The good thing about a module like this is I can load it up in VCV again and play around and see if I like it. I’ve used it in the past but it didn’t stick in my memory. Down the line I might build a new rack and move my O_c I got from you guys and combine it with some mutable modules like veils and something like this or another module for sending triggers.
This must be the most expensive way to create a beat and I love it hahaha. I bought the Dice from you guys and thanks to this video I am sure I will get more out of that module. Thank you!
Oh no, there are much more expensive ways. Welcome to eurorack. Seriously though, Marbles is very powerful and I’d recommend it to just about anyone. Being able to quickly generate a decent sounding drum pattern that is perfectly in tune with your master clock is very useful.
It’s either Hemispheres or Benispheres, you can’t tell from the video. I’d recommend Phazerville if you are looking for a really full featured O&C that can do Hemispheres as well as all the original applets.
Pachinko looks really fun I've been eyeing it for a while. I have a super small system got the Beehive and then a filter, vca's and some utilities. Researching what I want next and I am wondering how would the Pachinko, Beehive and Qarv all interact? I'm thinking this could offer quite a few hours of exploration. Would you recommend this combo? or something else first?
Now that MI modules are going to become collector items soon, any chance on a full size version of Pachinko to match Marbles? Or is there something in the licensing that prevents this?
No you can print them full size from github. You can even have them printed with most of the passive components soldered on but the trickiest chips and microcontroller you have to solder on.
I thought that too at first but if you are used to using Marbles, the Y channel is in the center and it would be weird to have it on one side. It’s kind of an unfortunate design dilemma because there’s no perfect solution.
Yeah this has always bugged me about the μMarbles clones! There are a few different Mini Marbles that have these same weirdly-placed X outs, like all the cloning brands used the same open-source templates for the PCB & panel instead of designing it themselves lol.

Thank you for this great video!! Any chance for one like this for your Monsoon? 😀
Thanks, really helpful video
Strange to hear the “technique” of many of the drummers I worked with described succinctly in a Synth demo..🤔
Thanks for this video! What firmware are you using on the o_c ? It looks like Hemi, but I didn't find any random LFO in it.
he doesn't know

Highly recommend! It is a great voltage and gate sequencer! Its all you need to turn what you have into a full voice!

@@kellymerrill5294 oh cool I didn’t know this. Although I wouldn’t even know where to get this done, it’s good information none the less.
😏😶😏
@@afterlateraudio9976 what does this mean!? 😆
@@MrMarcLaflamme meaning is a sweater you knit for yourself. 🤪🤪🤪
In the design I would have swapped X3 and Y ... Have the X's in a row just like the T's and and set the Y in it's own spot.
make your own maybe?
@@V-Pee maybe in software, but in hardware would become a mess 🤣
