for the opponents, they could beat real Madrid there. Roma fans are the most South American-like fans in Europe, even Dybala said that if I'm not mistaken and if a South American says that it's for sure true, their pride is unmatched.
People leave early because of the traffic..cuz anfield stadium is located in a residential area and the roads are very small...during match days the traffic is terrible near anfield
i’ve been studying in liverpool for 3 years now and i feel that UCL european nights are far better than UEL. especially when sitting in the kop end during the UEL group stages, it wasn’t as good as i hope it’d be. as for the prem, the atmosphere has been great prior and after klopps departure announcement but slowly fading due to our poor form. but when compared to city and united, our ground’s atmosphere are far more superior
People leave early usually to get a less full train or bus back home but if you have a car staying the 90 minutes is worth it just know where to go to get out
